My wife and I actually enjoyed Roll Em Up Taquitos -- and honestly, I was a little surprised. I've seen a lot of reviews saying it's not as good as other spots, but let's be real for a second... a lot of Mexican restaurants that sell taquitos are using frozen products from vendors and just frying them. So if we're comparing fairly, this tasted more flavorful and better executed than the typical frozen taquitos you'd grab from the freezer aisle or from places that clearly just fry and plate. What stood out to me was the flavor. The seasoning was there. It didn't taste bland or generic. And I appreciate that they offer two tortilla options: corn or flour. If you order flour, just know it's not going to be super hard and crunchy like traditional rolled corn taquitos. And I think that's where some people get confused. It's softer, and that's what you would expect. I honestly think the restaurant just needs better advertising or clearer descriptions on what to expect. Manage expectations and people might enjoy it more. And let's talk value. $13 for a 3-taquito plate that comes with rice, beans, and a drink? In today's economy? That's hard to beat. Was it the best taquito I've ever had? No. Was it flavorful, satisfying, and worth the price? Absolutely. We'd come back.

Today rollem up redeemed themselves because last week was the worst experience here with there sanitation and 30 min wait I was done but Irene/Ilene not sure how to spell it but she was super sweet helpful and had food out fast and fresh.

For a chain fast food place, this is quite good. We ordered: - 4 pack (2 shredded beef, 2 chicken in a corn tortilla) - corn in a cup - churro donut we got the taquitos loaded with everything and mild. the taquitos were not dry. the tortilla was crunchy and the flavor was good. the meal did not feel heavy. the 4 pack is a good sharing portion. the corn in a cup we got it loaded with hot cheetos and cheese. it was delicious. exactly what you would think corn in a cup would be. the churro donut was very sweet and soft. if you like super sweet things, this is the right treat for you. i did like the taste but i am not a sweets person. my bf ate the whole thing tho. overall, this is a good place for a quick meal. i did not have high expectations because this is a chain but i didn't leave disappointed. would come here again.

Roll-em-up Taquitos chicken and beef

My food was prepared quickly and it was delicious as well as aesthetically pleasing. So I was curious to compare the chicken taquitos sold at the Cluck-N-Pollo , with the chicken taquitos, they sell here. I grabbed an order of 3 taquitos at each place. To start the price was about $2 less at rollemup and the taquitos were larger. The cluck taquitos had more of a shredded chicken flavor and the overall size of the order was smaller compared to Rollemup. I think the best way to describe the difference in the taquitos is with rollers it's like going to a fair and they have different sauces and the taquitos are super crunchy and pretty compared to more of a homemade taquito w Pico de gallo salsa at Cluck. Two completely different experiences. It's really hard to compare the 2. The lettuce and cheese seemed fresher at rollemup, definatly a lot nicer presentation on the food and they have a lot more food options and combinations.

These are the tacos that they gave me very poor quality and not authentic at all

I ordered tacos from Roll 'Em Up Taquitos because the photos looked amazing and authentic. Unfortunately, when I got them, they were a big disappointment. The shells didn't have that homemade, crispy texture I expected. Instead, they were more like pre-processed shells, similar to what you'd find at a chain like Taco Bell. I felt this was really misleading based on their advertising, so I just wanted to share my experience so others know what to expect." As for my experience with the staff. I was help by a Hispanic guy with curly black hair and glasses on 06/26/26 at 4:25 pm. As he called me over to pick up my food I checked it before I left to see if the order was correct. Everything was correct besides the quality. As I made a comment about the taco shells I asked if it was fried. He then said yes it's fried and pointed to their deep fryer. I made a second comment stating " okay I only ask because they look very similar to Taco Bell taco shells" after he laughed at me and said " bro the fryer is literally right there" (with a sarcastic tone.) I just said okay thank you. Honestly at that point I made my decision not to come back I was not rude or with my tone. Don't know where is attitude came from.

We were the only ones in the restaurant and took over 25 min to get our food. Food was okay

I thought I'd already reviewed Roll 'Em Up! We love this place and had been anxiously awaiting its opening. It's a great place to stop for a quick bite after church. Service is always fantastic and cheerful. We always get our orders very quickly as well. The place is clean and simple and always playing amazing music! There's seating inside and outside as well. The taquitos are good size and have a fantastic crunch. I haven't tried them all, but my favorites are the potato and chicken. I've tried their "lit" sauce and it is spicy, but not over the top. Their sides are good as well, but I also like there's the option to upgrade your sides to their churro donuts, corn or chips and queso. If you haven't tried this place, you need to put it on your list for sure!

