If I could rate this a ZERO, I would! If you're thinking of coming here, do yourself a favor and read this first. I genuinely wish someone had warned me the way I'm warning you now. My entire experience here felt like I accidentally walked into a shop where the staff genuinely believes they're celebrities doing us a favor by acknowledging our existence. The owner's daughter carries herself with this "I'm above everyone" attitude, yet somehow manages to be rude, dismissive, and completely uninterested in the wellbeing of the actual paying customers who keep her doors open. When I called about a problem with my piercing; a health-related issue, by the way, I was met with the same tone I've seen countless reviewers complain about. Dry. Irritated. Completely lacking any actual professionalism. It's almost impressive how consistently they deliver terrible customer service. At this point, it feels like their brand. And all of this would almost be funny if it wasn't related to something that could affect my health. But apparently, asking for basic aftercare guidance is too much for them. The girl who answered the phone (the same one who assisted during my piercing) couldn't have made it more obvious that she didn't care. The owner's daughter? Even worse. You'd think someone with that much attitude would at least pretend to be helpful. What really sealed it for me was looking back at other reviews. Customers describing rude service. Being rushed. Being ignored. Being spoken to with sarcasm. People calling out the same problems I experienced. And the owner's replies? Defensive, snappy, and condescending. So clearly, the issue isn't "a bad day." It's the culture of the place. I paid for a service that I now seriously regret, and I'm dealing with stress, health concerns, and 300$ lost, that could've been avoided if the staff here acted like professionals instead of people who think customer service is optional. Honestly, at this point, a refund feels like the bare minimum they could do after how I was treated--but based on the childish responses they leave on reviews, I'm not holding my breath. If you value your time, your health, your money, or even basic human respect, go literally anywhere else. This shop has made it clear that customer care is not part of what they offer.

Lobby, and stations always clean, love this place!

I placed my order Wednesday around 1230pm and received a call from Lenny within an hour. He said they didn't have all the stock on the goods but they were at another location. One of them, I knew about, which was fine. He said he would figure it out and ship what he had and I would get it the next day. Then, he said, he would work on the others. Within a day, I received the first package (Thursday). Then, the second package came the day after on Friday. Needless to say, I am very impressed with a company that would go above and beyond to help a hobbyist like me on a small order. Truly appreciate the hustle with this company and definitely recommend ordering from them. Also, they had great pricing and a large selection on Madeira thread, along with a pick up option to save on shipping. I will definitely be visiting their store some time soon. Buy with confidence from them! Thank you Lenny and McLogan Supply staff!

I can't believe I didn't know about this place already. It's beautiful!…read more Before visiting, I would recommend looking at their website first and having an idea of what you want to buy. It will make it easier to shop, trust me. They don't have a shop online and pick up system but they said you could order online and call them to let them know you want to pick it up in the store. Instant gratification without the shipping cost. I think personally I would rather make my own list and shop the items myself. Mostly because I may come across something I've never seen before and decide to get it. It's all part of the adventure. When you get there, you walk into an empty room but just let them know you're there to shop for markerpop and they'll let you into the back (basically what I imagine heaven looks like) They mentioned it was in the back because most of their business comes from their online shop. With that being said a lot of their product (stamps/dies) are faced barcode out which probably makes it easier for them to find however not incredibly convenient if you're a walk in customer. Personally, I didn't mind it but just something I noticed. You can find different stamp brands like Lawn fawn, my favorite things, mama elephant, waffle flower, hero arts, wplus9, and that's just the beginning. They also have a great collection of markers. I'm mostly focused on copics and zigs (plenty of stock at a great price) but they also have other brands. If you don't see what you're looking for just ask and someone will assist you. Every person I spoke to in there was extremely helpful and nice. There aren't a lot of craft shops in the area that carry this much variety of stamps so I'm really excited to have stumbled on this. I don't write many reviews but this shop deserves more credit which is why I decided to write about it. I wish I took pictures to post but I guess I'll do that next time :)

M.Lovewell is an independent stationery store located in Downtown Santa Ana near 4th Street Market…read moreand the shop hosts various creative workshops. This flagship brick-and-mortar location first opened in 2016 and M.Lovewell used to have a mini location inside Contra Coffee + Tea in Old Towne Orange (now closed). At the end of each July, the store offers Anniversary Weekend sales with an additional 20% off most items. [Parking]: There is a parking structure across the street for 4th Street Market. I had no issue finding free street parking in this part of town on Sunday afternoon. [Selection]: There was a tote-making station for a $25 DIY tote (choose a tote color and one patch, tell the staff where you want it, and the staff will iron it on for you) and Build a Washi Tin for $44 (limited-edition 10-year washi tin and choose eight washi tapes to fit inside the tin). I was quite impressed with the cute stationery selection including planners, pens (Tombow ABT PRO Alcohol Markers + Zebra's MILDLINER) from brands like Sarasa, Penco, Zebra, Mono, and Uni-ball, writing paper (MD Paper), cases and pouches from The Superior Labor, greeting cards, stickers, stamps, watercolor boards, Toyo toolboxes, etc. They even offer really fancy pens from brands like OHTO as well as $200+ fountain pens and inks for fountain pens. They have tester pens for customers to try out. On their website, customers can preorder The Hobonichi Techo for new releases for the upcoming year. [Conclusion]: Overall this shop focuses more on Japanese stationery brands (they do not sell MUJI here) and personally this is one of the best pure stationery shops in Orange County. I like this store much better than places like Shorthand, Baum-kuchen, or The Social Type in Los Angeles.

CUTE INDEPENDENT SHOP (4 stats)…read more There isn't much happening in downtown Santa Ana but there are a few hidden gems. Did I overhear that this place has been open for ~10 years?! I stumbled upon this shop while walking around the small downtown and as I walked more east I questioned should I turn around? Right when I was able to this store popped in view and I had to go in! What a cute shop if you are into stationary and pens and etc. I love supporting small independent businesses so I was determined to leave with something. There were a collective of independent products from different companies/artists that sell their items here. I didn't expect to leave spending $70.05 on 5 tiny items. WAX SEAL ($20) - by Made of Honour. There weee a handful of styles available. Very nice packaging. SEALING WAX BEADS 100pc ($9) - by Fiona Ariva. Variety of stunning colors. WAX SEAL HANDLE ($9) - by Fiona Ariva. I believe this is the standard size that fits other brands. BOAT PEN CASE ($13) - by Luddite. I been looking for a small compact pen case for my very few ones that i own and this was what I was looking for. ANTERIQUE BALLPOINT PEN ($13) - I love this mini pen and how it writes. The store DOES sell anterique refills BUT not the mini anterique refills that is needed for this pen. You can order the refills online on Amazon. So here's what gets me about shopping here. - California State Tax (0.5%) - Orange County Tax (0.25%) - Santa Ana City Tax (15%) - Orange County District Tax SP (0:5%) - Orange County Tax SL (1%) ^^ Added an additional $5.95 to the initial subtotal. That's alot in my opinion! Cool store, with a checkout. Until the next review....
