    Chicken Salad
    Nina P.

I love coming here for my lunch fix. This is a nice and cozy location, with great customer service and the best made to order Chicken salad. Today I tried the chicken nachos They are pretty good and filling. I would suggest the salad. If you get the nachos I would suggest eating them there.

This was my 2nd visit to the new Charbroiled chicken, and it was SO. GOOD. They have a really extensive menu with everything from Charbroiled chicken, to fajitas and tacos, and wings. I called to place my order for chicken tacos and they were just about ready when I arrived a few minutes later. I prefer flour tortillas, which they didn't have , but the corn tortillas they use were actually really good.

    Chicken quesadilla

We walked in and was able to place an order right away. The staff was friendly and patient. The seating area was clean as well. It's small inside, but not super cramped. We ordered a steak quesadilla, a chicken quesadilla, old bay wings, and a steak and cheese with fries. Everything we ordered was cooked perfectly and tasty. I would definitely return.

I work in the hospitality industry and understand the power of reviews. Let me start with I absolutely love Charbroiled and I frequent the Greenbelt location and they don't miss!!! This was my second visit to this location as it is close to the college. I was greeted and promptly served. My issue is with the chicken being diced to where it had no texture, no flavor and it's hard like a brick . I have no problem paying for a salad, but it wasn't event good for the $20 price. Recommendation to the owner, cook, anyone that makes decisions, please stop dicing the chicken! Also, for the salad mix it looked like iceberg lettuce and not romaine. There is a big difference in overall texture for salads. May not return due to the cost and the product don't add up.

    Steak fajitas....steak way too overcooked
    Ria R.

My food didn't taste fresh or authentic....just kind of there. Very low quality proteins. Hard to mess up fajitas but the steak was way over cooked and the flavor profile left a lot to be desired. I've had better fajitas at Chilis Ordered three whole wings because a previous reviewer said they were great. Not mine. These three wings look like they've been through hell. There is a batter of some sort on the chicken ---provides a flavorless crunch but overall it wasn't even edible for me. Truly a waste of money. Food felt like I was in an America's Best not a competitor to Sardi's. Should've went to Sardi's

Perfectly cooked/fried Plantains!!! Usually Sardi's was my go to Ever since my former coworker was brought me some plantains I was in love. I felt like I was cheating on Sardi's lol cuz I ended up one day in town grabbing some food from here. I love that It's not overly packed , nobody is rushing so the chicken is always done and always juicy!. They give you a grand portion of sides , very filling indeed , when you walk in they greet you immediately, give you time and space to check the menu then check back like a waiter/waitress. Everything is seasoned doooown!!! So you definitely don't have to worry about bland or something not being flavored or flavorful enough!!. I'd most definitely return I'm trying not to have a dinner every day of the week honestly, I'm a chef I need to get back into cooking dinner!!!. I love this place I'd most definitely return maybe Thursday that's enough space to give to go buy a dinner.. so if ever you drop in town like I do definitely you won't regret it at all enjooooooooooooy!!!

The photo doesn't do the burger justice. It was juicy, flavorful, and filled with great taste. My only suggestion would be to lightly toast the bun, as it was served a bit cool. Our server, LB, was fantastic! He was friendly, attentive, and incredibly helpful throughout the meal. Even though the restaurant was busy during the lunch rush, the atmosphere was comfortable enough to enjoy a conversation with my colleagues without feeling rushed. Overall, a very enjoyable experience, and I'd definitely come back.

We rolled up during happy hour and the bar was already three deep with concert goers, professionals still in their work clothes, and a few locals holding their usual spots. There were no open tables in sight but that didn't matter. We found our corner of the bar fast, and honestly, that ended up being the best seat in the house. A band played soft in the background. Servers moved through in outfits that said upscale, not sports bar. The whole room had that pre-show buzz, dressed up but not stiff. We blended in well. We started with the spinach and artichoke dip on a local's recommendation. It came with warm chips, sour cream, and a house made salsa that quietly stole the entire appetizer. I wanted a bowl of just the salsa. Our server, who clearly knew the menu inside and out, sold us on the smoked salmon, and we added a side of bacon mac and cheese along with the cornbread. The salmon looked right, cooked medium with real smoke on it, but the smoke won the fight against the fish. Mushy inside, more fishy than smoky should allow. The sauce didn't rescue it either. Sautéed spinach on the side needed salt, plain and simple. Then the cornbread and mac and cheese showed up and reminded us why we came. Rich, comforting, with the kind of flavor that makes you forget the salmon happened. When I'm back, I'm ordering both of those twice and calling it a meal. Drinks were the real win. A Saratoga sparkling water kept things clean between bites, and the Peartini was one of the better cocktails I've had in a while, balanced, not too sweet, actually worth the price. The seat beside us turned over twice during the meal, first someone who went to the concert a few days earlier and wanted to talk about it, then someone else who slid in for a quick drink while waiting on their table. Both ended up in easy conversation with us, no forcing it. That's the part I keep thinking about, not the salmon. Copper Canyon got the room right, the drinks, the starters, the easy conversation with strangers. Some nights the food is the headline. This one, it was the people and the vibes, making it a great after-work or pregame pitstop, and that's always worth gathering for.

