We had some deferred maintenance related to several trees on our property, including a 25-year-old pine by the driveway and a 30-year-old palm by the sidewalk. He showed up with two giant trucks and a chipper that are massive enough to cut anything down. Easy five stars for Charles and his team. Within a day of contacting Charles our tree was already gone. Both the quote and actual removal was prompt and professional. Even though we had a very narrow backyard to work in, his team was able to carefully remove a HUGE mulberry tree that was hanging over two structures and a fence with no drops or damage. It also didn't hurt that the quote to remove our tree was very reasonable and less than the two other quotes we solicited. I am delighted to have hired Charles and his crew to work at my Mothers house. She had a huge half dead tree tangled in a 6 foot cyclone fence and the stump was at least 3 feet in diameter. The crew did an excellent job. I am pleased that the fence is in good shape, even though it was so tangled in the stump. When I called their phone number, I got a real person and not an answering machine. They came out that afternoon and gave us a very reasonable estimate. Even more impressive, they were available to do the work the next morning. The crew arrived on time with two large trucks and a chipper and a team of workers. A couple hours later all five giant ficuses were trimmed up and all the trimmings hauled away. They even used a leaf blower and cleaned off the roof. We would definitely use them again. read more

I had Charles come and remove a way overgrown palm and juniper from my front yard and clean up alot of debris from my back yard. I did shop around before hand and Charles gave me the best quote. He was able to come out the next day and finish the job in under three hours. Cleaning everything up nicely. I always thought stump grinders left more of a mess than I saw when I got home, so he was probably pretty careful. While he was here two of my neighbors had him do some work for them and they were pretty happy. He did a great job, in my opinion. However, I have to go down to four stars because in the process of removing the palm he killed on of my wife's favorite flowers. I probably should have told him to be more careful of that. I was cleaning up my backyard on July 3rd in preparation for my 4th of July BBQ and noticed that my tree was shedding way too much and needed a real good trimming. Called in the evening of July 3rd to leave a message, but surprisingly got through to Charles himself. I gave him my info and he promised to call me July 5th to schedule. Sure enough, 8:30AM rolls by on July 5th and he calls me to come by. He's here at 9, gives a reasonable quote, and by noon he's back at my house with his equipment ready to go. He did a great job and left the backyard cleaner than when he got there. Hopefully, the one tree in my backyard will last a while, but if I ever need a tree trimmer, Charles is who I'm calling. read more

Charles did an outstanding job taking down three trees in my neighbors yard. He was prompt, polite and easy to work with. His price was very reasonable. He had to take down three trees and the rut system that was invading my yard. It required taking down a portion of a fence and cutting off a water line to my sprinklers. This company is super great. I called Charles to request an estimate and he was at my house like 45 minutes later. His price was amazing and he and his team showed up that afternoon (seriously like 4 hours after my original call), and did a really big job for us, with a 30' palm tree and a 30' old cedar that had been partially hacked by sdge). At our request, they mulched up our cedar, dumped it where I asked, and then hauled away our palm tree. They also took some additional requests for how the cedar trunk (prolly at least 30" diameter) was cut up for us to save. All with smiles and happy helpful attitudes. I called Charles on Tuesday and he came out within an hour to give me an estimate. He has cheaper than any other company I called too. His crew came out Wednesday while I was at work and removed a 40ft. nuisance tree (I don't know what kind of tree it was, but it was huge and shed either leaves or berries all year round. I constantly had to sweep the deck and patio). I came home to a clean yard, no debris. The tree was also pretty much on the property line with my neighbor, they didn't leave any debris in the neighbors yard either. Charles came by after I got home to collect payment. I cannot recommend Charles and his team enough. They removed a twisted juniper that was growing against the side of our house and ground it down to the stump, trimmed and shaped an overgrown hibiscus, trimmed eight palm trees, and removed a large bush and a lot of bamboo and ground all of that down as well. All of this work was done in five hours! And at a very reasonable price too. The yard was left in great condition, in fact probably cleaner than it was! Charles and his crew were fantastic! I called yesterday about a tricky bougainvillea growing inside my fence and a bottlebrush that needed a serious makeover. Charles came by that day and took a look and gave me an estimate of $350. I thought it was fair, given that the bougainvillea was going to be a real pain to remove (taking apart the fence, and not damaging my turf, a power line, or the foundation, as it was right next to my house). He said he could do it the next day at 8am and I was floored! They arrived exactly at 8 and immediately got to work. His right-hand man was there and did another walk through with me, and Charles arrived a little while later. It took them about an hour and a half, but my fence is back up and bougainvillea-free, and my bottlebrush is looking quite svelte, if I do say so myself! The trees looked ok, however they did not clean up very well afterwards. I spent over and hour raking and picking up trimmings they left scattered all over the front and back yards. They also did not take away all the trimmings, rather they opted to use my trash can and couldn't even make the few extra steps to the yard waste bin. Wouldn't use them again. read more
