For example, it's been a dog age since I've had one of their chocolate shakes, which used to be made with Häagen-Dazs ice cream. When I asked the cashier if it's still made with Häagen-Dazs, she wasn't sure and neither was one of the other people who works there. I'm guessing Häagen-Dazs is out which is quite unfortunate. So this shake tasted very syrupy. I guess it's now vanilla ice cream with lots of chocolate syrup. Like I said, unfortunate change. As far as the burger, it was delicious and quite hearty. The little burger is really big so if you don't have a big appetite, go with the little burger. In fact, even if you have a moderately big appetite, you might be satisfied with the little burger The french fries were a total disappointment today. They were soggy and greasy. Not at all what I'm used to from five guys. It must've just been an off night. Will these changes keep me away from five guys? No. I still like the burger and I think the staff is always very friendly.

Suffice it to say it was not much. It's not her fault. $11 for a burrito?! I don't think I'll be back anytime soon. If you've got a group or a family, the ambience is good for that lots of tables open spaces and if you have no food, allergies, you can build one heck of a burrito, I guess Five stars for the service and a combination of two and three stars for the pricing.

But today…read morethey had a BOGO for the chicken bowl or burrito and I had errands nearby, so I gave it a shot. For $6.50 a bowl, the food is acceptable. To use a modern colloquialism: it's very mid. I liked the pineapple salsa. The chicken is okay, the chunks are decent sized. Portion however is a joke. The main issue is that there is NO WAY I would ever pay regular price for this. $13 each for this is outrageous. And that's without chips and guac. That would put it over $20 Last week Salsa Fresca had a similar deal and the food is better, the helpings are bigger, and they give you chips and salsa. No such courtesy here! You would need to fork over $4 more for that! In my opinion, this place isn't worth it. I'm half expecting a response to this from the owner in an attempt placate me with phoney customer service to look like they care, but the best way to do that is reevaluate your prices and stop trying to squeeze every dollar you can from your customers. And give us chips like your competitors! But I know you won't. In fact you'll probably end up raising prices. Peace out

I mentioned this cute little town because it's just one of the little niches along the Hudson river that makes a perfect little day trip. FIRST IMPRESSIONS: really quaint storefront, and first impression.Enter through the cafe door which also functions as a retail shop for handmade objects like soaps, etc. The gifts have an upscale vibe-worth a trip back. We had about 15 minutes to kill before attending a Yelp event across The Street so we opted to take the chill off by purchasing a hot beverage at Norma's. The staff is pretty laid-back, friendly, but laid-back. If you're in a hurry, I'm not sure if this would work. The hot and cold beverages are very straightforward and you can get some vegan options here. There were two behind the counter, but I felt they were a little engaged in their personal banter and we're not that attentive. Not a real sense of urgency or purpose. I'm sorry if that sounds harsh but once they did give us their full attention, we let them know that we were waiting for an event across the street and didn't have a lot of time. They asked us if we'd like to sit down with our beverage and we opted to do so since it was pretty cold outside. We ordered two hot chocolate And two homemade biscuits. They gave us a table number stanchion for the table and let us know they would be bringing it to us. We did not need to wait. We took the three steps down to the main dining area, where we were pleasantly surprised that they were having a live event - in this case it was a storytelling event. There was a table available for the two of us so we sat down and quickly realized that the table was so off-balance that it post a potential safety hazard. When I placed my hot chocolate down and rested my wrist, the entire table tilted forward toward me. This is an easy thing to fix, but my guess is that it's been this way for a really long time. That's unfortunate. All that aside, the room was really cozy and had a lot of character - lots of two top and four top tables to provide a very intimate setting with each one having a good view of the small stage Minutes went by and there was no biscuit delivered. More minutes went by and we began to wonder if they had forgotten. I guess is that they weren't making the biscuits from scratch so most likely they did forget. Since we had already paid for everything with a pretty generous tip, we waited a a few more minutes. Time ran out when we noticed that the event attendees were lining up across the street. That's something we could see from the really great big windows that faced Main Street. Reluctantly, my sister and I got up from the table and headed to the counter where we had made the order. We let them know that we needed to go and asked if the biscuits were ready. They seemed perplexed at first and then a lightbulb moment. Yes. I suspect they did forget the order. I wouldn't bother so much but two biscuits and two hot chocolates. It was about $20 plus tip so when they recognized that the biscuits were still missing, they asked if we would like to take them to go. The lack of awareness was disappointing because they were clearly not busy with anything else A minute or two later, they emerged from the kitchen with a small bag, presumably containing the two biscuits. Service was definitely lacking, particularly for what is a bit of a higher priced venue. Maybe we caught them on an off night but my sense is that laid back attitude is built in to the business model. Would I return to Norma's? I'm not sure. The hot chocolate was good, not from a mix, but would it bring me back? I'll let you know.

One of the workers asked who we are picking up for and of course we told him. We were waiting and he just put the food on the counter without saying anything and it was not in a bag. So of course we didn't think it was ours. Plus the order was incomplete. We were in there for 45 minutes waiting on everything. Within that 45 minutes we were accused of stealing the food. We never once left the establishment since we had entered. The worker was adamant that he had given us the food when he in fact did not. He then pointed to the now cold food sitting waiting on the counter. We then informed him that the order is incomplete and we were never told anything. He claims that we never told him the order only the order number. THAT IS WHAT IS SUPPOSED TO BE DONE WHEN DOING UBER EATS FOR ANY ESTABLISHMENT! They had to make over the food and check that everything was there. After accusing us of stealing the food all they could say is "sorry". This place is trash! And it's workers know nothing of customer service skills. They were also in there cursing at each other's and throwing food items such as lettuce at each other. THIS IS AN ESTABLISHMENT NOT A PLAY GROUND!
