She offered me some delicious honey matcha and shared a few words that really stayed with me: "Being so young and trying to take over the world is good... but working hard to get there is even better." That meant a lot. As someone dreaming of building my own business, I own a small private bakery called The Lazo's. We specialize in a variety of desserts, including unique Mexican-style flavors, and we're passionate about sharing them with the community, I would love to welcome a future collaboration. Thank you to the Eden family, to Post Houston, and to the universe for matcha and plants Feeling inspired, grateful, and ready for what's next. Check out! THE HONEY OATMILK MATCHA !!!!!

They host events here, like floral workshops, which is great & there is a lot of space for the class. I got an Iced Fountain of Chai Matcha which was pretty good! This is my second time having matcha, and after being disappointed by my first experience at another establishment, Eden's Matcha has made me want to start drinking it! It was very smooth, and the matcha was not gritty. The notes of vanilla & cinnamon were present & subtle. You can tell that they strive to perfect their matcha for their customers. I'm looking forward to coming back & maybe attending a floral workshop here as well!

Food 4/5 Service 4/5…read moreAmbiance 3.5/5 Press Waffle is a stand set up in Lyric Market, pretty close to the heart of Downtown Houston. Despite its location, it's surprisingly a quiet place - just some pretty light foot traffic in the morning I came. The waffle dish of choice today was "The Rancher" - a play on Chicken and Waffles as a sandwich, featuring syrup, powdered sugar, and ranch on the side. It was a truly creative choice, and it had many highs to it. The chicken was fried well, and the waffles were quite fluffy. However, I wasn't the biggest fan of the ranch and syrup together - maybe it's just personal taste though. The sandwich was also a bit small for the $14 price point - I left definitely wanting some more food in the belly. Overall, not a bad place. The food quality is there - it just may be a bit small portion size.

I went with the House Waffle and added 1 chicken tender. The waffle was really good. I'm glad I only ordered 1 chicken tender because I didn't care for it. It seemed to be a frozen tender fried in old grease. My daughter had the pizza waffle. She enjoyed but couldn't eat it all. There is also a Starbucks attached that serves drinks. Service was just okay. Nothing stood out. I'd definitely recommend the waffles.

I can definitely see myself studying here if I wanted to switch up my environment. It is a popular spot though, so if you are looking for a quieter place to study this might not be it. The parking is limited, but they have some spots in the front as well as a small lot to the left of the building. There's also across the street at the mix as a last resort. Got their infamous einspanner and I was a fan! The whipped foam on top was so creamy without being heavy, and all mixed together, it was a great balance of sweet and creamy with a subtle hit of bitterness from the coffee. I totally get why they are known for this. (8.5/10) The service was also very fast and friendly. Overall, I'd definitely come back.

The Black Sesame Matcha Latte is earthy and tasty. The Peanut Butter Latte is a genuine clever combo with just enough bitterness to keep it from tasting like dessert. Order both. The Ube Einspanner tanks. Tastes like a ube milkshake. Supposedly has 2 shots of espresso but you'll never taste them. Either they forgot it or the ube flavoring buried it completely. Either way, it doesn't work. Here's what matters. The kitchen knows what they're doing. They just miss sometimes. Two solid hits tell you the wins aren't accidents. The misses tell you they're willing to take risks. That's worth supporting. Bottom line. Go for the Black Sesame and Peanut Butter. Skip the Ube. You get to feel smart about knowing what works.

There is plenty of seating indoor and outdoor, which is great because this spot is quite popular. They have two small lots but also plenty of street parking. There's WiFi and outlets throughout, however sometimes the WiFi gets too crowded so it takes a while to connect. Be mindful that you can work anywhere except for the bar. The service is great, they text you when your order is ready and they even say your name in a singsong way lol. I like that they have a new seasonal flavor to try each time I come. I usually get a chai or matcha with whatever the new flavor is. They have ice cold water as well. I typically make my own breakfast tacos when I come here and they're always pretty good. LOVE their fries! It's funny that some of the people that work there will remember you by your order. When I bring others, they enjoy the food. My friend had the patty melt which she said was great.

They had so many drinks to choose from and some food. I liked the variety of things they had to offer and I think I even saw a window for people sitting outside to order at. I only tried a couple of drinks. The first one I tried was the matcha average mule and I guess if you like Moscow mules you would enjoy this. I didn't really find the matcha flavor strong or there at all. It had a lot of the lime flavor more than anything else. The other drink I tried was the pretty in pina which is basically a pina colada. That drink was my favorite amongst the two. It tasted like your classic pina colada. Service was also great I didn't have any issues.
