Griffith is the BEST. He's always on time (to the minute!). His pricing is fair and he's honest. We've had two occasions where he could have taken our money to fix two different appliances--he was completely honest with us and told us that it would be more cost effective for us to simply buy new appliances (dishwasher and cooktop). He could have taken our money over and over again when the dishwasher and cooktop would need to be fixed again and again, but he took the honest route instead. For this reason, I will ALWAYS call on Griffith for my appliance repair needs (not to mention he knows exactly what he's doing on all appliances and he does a terrific job!). When we came home one night to a refrigerator making souds like a jackhammer and everything in the freezer defrosted, we thought for sure we needed a new unit. After we cleaned it out and plugged it back in it seemed to work fine but we needed assurances. We contacted Adesso and after talking to Griffith on the phone, we made an appointment. We were glad we did. What happened after that were things we do not remember ever happening with a repair service. They called to confirm the appointment the day before and Griffith called in the morning to let us know he was on the way and might be a few minutes late. He arrived, listened to the details of what happened, immediately knew what the problem was, made the fix. He then told us why the issue happened and what to look for to make sure it doesn't happen again. He was done in less than 30 minutes and the price was extremely reasonable. We called after reading all the positive reviews, and we're glad to add ours to the list. Griffith came a couple days after we called and very quickly diagnosed the problem with our dryer. He had the part he needed in his truck and was finished repairing it in less than thirty minutes after his arrival, for a very reasonable rate. We asked if he'd be willing to take a look at our broken dishwasher while he was here, and he was happy to. He let us know that the dishwasher was not worth fixing, which was very helpful. We had a dryer problem, it worked but would not shut off on its own. Most places wanted money just to show up. I had explained what was needed. He showed up and checked things out. It was the part I thought but he did not have one. He ordered that part but did not want any money until the job was done. Part was $116 and he charged a total of $100 for the 2 visits. Very grateful for the service and we will get out money back through our electric bill as we would leave the dryer running for hours. read more

I agree with all the reviews! I had an experience that was helpful, efficient, and friendly. I was very nervous about the ringing noise coming from my freezer. As a new home owner, this was my first time dealing with an appliance malfunction. Griffith asked a lot of good questions and inspected everything thoroughly. He actually explained what he was doing, so it was a great learning experience for me! It's kind of funny-- he didn't exactly figure out the root of the problem (since the fridge had stopped making its noise) but somehow he still fixed it- as the noise has officially stopped (I think he fixed it by turning it off and on again haha, classic). My washing machine broke down recently and I called Adesso for a quote. They started off with a very low, reasonable price and so I set up an appointment with them. The Adesso guy(sorry I forgot his name) called up before the appointed time to check if he can come early, so I let him. He was real quick with his job, and fixed the machine within 20 minutes! The issue was a sock was stuck in the machine's pump. He told me the standard rate for repairs like those and it was still reasonable compared to other people I had called. I can't say enough about the level of service we receive from Adesso. Griff is very knowledgeable and super friendly. His most recent visit to our home, while working on our dryer, he noticed my furnace was making an awful noise. He lubricated certain parts of the furnace, showed my wife what was wrong, and how to maintain it throughout the year. He literally saved me from buying a new furnace. I use Griff all the time (as I am a property manager) and I cannot say enough good things about him. His prices are very reasonable and he's the most honest repairman I've ever met. He's never turned down an appliance in need of repair and is not afraid to tell me when one needs to be replaced (which isn't often). The repairs he makes last and he's extremely thorough. I've gone through many appliance companies and stopped using them because every time they'd come out they would just tell me to replace the machine 8/10 times. The owner, Griffith, arrived on time and quickly diagnosed my Maytag dishwasher's ailment. It needed a new control panel, which is what I suspected. He ordered the part right away and arranged a time to come back and do the repair. He returned a week later. He apologized for being 5 minutes late, which was no big deal to me, but it shows how dedicated he is to providing top-notch, reliable service. Thanks to the commenter before me, I looked up Adesso right off the bat, and I'm glad I did. Alexis, who I set up the appointment with, was really friendly and helpful with my silly questions (as i've never had a stove fixed before) and helped me set up an appointment asap. I also had Griff as my repairman, and out of all the repairmen that have graced my apartments, he was the best! He arrived a few minutes before the appointment time which was awesome, and he was friendly and personable from start till the finish. 20 minutes later, our oven was fixed and we had a nice chat! I too had a wonderful experience the FIRST time I used Adesso for a problem with my washing machine. We were so pleased, that when we started having another issue with the washer (which was unrelated,) Adesso was the first company I called. I called once and left a message with his wife (I believe she takes messages and helps with scheduling.) When I didn't get a return call a couple of days later, which was odd for them, I called again and found that she had transposed my # and she said it was still strange that he didn't check on that issue. Again, never got a call back. The third and last call I made, no one picked up, so I left a message asking for a call back. To my surprise, NO RETURN CALL. I had to take my business elsewhere, but was really disappointed and frankly shocked at how this was mishandled. Don't know really what to make of this, but we won't be giving our money to Adesso ever again. Not a good way to do business. I am changing this review because Adesso (Grif) called me today, with an incredibly wonderful and heartfelt explaination of what has actually been happening behind the scenes of his business. The person answering the phone was NOT his wife, but someone he had hired to do this job. She did not do it well, and he consequently didn't get a great percentage of his calls. This did wreak havoc on his business. No surprise there. I commend him for taking the time to call and rectify the problem. He takes these reviews quite seriously and I respect that. First of all, from the receptionist who handles your request to the repair person, Griff, they are total professionals that really understand how to treat a customer. They outline their services and the repair cost upfront so that there are no surprises then get right to it. We have a Viking Range that is over 20 years old, and he was able to fix the 2 dormant burners on the stove top and replace the 2 starters for the oven for $300.00, and easily completed the work within one hour. Compare that to spending well over $1000.00 with Marblehead Appliance a few years ago for similar-type repairs, and Adesso is clearly the best choice. read more

For a couple of weeks, I'd noticed the food in my 13-year old Maytag refrigerator getting a little warmer, and the freezer being much colder than seemed necessary. I finally called Adesso yesterday to see what was going on because after I sprung for a thermometer, I found the fridge was running at 50 degrees and the freezer at 20 below. Today, Griffith the owner arrived at the appointed hour, 9AM, found the problem, and for what I feel is a very reasonable price, replaced the defective part. He explained the problem very thoroughly and offered me two two replacement options, seeming to favor the less expensive one. That was fine, certainly. Fridge temp is heading below 40 as I write. I kept having intermittent moaning in the freezer compartment even when I turned off the ice maker...I even made a video of it! Griff was the best! Very knowledgeable and explained what it likely was (fan) and how it could affect other parts of the refrigerator if not replaced.
