Placed an order for pickup on my lunch break. I requested a little cheeseburger and a little order of fries. App asked me to "let them know when I was on my way" so I did. Took me 10 minutes from ordering to get there. My burger was ready but they hadn't cooked my fries. So I waited for my fry order for several minutes while eating away at my short 30min lunch break. I drive back to work, and as I opened my burger order I realized it had two patty's on it! The lower bun was as thin as thin could be, and super soggy therefore not supporting the two patties! What a darn mess trying to eat in my car. While the fries were hot and fresh, I was so disappointed by the amount of salt that was as used for my order! Blech! I love salt and am known to salt everything, but this was just at beyond ok for a normal fry order. It's so hard to justify paying nearly $20 for garbage and a wrong order especially considering they weren't busy at 1:30pm. Thursday, I will need the five guys for the first time. I have never been into a five guys and I was greeted warmly and a young man was very warm and very Portugal. I had ordered my food online and was there to pick it up. The fries were not all the way cooked. I got the Cajun fried and they were falling apart and installed very salted over salted and because I catch the bus I had to run over path target to grab the bus on foothill. By time I got to foothill in Grove on the bus, the fries were completely soggy. The burger was so greasy that the bun was a soggy mess and the grape was bleeding through the back by time I got halfway down Grove. The bag was so greasy that it pour in all of the contents came out of the bag, including the ketchup which I stepped on in destroy destroyed pair of shoes! That was a horrible, horrible, horrible, horrible, horrible person impression of five guys! The young African-American guy, light skin guy with a long hair at the front was amazing and that was the best part of five guys. We went earlier than most people around 5pm. It wasn't crowded, it was our first time. Got there, asked the cashier a few questions on how to order, really helpful and patient guy. We ordered a cheese burger and a bacon cheese burger. You can add all the toppings at no extra charge, and get Extra toppings if needed, again at no extra charge. I added extra onion and mushroom. Decides to add a drink and Oreo cookie shake. It was on the sweeter side. Wife got the cheese burger and added everything as well but removed the onion. Got a side of Cajun fries, and man, they Load the bag with fries haha. Regular fries = half a paper bag full of fries! Crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. Good seasoning. It was my first time, I suggest going earlier than later, by the time we were done the place was packed. Got our order within 10 minutes before it was packed. The quality is a lot better than your fast food restaurant, the meat was soft and juicey. The extra toppings are a plus. The food is very normal, for me what you get is not what you would expect for a burger that price, the fries are the only ones that are worth it and they don't even serve the same amount as they used to. The service is ok and the ambiance its also alright, nothing crazy.
