Mike responded to our call within 15 minutes and arrived at our home in about 30 minutes. Mike and his crew were incredibly professional, experienced, and efficient. They knew exactly what needed to be done and completed all of the repairs within just two hours. What really impressed us was that Mike went above and beyond by coordinating directly with the utility company's inspector and arranging an after-hours inspection so our power could be restored the very same day. This was an incredibly stressful situation, and Mike made the entire process as smooth and worry-free as possible. If you need an honest, knowledgeable, and reliable electrician--especially in an emergency--don't waste your time or money calling anyone else. Call KO Electric. They truly provide outstanding!!

Harts arrived to diagnose a clogged kitchen sink drain. After snaking and scoping the drain line,…read morethe technician said our only option was to replace the drain line because it's old, galvanized pipe that poses a risk of rupture if they performed hydro-jetting. Accessing the drain line for replacement would require cutting into the ceiling of the bedroom below the kitchen sink. I discussed asbestos testing with technician because our home was built in 1967. Harts said they have a preferred vendor they use for asbestos testing and abatement, but that vendor did not contact us for two days. This is the point where Harts no longer tried to work towards a resolution. Wanting to get the use of our kitchen back, we hired another company to perform testing which did come back as positive for asbestos. We contacted a different plumbing company who put us in touch with their abatement vendor and the work was quoted and performed quickly. Testing and abatement cost us $2,441.60. Upon completion of the abatement, with the ceiling opened and the drain visible, it was obvious that it was not galvanized pipe, rather ABS plastic. The new plumbing company performed the hydro-jetting in about an hour at the cost of $2,110.57. The repair of our ceiling still needs to be completed and have been quoted upwards of $5,000 for that work. I have called Harts on multiple occasions over the last week in attempt to speak with someone about their diagnosis error. On 7/14/26, I finally received a call from a manager who watched the scope video and said he cannot even see the pipe material because it was so clogged. I asked why their technician would say it's galvanized pipe if the material is not even visible and he could not answer that question. He told me that he would have a conversation with the technician and get back to me this morning, but I have not received a call. We've given Harts ample time to respond and make this right.

Each time, the technician listened to the problems we were experiencing, correctly diagnosed the problem and repaired the unit. This last time, the technician was able to assure me there was no leakage problem and the alarm was an error. He did a through investigation. I have been very satisfied with the communication. Too often, a service provider is unwilling to take the time to talk to the customer (especially if the customer is a woman). We have purchased a Priority Plus membership because I anticipate on-going problems with this water heater. I trust the technicians who have provided services. Several services are available at a discount with the membership and I plan to use them.

The "free" appointment that I pay for every month is only for the once a year visit by the "maintenance and safety technician" and because I simply said I don't think t's working quite like it should" now I have to pay $100+ for this visit. I recommend them…read morewithout hesitation for their talented people, can-do attitude, professionalism, a successful outcome, and a great customer experience!! The backstory: my family and I were in Alaska when the PNW had a big freeze and our pool heat pump condenser and above ground pipes froze and burst. No one was able to come to our home for a couple weeks due to all the other customer priorities dealing with the aftermath of the storm. I completely get it...a pool is not a priority when others are without heat. So our son purchased and installed a new condenser to get the pool water flowing to avoid frozen water in the pool cracking our pool walls and creating a much bigger problem! Our next challenge was to find a way to purchase and install a highly regulated refrigerant requiring a license and special tools. We soon learned that DIYing the refrigerant to get the heat pump working was not possible. For over three years I called different service companies asking for help - pool service companies such as Aquaquip who originally sold and installed the unit, and AquaCal; a different AquaCal, the manufacturer of the pool heat pump; other dozens of other HVAC contractors too numerous to mention except I will mention my serious disappointment with South Sound Plumbing with whom we spend a lot of money annually to service our other home heat pumps. After 30 different phone calls none would help us. "Too risky they" said, "wouldn't be able to warranty the work" said others. The truth? Our problem was simply too small a job or didn't fit their known expertise. Northwest was willing to help (BTW they showed up on the top of a list of HVAC contractors during my ChatGPT co-thinking session). I'm so grateful to Darlene (who took my call and listened with compassion to my unusual problem. I'm grateful to Zane, Northwest's Service Manager, who spent time deeply listening, brainstorming an approach, and getting someone out to our home. Finally, heartfelt kudos to Nate, our HVAC tech wizard, who successfully got our pool heat pump heating water! Yahoo! If you've got an HVAC challenge that doesn't fit neatly into your current HVAC service company's service menu or you want to partner with a company who really cares about delivering value and a great customer experience, I highly recommend Northwest Expert Heating, Cooling, and Electrical!

I feel like I've been a vicitim of a very elaborate bait and switch (combined with the fact that I stupidly decided to do a five-year membership to service our system at no cost so now I'm tied to them). This was THEIR error, not discovered at install or six months, and now I'm out $1500. They never acknowledged their install error. To boot, their GM basically harassed me on text, super unprofessional, berating my husband for hanging up on him after he completely ignored my information on text. He mentioned he would share our text thread on reviews. Cool. Question if it is all there if they do post. Buyer BEWARE. Don't let the sell job catch you...they're slick on the sell and absent on accountability. :-( UPDATE: Another company identified a different problem as the culprit, and identified installation flaws from this company. Please don't use them. They cut corners and are now costing us thousands. This company sold out in October 2025 and it shows. Buyer beware.
