Man, do I feel like a friggin' dingus! Driving up to the location of this lovely establishment…read moreproved to be nothing shy of slightly misguided. I blame Google Maps for this (not the restaurant) because it had me turn directly into the EXIT lane! Yeah. By the time I realized my mistake, it was too late. Couldn't do a three point turn. Couldn't just reverse out of there and try again. So, I sheepishly drove my car at a snail's pace up the wrong way whilst veering as far to the right side as I could. Passed like 3 cars. Yep. I'll likely beat myself up over that one for years to come. Anyways, welcome to my Prime at Sky Meadow review! :D So, wifey and I share the same birth month. Every year, we choose a bougie restaurant to have what we call a combined birthday dinner together. Tired of always going to Ruth's Chris every other year, we decided to see what the locale had to offer. One thing led to another and...we ended up booking a res at Prime. Walking in, we're immediately greeted with an aura of elegance. The entrance consists of a grand standing lobby featuring a self playing piano, adding to the opulent atmosphere. We were able to get a table within mere seconds after they verified our reservation. The dining room LOOKS nice and has a great view, from what I understand (it was dark that evening, so we couldn't enjoy the view). Too bad I can't say the same for the acoustics. Out of the many fine dining restaurants I've visited in my life, Prime may possibly be one of the noisiest. I think it's because the tables are too close together. Which means you can almost hear entire conversations at the table next to yours. It's why I never travel in public without at least one pair of earbuds. Misophoniacs UNITE!! XD Now, I'd like to give a shout out to the waitress who took care of us that evening (I really wish I didn't suck with names so much). Service was stellar, overall. After receiving our drinks, we ordered the following.. Appetizers: Got the crab cake and clam chowder. Now, I just need to mention...our waitress had us at, "it's pure crab, no breadcrumbs". Both our eyes lit up as I said, "Yup. We'll take it!". Guys. I gotta tell ya....not a lot of restaurants can make a crab cake properly. Yet, Prime nails it! This thing was f#*!ing delicious! I dare say it may possibly be the greatest crab cake one can buy anywhere in the state of NH. And I will stand by that claim until or unless I discover better elsewhere. The clam chowder is in a league of its own. I often say how the very best chowders are the ones you don't have to add any additional seasoning to. This one totally slaps! Creamy, savory, made with REAL fresh clams. The cheesy bread they give on the side pairs brilliantly with the chowder as well. Solid 10 out of 10 for both apps! Mains: Wifey and I stuck with our favorites, getting a filet and ribeye, respectively. Describing the taste of these should be brief, since they seem to season all their steaks the same way. While the temperatures were absolutely spot-on, they could have used a bit more seasoning for our preference. However, we didn't see the need to send them back and just sprinkled some salt over the steak instead. Ch'yeah! Forgot to mention...this is one of the few fine dining restaurants that actually leaves the salt and pepper shakers on the table. Inconceivable! :o Got the lobster mac & cheese as the sharable side. And, uh....I think we were totally spoiled by RC's version of this. Because what Prime does here is....unique. The cheese (which I STILL cannot identify yet) was so mild, I truly believe the chefs were going for a subtle flavor. If done properly, it can actually give a delectable impression to the palate. Few extra dashes of salt, the whole thing was quite tasty! My one complaint here though: lobster meat was lacking. Normally, the ratio should be something like 70/30, macaroni's favor. This version was more like...85/15. Side's an 8 out of 10; steaks would both be a 9 out of 10. Dessert: Last, we have the peanut butter pie. I decided to take this one home, since I already felt like a pregnant whale by this point. Simply put, this pie was nothing short of sublime. Rock hard chocolate frosting aside, this was a 9 out of 10 for me. It's worth noting an 18% service fee is automatically charged to your total bill. So, take that into account when tipping. I'm not totally sure why they do this regardless of party size. Nevertheless, we made sure to close the gap, so to speak, on the gratuity by adding in an additional 7%. Service was just that good! Whilst I'd love to be able to give this place a perfect score, I honestly can't when considering the noisy ambiance of the dining area and lack of lobster portioning in their mac & cheese. That's not to say, however, that Prime is anything short of an amazing dining experience. I'm giving Prime at Sky Meadow 4 stunningly sweet chocolate peanut butter pies that melt in your mouth, not on your fork, out of 5.

