This store is located on a very busy corner, given that the transportation hub for the rail as well as buses are just block down south. I can only imagine what the traffic here must be in the mornings on a weekend. Typical convenience store with lots of cold drink options, snacks, and slurpees. The one thing I didn't like were the substantial number of homeless and crackheads hanging out in front of the entryway. However, given it was a holiday weekend, Long Beach PD were not messing around. They were out in full force: foot, autos, bicycles, and even on little carts manning the blocks around the shoreline. They took care of one obviously mentally disturbed since he was yelling at passerby and being hostile. Lines here get long so be prepared to wait.

It's small but they have snacks, water, refrigerated beverages. I picked up a Gatorade for hydration and drank it on my walk to the entrance. If you stop in here, be sure to continue walking through the apartment complex, down the stairs and you'll see signs directing you to Warped Tour. Sunshine is a life saver because if I didn't get the Gatorade I would've walked in with no electrolyte drink in my system and it was VERY hot that day. Cost was $3 and inside Warped Tour for a Ghost electrolyte drink I think it was $7 and much smaller.

First time coming here. Was craving tamales, and found this place via maps. We called around 4PM…read moreasking if they still had tamales for sale and they said yes and we quickly drove over. The two employees were extremely welcoming, the market was well organized and clean. The woman helped us with our order. They offered: Cheese w/ Jalapeño, green sauce w/ chicken, red sauce with pork, mole, corn - I asked if they had beef and she didn't offer this. She packed all the tamales neatly added napkins, plates, forks and a generous amount of salsa. The kitchen area was extremely clean. Tamales were warm, delicious, not greasy and not dry. She also mentioned that they offer breakfast burritos, champurrado, juices and more in the mornings at 6AM. The gentleman was kind enough and shared all the other items they have, including fresh handmade tortillas which he had us sample. Definitely will be back to try the other items on the menu and to support such a lovely and welcoming staff.

Almost all of the staff is nice, especially the women, but my favorite staff member is Rolando. He's been working there for a long time and he always remembers me, remembers the kind of work I do and asks how I am. He's always very nice to customers and patient, even with the tweakers. When they come in tripping, he's still kind and patient with them, which says a lot. They tend to have pretty good sales on all the snacks inside, like king sized candy 2/$6.00 and Celsius energy drinks, buy two get one free and they're originally 2/$7.00. They also put different snacks on a cart by the register each day, that have an even better sale going on. Today they had beef jerky sticks on sale. On top of this, you can also sign up for Mobil rewards, which gets you extra money off of gas and they also give you a $.10 off per gallon discount card that you can add on top of whatever else you may be saving. The $.10 off discount card is good for about six months and is very helpful in saving money at the pump. They're accepted at all Mobil Circle K's and they freely give them out at the register. Just ask! They'll also give you some to give others. The only downside I've found is when you stop in to get gas, but the door is locked. They're usually on a quick bathroom break or a regular break. You can still get gas outside at the pump, if you don't want to wait. Otherwise you can wait for them to open the door. I don't get upset about their breaks, because it only happens when someone is alone in there and plus, they're entitled to take a break, damn. I've seen some people get all mad and I look at them like they're stupid...like don't you take a break at work, especially if you're on your feet all day?
