This was my first service with Maryna. For this appointment I requested eyebrow wax and tint. She does use hard wax on the eyebrows FYI. I love how she kept me involved with the process. After mapping my eyebrows, she gave me a mirror to make sure I was satisfied with the shape. Also, after wiping off the tint on one eyebrow she let me look to make sure I was satisfied - asked if I wanted them darker/lighter. They came out perfect! Once finished, she provided me with aftercare instructions. For this appointment (brow wax and tint), I was charged $46.00. I felt this price was super reasonable. Maryna was so friendly and professional. I love the end results and highly recommend!

I've been a first time client at many salons as I move around quite a bit and I even worked as a receptionist at a hair salon for a while, so I'd say that for the average person I have a good understanding of how they operate and how to act as a client. I needed my hair highlighted before going out of town since I couldn't get in with my normal stylist in time. I specifically picked this place based on the stylist's Instagram portfolio (Catherine Keller), who had availability at 9am, so I booked with her two days before. The appointment was booked but needed to be confirmed and since I'm no stranger to online scheduling I'm sure all she had to do in those two days was hit a button to confirm or decline. The day of rolled around and at 8:30 I called, texted, and Instagram messaged Catherine since my appointment had not been confirmed. I didn't hear back so out of respect for her time, I drove 30 mins for my appointment. I walked in and there was music playing in the back and I could hear someone talking but the place was otherwise completely empty. I wasn't about to wander around since I honestly felt like I was intruding so I called, texted, and DMed again. I sent one last message around 9:30 saying that I was still here and that I'd be leaving soon unless I heard otherwise from her. At 9:35 I got an email that they had declined my 9:00 appointment. Screenshot included. Honestly I'm just super frustrated as I really needed this confidence boost and went out of my way (1 hour round trip) to be a respectful client only to be completely ignored. This is super unprofessional and I have never seen something like this since stylists/salons usually value their time and have strict policies to protect them. If a client is able to book an appointment with you, the least you can do is confirm or deny BEFORE their appointment time! Then I might have been able to find somewhere else to go at the very least, but now my only time window for this has been wasted. Needless to say I won't try again. Do better