There were a lot of empty tables and plenty of people waiting but they were doing a shift change. We finally got seated and you could tell that the hostess was overwhelmed. People also need to understand that front of house and back of house are two separate areas that play a part in your dining experience. The person taking your order is passing it to back of the house. So if your food comes out incorrectly, it's not front of house's fault but they bear the brunt of it and it often impacts tipping. I kept it light with the smokehouse wings and a salad. The wings were really good. The salad wasn't bad but the vinaigrette was so watery. I waited over 15 minutes to speak to a manager about it. Her feedback was that they didn't stir it well prior to serving it to me. I was like whatevs and chalked it up. If she can look and immediately tell what the issue is, that signals that she's seen this before and little may have been done to correct the deficiency. We absolutely tipped our server. She was doing the best she could in a large section she was managing alone. The bathroom was in total disarray with water pooled on the sink and floor. It's obvious that someone isn't making their rounds to check on cleanliness. If I never went back to this location, I wouldn't be sad.

Going on a Friday night I just knew it would be packed, but surprisingly it was easy to get a spot at a table near the bar. The wait for a table in the main restaurant was running about 40 mins, but would have risked not being seated before the kitchen closed. Despite the bar being busy, we were greeted and served pretty quickly. The DC tap water is my go to drink and you definitely get your moneys worth. My husband ordered the hurricane and was very satisfied with the amount of liquor he could actually taste. For meals I had to get the tiger wings. I love that sauce so much and wish they sold the sauce by itself. Also got a side of the greens which were tasty and not overcooked, I just feel like the flavor is something I would get tired of after a while. My husband ordered the jambalaya and it was also good. When we lived in the area we used to frequent the restaurant for happy hour. They have remained consistent and I'll definitely be back next time I'm in the DMV.

The buffet didn't disappoint with everything from the omelette station, carving station (roast beef and turkey), pasta, jambalaya, fried chicken and all the breakfast favorites. The restaurant is very spacious with lots of levels that are 2-3 steps up or down. Be careful to catch them all and not stumble. The service was my star deduction. The wait was 1.5 hours (added our names remotely) but upon arrival there seemed to be confusion. A server never came to take drink orders or provide silverware. We even got our first plates with nothing then had to ask the manager. She had someone come by but it was strange for such a busy day to forget us or not have assigned servers. Overall, the food was inconsistent. Some things were bland and others seasoned very well. The turkey sausage was mid and grits had no flavor - cheese grits at that. Maybe ordering off the menu will fair better. Great value for the price!

Yes, be prepared for the prices. A lot of the menu is listed as market price, and you may have a little "ooh!" moment when you see the bill . But the quality absolutely matched the price. This was the kind of food that makes you want to go back in the kitchen and slap the chef -- respectfully, of course! We started with the complimentary sourdough bread, followed by the Cream of Crab Soup, which was hands down one of the best I've ever had. Creamy, flavorful, and seasoned perfectly. The Crab Dip was phenomenal too. You could actually TASTE the crab instead of a bunch of filler. Hubby and I both went for the famous Crab Bombs. I had the Baby Bomb with shrimp, and it was more than enough food. Hubby had the full Crab Bomb, and we both ended up leaving with doggy bags. The crab cakes were packed with REAL crab and NO FILLER, which we absolutely appreciated. Even the coleslaw tasted homemade from scratch, and as an Old Bay lover, I appreciated having Old Bay right on the table so I could add a little extra seasoning. My only warning: come prepared for the price. It is definitely on the expensive side, but we didn't mind paying for it because the portions were generous and the seafood quality was excellent. Pricey? Yes. Worth it? ABSOLUTELY. Shout out to the chef! We will definitely be back!

Horrible Customer Service -- Very Disappointed…read more My daughter and I come to this Outback almost every weekend, so unfortunately, this experience was extremely disappointing. We waited approximately 30 minutes just to be seated. While we were still waiting, two customers walked in and seated themselves. After we were finally seated, our server greeted us, but before taking care of us, one of those customers approached the bartender, Chris, to complain that they hadn't been served. Chris went back and got the server who was supposed to be taking care of my daughter and me, and instead of prioritizing the customers who had already been properly seated and waiting, she went and took care of them first. At that point, we decided to leave. It is absolutely unacceptable to wait that long, finally get seated, and then watch our server prioritize other customers over us. I've been coming here almost every weekend with my daughter, which makes this experience even more disappointing. I didn't even feel like I was wanted there, and the lack of customer service was enough for me to decide that I won't be returning anytime soon. I would rather drive farther to another Outback where I know I'll receive better customer service. Management really needs to address how customers are being treated because this was unacceptable.
