My husband and I went for our birthdays a few days ago! We were even able to bring along our 16 month old, took turns in the water. Met at the docks, and got out to the water quickly. Our instructors were awesome, very professional i felt completely safe! They gave great instruction and safety tips and were so helpful. I did towards the end start to feel a bit sea sick they gave me a ginger chew which actually helped. This was a really fun family experience @ Turtle Canyon. We went out first thing in the morning and the water was calm. Meg & Alex were very kind and approachable. The boat will anchor off near other snorkeling boats and you're free to snorkel in between them all. We saw a few turtles and hundreds of fish all around us. Alex even dove down and brought a sea urchin to the surface for everyone to see and touch. Be sure to remember to tip the crew members, they really appreciate it! read more

Did the Turtle Canyon snorkeling with Charter Oahu. It was amazing!!! We saw lots ofs of fish, turtles and some bottlenose dolphins. Alex, Kelsey, Angelina and Loren were great from the sign in and throughout the trip. Very knowledgeable, friendly, patient and engaged with everyone on the trip. They pointed out turtles even before we got into the water. I really appreciate that they went over the importance of not getting too close or touching the turtles. They are all lifeguard certified also, especially as there was a family with young children aboard. The gear was so much easier to use than the old stuff I had from years ago when I used to snorkel regularly...clean, sanitized, well cared for. I appreciated that Angelina did the photography also. I had been bummed that I forgot my camera but it actually gave me more time to enjoy the turtles and her photos were great and the price is very reasonable. Can not recommend Charter Oahu highly enough! I will definitely be back on my next trip. read more

Went on a snorkel with turtles expedition today and had a great time! The entire team made up of four young ladies who are well trained and clearly a skilled team. Can't say enough good things about them as they were professional, caring and paid close attention to every single customer on the boat especially while in the water. It was a little choppy out there today but no fault of crew but they all jumped into action when a few of us needed help back to the boat for one reason or another. They always kept a sharp eye on every single one of us and made sure we were alright. Saw one turtle which was cool but maybe next time it will be calmer out on the water. They had plenty of good gear on hand, everything looked new and in perfect condition as well. Highly recommend this company to take you out and swim with turtles! read more

Charter Oahu was amazing. My boyfriend and I went on their snorkel tour and had an amazing experience! The guides were very attentive and knowledgeable. The small group of 20 made it a much more personal experience, almost like VIP! We saw a bunch of turtles and other sea life. They also passed out snacks and drinks during our tour! They went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and ensure we had an exciting experience on our snorkel adventure. They had 2 lifeguards in the water with us at all times, and helped us stay clear of the overly large groups. And too top it all off for only $35 a professional photographer and diver photographed us and sought out sea life for us to see. She went though poses and various action shots to get us the best shots possible including photos with turtles!! Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to get the most for their money snorkeling in Waikiki! Definitely would want to do this again! read more

We did a snorkeling tour with Charter Oahu, and it was amazing!! The guides were so kind, friendly, and knowledgeable. We saw tons of turtles while snorkeling and a lot of dolphins on the boat ride out to turtle canyon. The guides gave us snacks and juice which was so nice! The boat ride was enough time to enjoy being on the ocean while not being too long. Everything was so beautiful. Soooo good. Chelsea, Angelina and Alexa were awesome! Apparently, this charter is typically totally female run (girl power!) So welcoming and fun. Had the best attitudes and were so eager to make sure we had a great time! Equipment was in great shape (boat and snorkeling gear). Provided a variety of snacks, fruit and drinks. My family raved about our 3 hour private charter. Felt very well taken care of and extremely safe. I was nervous about snorkeling but the crew on this sea turtle excursion was phenomenal. Beth & Alex put me completely at ease, helped with my equipment and offered me an extra flotation device. The masks were treated to avoid fogging and they were crystal clear offering an amazing view of several turtles and other fish! It took me a few minutes to adjust to breathing through the snorkel but once I got used to it, I didn't want to get out of the clear warm water. We took the sunset cruise and fireworks. This was not a relaxing cruise. Had to hang on for dear life the entire time. Couldn't let go long enough to even snap a picture. Boat was going so slow we were rocking (hard) back and forth the entire time. Did not see other boats rocking that hard so I believe it was due to us going so slow . Bathroom on board was not In service . Would not recommend. Would not book with them in the future. read more
