Our experience was mixed: Positive o Waitstaff was friendly and efficient. o Manager visited our table to get feedback on our experience. o Food was reasonably priced and budget oriented. o Ambiance was good. Roomy booth for two of us. o Desserts were huge and top quality. I had the cheesecake and my wife had the chocolate lava cake. These were some of the best desserts we've ever had. o My wife liked her chicken sandwich and Margarita. o I had lemonade which was good and the refill was no-charge. o The French fries were good. Negative o I had the ribeye steak. Although it was cooked properly, it had a lot of gristle. My grocery store-purchased steaks are higher quality. o The steak knives are huge and not very sharp. I struggled to use mine to cut the steak. I "hacked" at it. o My mac and cheese side dish had too much garlic in it. o The bread was dry and tasteless. No butter knife provided. (We used our clumsy steak knives.) Tiny dollop of butter for whole mini-loaf. o Unfortunately, these issues degraded our overall experience. Summary Would I come back to this restaurant? I have been going to this location since it was built, what I have found Covid is the quality of the food has gone down noticeably, the other thing I was shocked to see when I ordered a burger size reduction of the patty and again the quality of the meat, chicken tenders used to be the greatest side you get there. First let me say Caroline our server was great. The kitchen crew on January 11th around 530 was well I'd say incompetent. My husband ordered a steak, he couldn't eat a quarter of it as it was full of fat. My Filet Mignon wasn't a filet, it was a sirloin steak. His salad came out with the meal, not before as we expected. Oh my, what a great time we had! We were greeted by Pat! He was so nice to us! He was so enthuastic! It was 9 of us for lunch. We had drinks and asked Rory to wait until we finished our drinks. Rory checked on us often. We finally decided to order. Everything came out at the same time, so we didn't feel we had to wait to eat. We were told not to rush, and we didn't! Rory checked on us often. She brought water and sodas without our asking! I knew she was from the south (where niceness is a prerequisite -- I'm from the south too). We received a gift card for Christmas and went today to enjoy a steak dinner. We've ordered several different steaks over the years but never the Ribeye 12oz. It was tough, full of grizzle, way over seasoned and not a happy experience at all. We split Flo's tenderloin, which today was very dry, and the ribeye so we each had at least half a good experience. The bread was delicious. The restaurant was clean. The waitperson was very nice and so was the gentleman who served the meal. They still have the $4.99 scoop of great vanilla ice cream with syrup which we shared with 2 spoons! Oh we'll go back. The lunch specials are usually great and so is the porterhouse steak. I went there tonight for my fiancés birthday with our son! Let me tell you! The service was outstanding. From beginning to end. When we called before we arrived the host said it was a 15 min wait and we were 5 min away and got seated right away. Our waiter Ryan was absolutely phenomenal! So friendly and kind and on point and great service! He was attentive and not overly aggressive, he was perfect! I was so impressed! I cannot wait to go back and I'm asking for him again! The atmosphere was terrific! We got our drinks and food quickly! My martini was so delicious and perfect! And then the food! Was just absolutely delicious! We got a complimentary sundae at the end for his birthday and they sang to him! It was such a great night! Everything went well. We were greeted quickly and seated in a quiet corner as requested. Ben, the waiter was prompt and got us appetizers as soon as possible as we were starving. I was craving a steak today, we went to the longhorn because we go there all the time, I ask for my steak medium but it was raw, the did grilled mark and send it right out. I complain and ask what temp was that and server said that was medium, I asked how they don't know difference or if they supposed to used thermometer all she said was that mistake happened. Didn't take any ownership. What really pissed me off was that she changed the table with another server it really make us feel like we were doing something wrong. Recently went back to Longhorn after an almost 3 year absence due to covid. To say I was disappointed would be a vast understatement The service was not great with the exception of the Hostess who was excellent. The steak was over seasoned and tough to eat and the parmasean Chicken was too heavily topped with the parm topping, even though we ordered it light topping. Had a fine dinner experience Wed 6/12/24, my first visit to the area. Filet, fluffy baked potato, broccoli, and mushrooms were all prepared perfectly. Bartender Christina was completely professional and efficient handling a full bar, and a cordial manager kept making the rounds greeting customers. I love Longhorn Steakhouse. I normally