My boss sends me to this Chase location at least twice a month. It is a little out of the way for me but i do not mind at all. The staff here is so friendly ( shout out to Jacob ! ) and nice. I have been coming here so long and have seen lots of the staff come and go. The parking lot always has parking and right across the street is my fav store for random shopping. My only real complaint is that the atm is in the sun a lot of the day. Not much of a complaint really. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK! :) read more

Terrible customer service here. Greeter made me wait in the teller line (only 1 teller working) for a simple request while she walked around aimlessly. When I was finally next in line, she walked over and helped me. :| Save yourself the grief and take a couple minutes to drive over to the one on De Anza near the library. Lilly was amazing and so kind and helped me through the long process of getting my account back on track. She was determined to fixing it and did so with such a positive attitude. Stopped being a customer of this bank years ago, because they made some really shady fraudulent charges on my account. Due to the fault of the bank. They wouldn't do anything to fix it. Makes you wonder what kind of shady business their involved in. I had a client that told me, that Chase, and Wells Fargo was accused of money laundering a few years ago. read more

Was at the bank recently to get a check written out payable to myself from my *own* account. The teller told me that I had to produce a second form of ID after I showed her my driver's license and bank statement! They denied an alternate photo ID and wanted only a credit or debit card.... or passport.... or social security card?! Incredible since I am there in person to get money from my account to myself. Isn't it strange that to open an account I don't even need so many forms of security? What's up Chase? read more

Been a long time client of Chase. We are also Chase Private Clients. Recently, we found out the bank made some errors in our statement. We were charged hundreds of dollars of fees that should not have been charged. Our Private Client Banker did some research and told us the reason was because our accounts were properly linked. The fault was entirely with the bank. Our accounts were previously linked but got unlinked for some unexplained reasons. Yet, our Private Client banker said he could only remove $95 of the charge, leaving the bulk unchanged. He said even the branch manager would not have the authority to go back to fix mistakes that occurred more than 120 days back. Later on, after we complained vehemently, we got someone to call us back to say they will waive as a courtesy. Excuse me, we are not asking for courtesy here. We are just asking you do your job and to fix your mistake after your client points out clearly your mistakes. Make no bones about it. There is no dispute here about the mistake. I am not a happy customer even after Chase decided to refund us our money because they keep saying this is a "courtesy." I cannot stand people and organizations who can't apologize and own up to their mistakes. Blame the customer ... even when you are fixing your mistake. Way to go Chase! read more

I am a premier member with chase bank and in addition have a chase mileage plus membership paying close to $400/ur. So disappointed that the front desk guy doesn't even want to direct me to a business officer who can notarize a simple bank document. Only reason I show up at the bank is for this and locker. If they can't provide this, why have these centers and then charge us the overhead price. Now I found another bank, who is providing me this service. Very disappointed and I am escalating this to senior bank official. This happened on Saturday morning at 10-10 AM. This is specific to this branch. It was before noon. I was the only customer in this branch. I needed to withdraw some cash. The teller told me at I have to fill a form, available on the other desk, before withdrawing some cash. Really? Is that a new policy? It seems at she's too lazy to do her job. I joined because of Wa Mu and to have an account at a bank as well as a credit union (of which I am a firm believer). This is the only branch that I have met people that are not automatons. She did not charge me for printing out a statement - it was $5 for one statement at the mountain view branch - I don't often ask for this it was just that we moved and needed documentation for a mortgage. She did talk me into keeping my account. I am too soft sometimes. I am closing my account though because trying to use their phone banking is too difficult and shocking. Shocking - well shocking because the calls go out of the country to the Philipines which is a fairly decent place but it is not covered by US law. Also didn't we just bail these banks out with our tax money and now they are off-shoring US jobs. read more

Chase is too big and too arrogant as an organization. This is not to reflect on all the employees. However, I have encountered problems with numerous branches and the organization on-line. For example, in cashing in a Visa traveler's cheques purchased at Bank of the West, Chase charged me $10.00 per check including one for $20.00. B 0f W returned it as it was old. I called Chase and was told "it is OUR right" to charge you. B 0f W only charges $4.00 on returned items, straightened everything out graciously and returned my money. Total fees by Chase: over $400.00 on TRAVELER'S cheques. Travelers cheques do "expire" no matter what you are told. read more

DONT" BANK with CHASE!! I had a savings account at WAMU - moved and was getting my tax info correctly at my new address - but Chase sent the info I was supposed to get to my old (5 years old) address and it took me over 6 months for me to find out and get them to send it to the correct address. . . by which time they had taken out $12 per month for "inactivity" - they had also changed my saving account to a checking account - probably to be able to dock me the "fee". Went to the bank, kept me waiting waiting and finally told me I could have 2 months fee reversed only to then change their minds and tell me NO the computer won't allow it. BEWARE CHASE bank - they are not the friendly folk they claim to be. read more

Hands down one of the worst experiences I have had with a Chase bank. They've put my identity and account at risk with their malfunctioning ATMs. They have very unhelpful staff, some of which knew I was having an issue and just shook their heads and walked away. This was the worst experience I have had with a bank, and I am absolutely appalled by the lack of care and decent humanity that the staff here has. Few weeks ago, I took some money out from my bank account and it turned out that one of the bills I received was a counterfeit. I found out when I try to make a payment on a different bank. When I tried to recover my loss, the branch manager's response was that I couldn't prove I got the $100 bill from the bank. "It's your words against my words." I was out $100, but I was more upset because of his response. I have been banking at that location for over 20 years, before it was even Wa Mu. Wa Mu was a decent bank. But Chase just ruined it. I wonder why they spend so much money on TV ad instead of customer service. If you still bank with Chase, check out the currency they give you carefully. This is the best bank experience I've ever had. Last week I opened an account and the employee who helped me set it up was so friendly, happy to answer any questions, and most importantly honest. She was upfront about any fees/penalties. After I finished opening the account one of the assistant managers (I think) also came over and introduced himself and chatted for a bit. Then today I received a call from the manager of the bank to ask if I had any questions! The customer service here is amazing! read more

This bank service is sucks. They charged me $10 service fee for each month starting this year. I just put much couple ten dollars in checking since there is no interest and they said the only way to get my own money ($10) back is to have a direct deposit money, or some other conditions. I should have known this since notice was sent last year.Although it's not a lot of money, I was totally upset because out of my sea of junk mails from so many banks and credit card solicitation, I never notice whatsoever any letters sent by Chase and they get our money that way and force people to do sth out of their will. I was much happier the service with WAShington Mutual than this new Chase bank... Be aware of all kinds of charges from this bank without any courtesy service for customers. read more

Horrible bank and banking experience! Paid off credit card years ago and they are now sending me a summons saying I owe $10,000!!! The highest balance I ever had was $1,000 and paid that off years ago. Both the bank and Jamie Dimon are a bunch of crooks!!! read more

Boycott Chase!!!!!! Chase is a horrible bank! I was a customer with WAMU for several years and loved the service until they were bought out by Chase. Their customer service is worst than the DMV. Want to pay excessive fees for savings, checking, and any other service? Then Chase is the bank you're looking for. They'll give you a .2% savings rate, but turn around with your money and loan it to someone else at 20%. Need to talk to a telephone banker? Expect to speak to some call center in India, Philippines, or some other place where people speak limited English, and the only real phrase they know is "I can not help you." I'm not putting people down on their efforts to speak English as English is my second language as well, but when they don't seem to understand or are unwilling to understand what you want then I call that bad customer service! Do an internet search on "Chase sucks" and you'll find many angry customers. I'm closing all my accounts with them and going to a local credit union. read more