I was really looking forward to my meal, but my order arrived missing an item I paid for. The rest of the food was decent, but it's frustrating not to receive a complete order.

I would definitely go back for their chips and salsa probably would never order taquito again. I was driving by, going to pick up another fast food, but I was intrigued by the sign. I love taquitos, so I thought it would be a great place to try. Unfortunately the taquitos themselves are not that good. He said chicken is the best, I got chicken, but they're super soggy not really filled with much meat and they're not crispy like how it should be. The worker was super nice. I don't think it's their fault. They just reheat the taquitos from their freezer. The best thing about food is homemade salsa.

4 taquito combo with beans, rice and a drink

Just what I was expecting. I've seen these on social media and in areas far from my neighborhood at times I couldn't stop to eat. I found myself near this location right at dinner time and decided it was time! They offer a build your own type of menu so you choose corn or flour tortilla and which meat and toppings. It's a limited menu, but the combinations you can make allow for a good variety and they make it quick and cheap. It's fast food, but in a unique lane. A combo with 4 taquitos, rice, beans and a drink was just right for a hungry eater. The potato lacked a little flavor for me, but the chicken and beef fillings were great. Flour and corn shells both had good texture and flavor. The rice was like a "dirty rice" with good spice. Beans were good too with a little stank on them. The "lit" salsa was good and had a nice heat to it. The Churro doughnut didn't disappoint for dessert! It was sweet and flavorful with a drizzle of dulce de leche.

For a year I've had this place on my list to try. My husband doesn't like when he try knew places when he's really hungry, fearing he would be disappointed and still hungry after. Well we walked in and the place was pretty empty, usually that's not a good sign. We ordered our food and waited. We read the history statement on the wall. It was a bit confusing that I had to read it a couple of times. The all caps "blasting reggae" was throwing me way off. We're finally got our food. Man those taquitos looked messy. But oh boy they were so good. Freshly cooked and with all that tasty mess on they brought all the flavors together perfectly. Next was the rice, perfectly made and flavored. But those beans...... honey boo-boo those beans were fire. I really don't eat beans but darn these beans were sooo good. I would have never thought to put cilantro in my beans. It brought a whole new party to my tastebuds. Now the final test. I asked my husband how was the food. He said it was really good, that I did good picking this place, he It's willing to come back again and try other items. We're in our 50s we grew up in LA. As a lil girl my nana would take me to Cielito Lindo at olvera st a lot. Since moving to the IE 8 years ago I've only gone there 3 times. No one anywhere comes close to Cielito Lindo. You guys have put such a great tasteful spin on taquitos you have officially received my BOMBSKIES stamp. You will be the only taquito place I go to out here in the IE. Also when I got home I had to know why the reggae music was amplified in your statement. I read an article I guess you did with a radio station. And now it all makes sense. Keep up the great work, man Karen would be proud. We will definitely be back.

I ordered a few platters including the taco and the loaded nachos. The price is fairly generous, probably closer to what you might get at a takeout than a traditional sit down restaurant. There's actually a lot of seating available whether inside or outside. The staff was all pretty nice and welcoming as well. If I asked for anything like extra plates or utensils, they usually greeted me with a smile. As for the cuisine, it was okay. I think it is suited for a particular taste. Most of the meat we ordered was well done. Well done but not overly dry. More like a crunchy texture. That was true of the asada, carnita, and chicken. If you are used to your meat a little bit more rare or juicy, then this style may not be for you. I thought it was fine but it just depends on your taste buds. I really wanted to give the place 4-stars or even 5. The staff was good, food was fine, and prices all affordable but the place had one problem. Initially, I wanted to eat outside and enjoy some summer breeze with my family. However, there were too many flies attracted to our meal. I was not sure whether it was due to this restaurant or its neighbors. Unfortunately, the flies followed us inside during our meal as well. It may be a non-issue in the colder months but it was a noticeable nuisance during our meal.

Our hostess was kind and checked in on my reservation. The food was a mixed bag - the house sauce was a bit bland, but the habanero sauce was delicious, with just the right balance of tanginess and heat. My friend ordered a plate of nachos for the table, which came with chicken that, oddly, didn't taste like chicken. It was almost as if it had been cooked in the same area as the fish, but it was still edible. Our server, Priscilla, was very attentive, checking in frequently and keeping the good beers flowing, even on a busy game night. The carnitas were good, but we'll try something else next time. The way it was going to be prepared was with spring mix, which I don't prefer. I asked for a spicy skinny margarita, and they were able to accommodate me for that as well! Yummy! I feel like it could easily be fixed with an investment in better lighting outdoors.
