We ordered 2 Philly cheese steaks... both turned into regular sandwiches with lettuce, tomatoes, mayo and also.... no cheese. I had to eat it as a flat bread because luckily, only one side had mayo, tomatoes and lettuce. In addition, the pickup area was dirty. No plastic bags to carry your food. I was very disappointed with the amount of french fries that they provided for the price that I paid. In the picture shown this was a separate order of fries that they included with my sandwich. I paid close to $4.00 dollars for the amount of fries and when I tried to solve this issue, I spoke to someone, they were very rude. I asked for a supervisor and the same person said that they were the general manager. The person made me wait behind customers who were ordering when I was holding cooked food and he wasn't willing to solve the issue. When I asked for his name, he told me, "don't worry about it." I was in total shock and I told him that I would leave a review about my experience. The customer service here was terrible. I was very disappointed and I didn't want to waste more time arguing with this person, so I decided to leave this review. This is the type of people who work for the business and I'm not lying. Who knows how they handle the cleanliness and sanitation of the food with this employee. read more

I had their Philly Cheese Steak (Steak) at their Santa Anita Mall in Arcadia, CA location and it tasted horrible. I am from Philadelphia, and it is nowhere close to the real Philly Cheese Steak. We ordered a buffalo chicken sandwich and a philly jalapeño cheesesteak for $7.29 each. I devoured my jalapeño cheesesteak, it was delicious! It was made to order which was even better. You can smell all the spices they used when they brought out our order. My only criticism would have to be that I wish the jalapeños were embedded and cooked in with the cheese. It would've tasted better. The employees were friendly and our order came out fairly quick! Unbeknownst to me, there is a Charley's Philly Steaks in Rancho! There is never anything wrong with having a good Philly Cheese Steak! I was able to phone order so that my order would be ready when I arrived. The gentlemen who answered my phone call and took my order was awesome. The only thing keeping them from a 5th star was that I asked for no mushrooms on my Philly and they labeled the box "no mushroom" to identify it, but as I was halfway through this sucker I found mushrooms in it . My wife ended up with the mushrooms free Philly. I will definitely be back for more as I will chalk this up as an honest mistake, it happens. Terrible!!!! I've been craving a cheesesteak for the past few days, so finally my husband went to go grab it for me. When her got back, the cheesesteak looked so dry. They whole sandwich was dry, thank God I didn't get lettuce this time! I would have choked! Why cheese was only on ONE half of the sandwich I'll never know! It was embarrassing because I was sharing it with my sister so we just shared the half that had cheese, so that was 3 bites each.... very little onions/peppers. My Husband loves Philly cheesesteaks and I thought this would be a good place to try I never been to this place before. When we got on line it had advertising for $5 off if you download their app today! Well I did download the app and provided to the cashier who was extremely rude by the way, They claim it takes awhile to add so could not use $5 today. So for me it's the principle of the service. I asked for a manager and he stated couldn't honor because we have to wait for the app. Unbelievable!!! I was walking through the food court at Victoria Gardens a few weeks ago and was offered a sample of Charlie's Philly Steak. I never tried it before and was very impressed. Today I decided to try a sandwich, I was very impressed. The young lady at the register, Layla, was very pleasant, smiling, and friendly. My daughter couldn't decide what she wanted but Layla was very patient. The young man making the sandwiches, I believe I heard them calling him Thomas, was also very friendly and topped my sandwich just right. The sandwich (Prime Jalapeno Steak) was delicious, especially with the freshly fried onions. The fries were nice and crisp on the outside just like they're supposed to be. All I can say is Bravo Victoria Gardens. Bravo. I am angry, however, as now I only want to dine here. So when we walk across the street as a family, the inevitable fight starts as Monica wants more of a sit-down location, where we can enjoy a glass of wine or cocktail.