I appreciate the fact they allowed us to be seated at different time as the second car was ten minutes behind. We started with a few drinks and took our time looking over the menu. Sarah was nice enough to give us insight on the portion size. All of the sides are shareable for 3-4 people. Even a few of the main dishes you can share amongst two people. The standout menu items were Miso Sea Bass, Ribeye, and mac and cheese. That Sea Bass was beyond amazing. Aside from the food our waitress was amazing, she was the queen at small talk. She had a wonderful attitude and was on top of our drink orders and brought the food out in a timely manner. The manager Felix was also such a delight. You can tell he loves his job and people! Made the graduates feel extra special especially with the comped desserts. (Thank you for remembering the nut allergy.) Such a lovely experience. Expect to pay around $75 - $125 depending on the main course and drinks. Thankful this is the location we choose to have a celebration dinner. Highly recommend for people visiting out of town and locals looking for a nice meal. Overall STRONG 5/5 stars!

Mike's Italian Kitchen does not meet the same bar, sadly, for the food quality. The positives were there was plenty of room and easy to get a reservation, the greeter was pleasant and the complimentary bread was very good. The cons: The pasta described as "pappardelle" is not the traditional flat noodle you'd expect. It is wider with a curly edge and difficult to eat. The sausage and meatballs were tough and chewy. Our server was pleasant but I felt a bit taken advantage of, as when 2 of us wanted the same wine, he recommended a bottle and set our expectation we could take home what we didn't drink. As we were wrapping up and chatting, he filled our glasses then walked away with the empty bottle. Neither of us drank those last glasses. I wish he would have asked if either of us wanted final refills before emptying the bottle. So, not likely this is a place I'd return to.

The restaurant is beautiful inside and has a nice bar as well as a dining room room. Hannah, our waitress, was super personable, and very engaging. They had a drink special that was cucumber, jalapeño, pineapple and tequila. It was so great. Hope you had a dirty martini that he said was delicious. We started with calamari. I moved onto the Bolognese over house made pappardelle and he had veal saltimbocca. The veal was pounded thin, it was super tender, and it was over house made spaghetti. Pasta on both dinners was perfectly cooked. The Bolognese was loaded with meat and super delicious. The saltimbocca was tender, perfectly seasoned, very fresh tasting with the prosciutto and fresh sage. We finished with some of the best cannoli that I've ever had. They properly wait to fill it until you order. The cannoli shells were light, thin and crispy. The ricotta filling was perfect. We will definitely be back and I highly recommend this place when you are in Nashua.

Stopped in recently for an early dinner the day before Easter with no reservation and somehow got seated almost immediately. A small miracle. We're perfectly fine with the bar area, but scoring an actual dinner table felt like winning the restaurant lottery. Our waitress was fantastic -- knew the specials, knew the menu, and brought great energy without hovering. The kind of service that makes you relax and settle in. My spouse and I kicked things off with espresso martinis (on the creamy, frothy side -- highly recommended if that's your vibe). Dinner did not disappoint: paired everything with a bottle of Cab, my spouse absolutely demolished a medium-rare prime rib while I went for a lean medium ribeye that hit the spot. Sides were solid, and in a rare moment of adult decision-making, we passed on the bread. Reliable, welcoming, and delicious -- exactly why we keep coming back.

*** Salmon Surprise in the Mashed Potatoes - Not What We Ordered ***…read more We took my mom and grandmother out for a family dinner at Texas Roadhouse after a busy day of kids' activities. Everyone ordered steaks with sides, including mashed potatoes. One of the mashed potato servings had large, noticeable chunks of salmon mixed and buried throughout the middle. It was very off-putting and borderline disturbing, especially for a steakhouse side dish. We immediately notified our server, who was polite and replaced the side, but she had no explanation for how it happened (no mention of cross-contamination prevention or kitchen procedures). While we appreciated the replacement, the bill was not adjusted at all -- not even a small courtesy discount for the salmon "bonus." For a family dinner that should have been a nice treat, this was disappointing and left a bad taste (literally and figuratively). Texas Roadhouse usually does better. Hoping this was a one-off, but quality control and basic food safety awareness need improvement.

I wish I remembered her name because she is what every other waitress should aspire to. We had only eaten some of our dinners when we asked for the check, nothing was bad we were just full. When she saw we were only taking home our steaks she packed each of us another side salad and a bunch of rolls to take home. Sometimes it's those little things that stick out and truly make the meal stand out!!
