I was quoted 158 for this job the day prior over the phone and I confirmed at the start of the appointment if that would be the price. My brakes were in poor shape, missing a brake pad on one side and the mechanics spent an extra 15-20 mins working on my cylinder. At the end of the job, Chris informed me that they got air on the line and would have to bleed the brakes. (I've always had my brakes bled at the end of any brake job so this is standard for me to have done whenever I get my breaks done. They told me this would be an extra 120 dollars at the end of the job. My father is a mechanic and said that price was a little high just to bleed the brakes and was very familiar with the procedure. He told me "go call your dad and ask him to send you more money." When I asked if they could take 20 bucks off and knock the price down to 100 from 120 he asked me to tell him how old I was which I thought was rude and uncalled for. I told him I was 30 and he proceeded to say "wow you look 18" and said "one day you're going to have to learn that everything in life isn't free sweetheart." When I went to his office to pay he also said I'm going to have to buy him lunch because they spent extra time working on my car than they planned. Disgusting behavior. I would not recommend this shop to any woman (or really anyone) unless you want to be taken advantage of and upsold. They ended up bleeding one brake so my car would be somewhat drivable. My interior dashboard was also scratched up when I got my car back from them.

Mechanic ordered the parts for our 2012 Hyundai Sonata that day; damaged front bumper and broken front right headlight. Damaged front right panel he said he could just fix without a new part. Received call on Tues., 5-21-24; car totally repaired . Was told parts were not perfect color, but we didn't care. Previous estimate for repair was ~ $2500, but Mobile's estimate was less than $1,500. We were thrilled because we did not want to go through insurance; paid out of pocket. Picked up car Wed. am .Car looked GREAT ! Could not tell color wasn't perfect match ! Fabulous job ! Absolutely flabbergasted! Every now and then, something goes amazingly well ! Highly recommend !

Anyway, I scheduled the PPI for the following day between 11am and 3pm, no problem. Pay in advance, once again, no problem since that's typical for these types of services. I get a call the next day around 2:30pm saying the mechanic isn't available and we would need to reschedule for the next day. Unfortunately, I had a tight timeframe that this needed to be completed by and the next day wouldn't work. I found someone local, paid about 50% more since it had to be done right away, and they sent someone out immediately. I tried to cancel with Instant Car Fix and get a refund. Matthew told me that that was fine and sent me a link to cancel. Once I finished the cancellation, I got an email confirmation saying I was being charged a 100% cancellation fee for cancelling "a job in progress", even though the promised services were never delivered. When I tried calling Matthew back, he ignored all of my calls. I ended up calling the main number and told that they would escalate it. I didn't hear anything for a few days, so I called back and was told the same thing, and also told to email their claims department directly. If this is the "professional" demeanor by which they operate, then it's no wonder they are getting completely flamed in their online reviews. My review will not change until they fix their mistake. Until then, I advise everyone looking for mechanical services to look elsewhere.

They were able to schedule me in on short notice, diagnosing it as a warranty covered issue. I was able to delay repair until we returned home. They were very helpful and informative prior to me purchasing the transmission and went to bat for me with the rebuilder when a warranty issue arose in 2022. They also changed out a transmission for my ex and they likewise took great care of her and again went to bat with the rebuilder when a problem arose. Any time I hear of someone needing transmission work, I always send them to Worley's as a way of thanking them. Frank said that the car had a broken mirror and a bad tire, etc. Basically, he refused to install an engine. I asked Almar to install an engine, not tires or mirrors. I guess my car didn't meet Frank's standard. Another dealer will install the engine for $900.00 cheaper. Thanks, Almar.
