The food at this taquito spot is good, and I liked what I ordered. But the experience wasn't great. When I asked a question about the menu, the staff were pretty rude and accused me of trying to get free stuff or something i'm not sure, then ended up cussing me out and telling me to leave. So I decided to try them after driving by so many times I order the Bomb AF Nachos carne asada..it was more like boiled beef..and cheap meat..the nacho chips where all in pieces like someone crushed them on purpose..no condiments on them.just the beef some kind of green sauce that was just put on one side not even on top of them.. cheese and cream. So if we're comparing fairly, this tasted more flavorful and better executed than the typical frozen taquitos you'd grab from the freezer aisle or from places that clearly just fry and plate. If you order flour, just know it's not going to be super hard and crunchy like traditional rolled corn taquitos. And I think that's where some people get confused. When Roll Em Up first opened I couldn't get enough.. the taquitos were fresh, rice, beans, guacamole, chips and queso delicious. Unfortunately, the last few visits were disappointing..the customer service is pretty much non existent.. walked in no staff in site..after standing at the counter for sometime someone finally appears to take the order ( this has happened a few times) As more customers come in and orders are placed suddenly more staff appear from the back? My food was prepared quickly and it was delicious as well as aesthetically pleasing. So I was curious to compare the chicken taquitos sold at the Cluck-N-Pollo , with the chicken taquitos, they sell here. I grabbed an order of 3 taquitos at each place. To start the price was about $2 less at rollemup and the taquitos were larger. The cluck taquitos had more of a shredded chicken flavor and the overall size of the order was smaller compared to Rollemup. I think the best way to describe the difference in the taquitos is with rollers it's like going to a fair and they have different sauces and the taquitos are super crunchy and pretty compared to more of a homemade taquito w Pico de gallo salsa at Cluck. Two completely different experiences. It's really hard to compare the 2. The potato taquitos were indeed a bit spicy so if you want a kick there it is. My daughter and I went inside this afternoon. There was somebody on their break, which was fine, but there was nobody behind the counter. We waited and waited and waited. No one ever came to take our order. The person that was on the break never acknowledged us. Never asked somebody to help us just sat there so we left. I thought I'd already reviewed Roll 'Em Up! We love this place and had been anxiously awaiting its opening. It's a great place to stop for a quick bite after church. Service is always fantastic and cheerful. We always get our orders very quickly as well. The place is clean and simple and always playing amazing music! There's seating inside and outside as well. The taquitos are good size and have a fantastic crunch. I haven't tried them all, but my favorites are the potato and chicken. I've tried their "lit" sauce and it is spicy, but not over the top. Their sides are good as well, but I also like there's the option to upgrade your sides to their churro donuts, corn or chips and queso. For a year I've had this place on my list to try. My husband doesn't like when he try knew places when he's really hungry, fearing he would be disappointed and still hungry after. But those beans...... honey boo-boo those beans were fire. I really don't eat beans but darn these beans were sooo good. I would have never thought to put cilantro in my beans. It brought a whole new party to my tastebuds. Now the final test. I asked my husband how was the food. He said it was really good, that I did good picking this place, he It's willing to come back again and try other items. We're in our 50s we grew up in LA. I like getting their potato, chicken, and beef taquitos with guac. They are always served super fresh. It's probably one of, if not the best taquito I've had. The nachos are also a favorite. I think the restaurant is very spacious and is a comfortable, clean place to eat. The reason we stopped going out to the Rialto location was due to them constantly screwing up our order, and it seems to have creeped in to this new location in Rancho too. If you have no sense of pride in accuracy, and you rely on your customers to do quality control for you, and be the ones to come back up to the counter and get a refire, it's not worth spending nearly $60 for my family of 4 to come. 2 out of 3 times we have come here something has been wrong with either the tortilla, filling or sauces. The only time it was right was during the soft opening, when they must have been watching the crew like a hawk to train them. After that it dissolved into apathy city. Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me. We love Roll em up and were huge cheerleaders for them coming to Rancho, but not when I have to literally cut open every taquito in my order and have the high possibility of having some thing wrong. Then the whole family has to sit there and wait so we can eat together? It's just not worth it for me, and this is why we stopped making the drive to Rialto. When the order is correct, I love the food, but if you can't handle 2 different tortillas and 5 different fillings and 4 different toppings, and getting all of those combinations correct on every order, at multiple locations, maybe you need to look at your training or simplifying your menu. Well, this was my second time eating at this location! Was fully satisfied both times. I remember getting the 3 taquito combo on both occasions. The first time a couple weeks ago I ordered some for takeout for my daughter and me to eat lunch outside of her work. We were both very happy with our order from here! The service here both times was very good, it was a male up front the first visit and a lady the 2nd time. Really nice and helpful people! I love the vibe of this restaurant and also appreciate the empty chair left for the original founder that passed on and the story. This restaurant is very clean. The second order, I came here a few days ago with my awesome friend Diana before she dropped me off at Ontario Airport. We had a great lunch together. We both got the 3 corn taquitos...1 potato, 1 beef, and 1 chicken. Super yummy and we like how they are fully loaded with guacamole, sour cream, and the house sauce! Service has always been good, We actually enjoyed our food and hadn't encountered any issues until the other day. When ordering we were informed that they were out of their sauce that they drizzle over the loaded taquitos. No biggie but I think they should've offered an alternative sauce as substitution. The beans on this particular day were still a tad undercooked as I had quite a few that were a little on the hard side, the flavor was there just not the soft texture.
