Recently had a need for a couple of new appliances. The day of the first delivery the service folks refused to take our old microwave. The salesperson told me they would so I stopped the delivery. The salesman called me back and told me they would return to our house and do everything that was promised to me (take the microwave). The truck was sitting in front of my house. The salesperson (owners son) said they would be back in four hours. I told him the truck is in front of the house and he said too bad, I would say that was the definition of poor service, but wait, it gets better. The owner called me back and talked me into taking the order. This time they used a private company to make the delivery. At that time I would say the service/delivery folks were great. BUT THEN, here we are six weeks later, returning home from a two week vacation and find the hot water hose to the washer machine has been leaking at the connection to the washer. The hardwood floors in the laundry room are all buckled and ruined, the water came through the first floor ceiling. Tri-City agreed to send a service technician to the house today between 11am and 1pm. He allegedly was here and I wasn't. Our security cameras show that he was here, parked in my driveway at about 10:50am and was gone about 10:55am. I was in my back yard talking with my neighbor. I called asked them to come back, the service department is not responding so I ended up with the owners son again. He said they would call and reschedule. To top this off they put the blame on the delivery company they use. The delivery company called me up and refused to send anyone out and said they did not do this job. WE WILL NEVER USE TRI-CITY SALES AGAIN. Really a shame they have fallen apart the way they have. I guess I will have to hire someone to fix the washer machine and hire a contractor to make repairs. They need to stand behind the products and services they provide.

I contacted Home Pro and got a very quick response from David. Within 30 minutes of his arrival, David had diagnosed the problem as a faulty door switch. Unfortunately, the part had to be ordered but within 48 hours, the part arrived and David was back at my home to complete the repair - with a savings of more than $125 off the LG offer. David is professional and very respectful of my home. The first thing he did when he arrived was to put on "hospital booties" to protect my rugs. That attention to detail plus his ability to diagnose / repair in a timely manner is reason enough to recommend Home Pro. Kathy

He quickly assessed that the drain pump was not functioning correctly. He gave me a honest quote, and he asked if I wanted to make the repair. After discussing with my wife, we agreed to get the washer repaired. He had the part with him and got to work to replace the part. In addition to making the repair well, he spent time to check that the washer worked after replacing the part and that it did not leak before closing the washer up. He then moved back the washer in place even though I am the one who moved the washer in the first place. He gave me a 1-year warranty on the repair as he used a genuine LG part. He was professional and courteous. I would definitely call Home Pro Appliance again for any appliance problem.

Our 20 year old Liebherr refrigerator ice maker stopped working about 6 months ago. We love the…read morerefrigerator and the ice maker was the only problem. We had several technicians from other companies try to troubleshoot and fix the problem, and they worked hard to get it working, including replacing the ice maker and water fill valve. But, they could not get it to work. We were resigned to have to purchase bags of ice for the remaining life of the refrigerator. As one ditch effort, I call Mr. Appliance of Salem, and Giuseppe Curreri came to troubleshoot the problem. After a good 2 hours of pulling out the refrigerator, testing the communicating lines and other parts of the ice maker system, studying the electrical diagrams, and talking with Liebherr technical support, he found the problem. And, as often is the case, the problem was simple but difficult to diagnose. I've never seen anybody so determined to solve a problem and with such a "never give-up" attitude. Thank you Giuseppe for "saving the day", and of course it's nice to have our ice back. AND! His repair price was Very Reasonable. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Steve of Wakefield.

I was away at work and my wife had an issue with the washing machine with a latch on the top that…read morehad broken on the lid. They gave her an estimate for $400. When I cam home I was able to order the part for $7 (a plastic latch) and replace the part in less than a minute. I have zero clue how any company could give that type of estimate for the job and really question if it is a predatory issue or what the grounds of the estimate were. I makes me really question the integrity and how they came up with the estimate
