The soup of the day-was lacking flavor
    Caroline J.

This is a fun little restaurant at an actual airport! There were some hits and misses at my first visit today: Hits: Good bread the sandwich comes on and fun/cool views from the restaurant overlooking the runway. Our server was very attentive when we first got there. She got our drinks and order in right away. Misses: The soup of the day which was a broccoli chicken lacked flavor. The chicken salad said that it had pineapple in it and I could not taste any type of pineapple which was sad. The waitress never came back to check on us or offer us refills.

I absolutely loved this place. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, a playground outside for kids, planes taking off and landing, and great food. They have a varied menu of salads and cold or hot sandwiches. They make their bread in-house (the Bavarian bread was AMAZING!). All entrees were super reasonable (under $10) and food came out fast. We will definitely be back!! Oh and on the second weekend of October, November, and December they're having a pancake breakfast fundraiser at 8:30am. If we were local, we'd be there!

For anyone who enjoys airplanes and food, what's not to like!! This joint was recommended to me by a friend and fellow pilot; and his recommendation did not disappoint. A small local airport, this restaurant boasts a scent-sized crowd base of returning customers. It's not your typical dinner spot: its patio-dining and plane-watching! It's also a place that adults can have a burger and cold local brews, and family fun with children having access to play on the playground. Seating is optional between inside or outside. Between March and October, Friday Night Flights is hosted with live music from 5pm-9pm (weather pending). Can't wait to come back for lunch or dinner! Or even fly in, at some point.

First time visiting Charlie's and I wasn't disappointed. Food and service were great and I am happy to support this local restaurant.

Probably worst service I've ever had. Food is mediocre, you will be ignored for 30+ minutes at a time.

Do they have some kids menu items?

Yes! We have a full kids menu on a coloring page that we hand out crayons with. They can get a grilled cheese, hot dog, PB&J, BLT, ham and cheese, or turkey and cheese sandwich with choice of side and it includes a drink. We also have a playground…

The inside of the store was old school setup with booths and a huge full service bar. 15 minutes within opening, the restaurant was full in capacity. The menu had lots of exciting brunch dishes, appetizers, salads, soups and deli section as well. There were plenty of cocktails, beer and wines choices available too. Prices were decent. I picked the Jewish Sailor that was a combo of toast with pastrami and beef sausage with red onion and mustard. When the dish came, it looked so scrumptious. Loved the flavor of the pastrami, the crunchy sausages, crispy toast bread, coleslaw all of it. I also got to try the pierogis that were delicious as well. The service was good overall. Our waitress was attentive, while managing several tables at the same time. The dishes came out quickly despite being busy. Overall the experience lived up to the expectations.

We popped in to look at the menu and it's a wide variety of deli sandwiches and salads. They also offer a breakfast menu. Staff was immediately helpful and friendly with answering questions. I ordered the pastrami & Swiss, wife ham & Swiss. I also ordered a BLT salad with Italian dressing on the side. Price point decent at $30. The dining room is crazy large, they have merchandise for sale and even an ice cone machine. But most interesting was the fact they facilitate the sell of raw milk through a subscription program through a dairy farm. Bazaaro's offer bottle drinks only including bottle wine. Salad out first, yum! Sandwiches were delivered to the table within 10 minutes or so. Everything is served to go and sandwiches wrapped in foil. I was surprised how much meat was on the pastrami. My wife was satisfied with the amount on hers as well and enjoyed. Loved the fresh rye on my pastrami and taste was pretty good too. We both only ate half and carried the rest out. Overall a very good experience and I was especially impressed with the staff that went out of their way to ensure we were satisfied.

Doesn't really look good. Ordered the Reuben and onion rings to share. Reuben's are typically very large. This was a small Reuben and for sure could have eaten the entire thing. We got 3 sandwiches, 2 with fries and 1 with onion rings, 2 waters and a sprite. It was $52. I think that is a bit high especially looking at size of sandwich but the were delicious.

This is Yelp, so I need to recommend a few things to order. Their chef salad is HUGE. The club sandwich is a great offering. And the one you'll skip over but shouldn't is the Adkins Special, which is 3 eggs and 2 meats (or 2x one meat) -- no bread, no fruit, no potatoes. Sometimes you just need to go all proteins! Anyway, all of these are great options. Also, their "numbered" deli sandwiches are all good choices. We remain regulars. Although I have only checked in about 40 times we are there at least twice a month. If you see me come say hi!