go to this one because it's convenient. The steaks melt in your mouth and are full of flavor. I love the steak tips with sweet potato and side salad. During Covid I either do takeout or sit at the end of bar. They do practice safe measures for COVID-19 wearing masks, social distancing. We love the longhorn and we go about 6-7 times a year but the last experience wasn't the greatest and we hadn't come back in some time.. but I missed their steaks so we decided to give it a shot & so happy we did! the manager who was up front with his hostess while we were waiting to be seated struck up conversation with us and talked about how grateful he was to have this job and able to stay working during Covid, he was just a genuinely nice man. We visited the Longhorn this weekend. I had been longing for this visit all week. The visit did not disappoint. Our waitress Kristen was a delight! When asked for her opinion she suggested the Longhorn porterhouse! She knocked the suggestion OUT OF THE PARK! This was by far the most delicious steak I have ever had. I always enjoy going to LongHorn Steakhouse. It's a nice chain with consistent food. This location is exactly what I was hoping for. Granted, we went on a weekday evening so it wasn't very busy, I can only imagine how crowded it can get on the weekend. We were seated immediately, service was prompt, our waitress was super friendly, apps, drinks and food were all timely. My boyfriend and I tend to have bad luck at steak houses when it comes to the cooking of our meat. Just something we expect now. However, the chefs prepared our steaks perfectly. Food is wayyyyyy overpriced and the portion sizes are terrible for what you get. I took my dad there on Christ as Eve and we both ordered 12 oz. rib eyes steaks for $29.00 each. They advertise this as their best, most juicy steak on the menu. Dad and I were like "why not." We order and get a thin, steak 30% fat and after cutting off the fat we had essentially a hamburger. The quality of the meat was embarrassing. I could have bought a $6.00 steak at Market Basket that wound have been better. Okay, it's a Monday night 6 pm in New Hampshire. Not exactly the most hopping dining period of the week. So, upon going with my elderly parents to this Longhorn, naturally the hostess would want to sit us in the bar. (I already have to endure, "what did she say?" 20 times a day when there is no background noise!) When asked if there was something else available in the dining room, the hostess leads us, hobbling parents and all, to the furthest table in the restaurant - in the corner next to the bathrooms. Did I mention that we passed about twenty other empty tables on the way? When I asked about the choices...the bar or the table closest to the bathroom, all I got was a terse "that section is closed...that server has gone home." Well, that makes sense...it was after 6..... Now, do I blame to hostess, or do I blame the manager for instructing her to only seat customers along the wall, next to the bathroom and kitchen. Perhaps they thought my parents had a bladder issue, and it would be convenient if they were next to the bathroom? I would like to think that they were being considerate, but combined with a dirty mop smell upon entering the restaurant and smelling it everywhere, it is clear that this place is not being run with the customer's satisfaction in mind. If it wasn't for the fact that it would have been a major production to get back into the car and decide on a new place, I would have been out of there as quickly as you can say "yee-haw!" We go there fairly regularly, but the place is so popular that sometimes the wait can be an hour to an hour and a half. We don't usually wait quite that long, but it's not a deterrent to us going back another time to have a decent steak dinner. Not a huge fan of chain restaurants, and the last time we came here we were ignored for 15 minutes after being seated, but my husband won a gift card @ work and we had a coupon, so we went back. The service was good but my Caesar salad was drowning in dressing and much of the lettuce was pale w/brown edges; not very appetizing. It looked like it had been prepared ahead of time and stored in the fridge. I ate about a third of it and pushed it to the edge of the table. Also, they have become more stingy with the bread. My bacon wrapped sirloin, however, was excellent; very tender and cooked perfectly (med rare). The Mac and cheese is very tasty too. My wife and I eat at the Longhorn restaurant on Amherst every couple of weeks. It has become our local favorite for an evening meal out. The prices are reasonable, the atmosphere is nice (not loud), the food is well-prepared and tasty, and the service is quick and friendly. What more could you ask? My favorite entrees are the prime rib and Parmesan chicken. My wife really enjoys the fried green tomatoes. read more

Although the bill was over $100 for 3 of to have some of the best sandwiches, apps, and drinks. Had we had just sandwiches it would have been much more reasonable. Overall a great read more
