    I cannot recommend this company in good faith. We called…read morethem to repair our refrigerator. The technician who was a nice man simply refilled it with refrigerant (Freon) without adding UV dye or performing a proper diagnostic to identify the source of the leak. The refrigerator worked for only 10 days before it stopped cooling again. When we called back and asked if they could refill it again with dye to actually diagnose the problem, we were told it "wouldn't be worth it because of the age of the fridge." We also asked whether they would consider a partial refund since the repair lasted less than two weeks, but management outright refused. I understand that not every repair is guaranteed to succeed, but I do expect an honest effort to diagnose the problem before charging for what turned out to be a very temporary fix after being told that it will last for 1 year. Unfortunately, we paid for a service that did not resolve the issue, and the company's unwillingness to stand behind its work or offer a fair resolution was very disappointing. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend this company !!!

    I called My Son's Store yesterday to get a dryer part for my elderly parents..I inquired about a…read morepart, which he had. He then asked me if I planned on replacing the part myself. When I said yes, he advised me I should not do it muself, because it can be dangerous and can be complicated..I asked if he does repairs and he said he could be at the house this morning. He called right at 9am and was at my parents house within 20 minutes. The dryer was working again by 10 am. He charged a good price and was super nice to my mom. I recommend him! One guy wanted $100 just to walk in the door.

    This place is HORRIBLE. My boyfriend went to the store and put a cash deposit on a fridge. Right before we stopped at the store we had gone to Home Depot and found a brand new fridge at $380 with a 5 year warranty!! So we ask for the deposit back and he says, I don't got the money come back tomorrow. We are just moving to lynn from Boston so that's super inconvenient. Fine. A few days later we are moving furniture so I called the guy in the morning to tell him we were coming and I called when I was on my way. He said, no problem come. We get there and we forgot the yellow receipt at home. He gives us the hardest time about giving us the money because of that. But what really pissed me off was that when I asked him to pull his copy of the receipt out all I get is a blank stare. He wouldn't give the money back because he didn't have the receipt in his books. As a business they should keep record of all transactions but this place is a hole in the wall. They grab broken down appliances and resell it for almost the price of brand new appliances at reputable companies. Don't ever go here because you will regret it.

    I have purchased a handful of appliances from the store. I love that it's local, and you can…read moregenerally find the same sales people time after time. I have mostly been happy with the final products, which really isn't a reflection of Beach Sales per se (but rather, Electrolux, Kitchenaid, etc.). I had one somewhat negative experience after a delivery person dropped stove pieces outside of my home and tried to deliver without comment (I witnessed). It took an unnecessary amount of discussion with folks back at the store to come up with a repair plan. But ultimately they helped to re-send replacement cast iron parts for what had been dropped and damaged. Most recently, I have grown very frustrated with trying to access the 50% rebate on an unused five-year warranty. I feel that I was misled. It's come to my attention that the "50% back" is actually just for Beach Sales purchases, and it's not a refund check as it had seemed. Not only that, there are many many hoops to jump through. Even after jumping through all the hoops and gathering all the old documents from five years ago AND following the guidelines, I am still waiting six months later with no rebate. No coupon nor check. While the extra five-year warranty sounds like a good idea, don't count on the 50% back rebate. And be sure to ask questions.

    Okay. The technician fixed the Goodman system and the AC is working. It is definitely not cheap…read more The total cost before discount (10%) is over $1500. I had to find the discount on their website separately because they do not offer to me automatically. I am not happy with the communication and the thermostat replaced. It is a rental property. Unlike other companies I used, I never received a call 30-60 mins before the technician arrived. So I was not sure if he showed up or not. Whenever I called the company, I was talking to the teams handling customer service, not the technician directly. So there is always a middle man between the tech and me to translate information. The diagnosis was on Wednesday. I approved the quote right away after I received it. The repair was the next Thursday 8 days later. The appointment was initially scheduled for the morning between 9-12. I then got a call to say he could not make it on time and would be there around 1pm. I got a tenant message to say he still did not show up at 2:30PM without any call to inform he would be further late. What I am most disappointed is the new thermostat installed during this repair! He replaced my old programmable thermostat with a new FocusPro N100 Non-Programmable Thermostat 1H/1C. When every household is switching to a smart thermostat, he installed an ancient manual controlled thermostat! I would appreciate he could give me some option to select different types of thermostat. I would have no problem to pay for something better or even buy a smart thermostat myself. I called the company to complain about it. All I got was it is fully functional and it is more modern than my old programmable thermostat! I could not be more disappointed about this. Despite they fixed my AC, I do not feel comfortable to use this company again and to recommend it to anyone else if this is not addressed.
