My husband and I had to close a old account that we just didn't need anymore. We were delighted to be helped by Katie Chase (cool) at this location, I love this little satellite location, instead of the big downtown one. Katie had to do a transfer from one account to another, so it was complicated with the cards. Katie was very smart, efficient and got out account closed lighting fast. We also had to do some updates on our personal information. We have had this particular account for 35 years. It was Great Western, then Washington Mutual, finally Chase. I really love Chase overall, they always stand behind you. My account was recently compromised and I frantically called them, there were over $600.00 of fraudulent charges; they assured me I would not be responsible for any of it and not to worry one bit. I was so relieved, this was the first time this has happened to me and it's not fun to say the least. I always have believed not to keep all your eggs in one basket; with investments, stocks, bonds and cash. I'm thinking of moving most of my accounts there now. read more

The Indian lady at this branch is seriously the rudest woman I've ever met! Wow I have never encountered a tyrant before at any bank! She also made it seem like it was her doing me a favor from having her service me when I walked in without an appointment (which I didn't need, since I didn't request her!) This branch office is wonderful. The people are always super friendly. They have a bowl of dog biscuits and water for the four-footed crew. There's always fresh coffee. The managers walk around to talk to you while you're waiting. I was able to sign my daughter up for a special high school checking account when she turned 13 and it's been a fantastic way to teach her the value of money. It was also great when she'd be on summer camps and off at places where I didn't want to give her too much money. I can have a separate savings account and transfer funds in as needed. We had an issue recently where the ATM ate her $35 cash, and instead of calling like the slip recommended, we went in, and they treated her so well. I greatly appreciated the fact that they took time to talk with her and answer her questions, and reassure her that the money would be credited back. I also have my business account here, and have found them to be awesome. My cats wish they could get accounts, and have catnip toys placed out, but you know, you can't please everyone :-) read more

This review is Robin's fault. For the record, I'm a huge fan of Chase as an organization. They have awesome online banking and phone-based customer service rocks. That said, I had an abysmal experience at this branch. This is particularly because the manager, Robin, was totally unhelpful and extremely condescending. After walking into the branch 45 minutes before closing, I was essentially told that there wasn't enough time to help me (even before I expressed my inquiry) and was advised to come back later. When finally asking my question, it was quickly dismissed by Robin. She was totally unwilling to help in the slightest bit. To add insult to injury, she then expressed her reasoning to be that Chase has a strict policy of treating customers equally no matter how "rude and abrupt" they are. I could not believe my ears. Who speaks to customers like that? Unreal. If it weren't for all the rewards programs that make Chase great, I'd simply take my money elsewhere. I will never go to this branch again. There's a branch a mile down the road on North Santa Cruz. Do yourself a favor and go there. read more

Terrible managementt! I came in to request for a cashier check to buy a home. They didnt update one of my account with my legged name and basically told me they company help me because they "don't know who I am.." I was told that the manager can help but she didn't want to because she want to take the risk... i was left in the lobby for over an hour while the manger is walking around doing nothing to help me understand what's not matching in their system. It may be helpful to know that I paid off my chase mortgage account with no problem m and also put a directed deposit into the account with problem. I ended up calling the 866 number onn my mobIle app while standing in the lobby waiting for anyone to try to help me and got thhrough in less than a minute. They asked me to hand over the phone to the teller so thhey can help her aNd a few minutes later I was oFfer the check I requested. The Branch Manager was unprofessional, incompassionate and unhelpful. I've haven't experienced such lack of customer service in a place wHere I trust with all my money... I will be working on transferring all my assets to another institution where they have competent leadership and customer oriented service. I'm glad they showed me this side now. Thank you! read more

We had an issue with our Mortgage. Calling Chase was ineffective, got transferred 3 times and finally cut off. A visit to our "home" Chase was useless. They not only didn't understand the issue but sent my husband away with a note and the Chase phone number. Shout out to Robin, the bank manager, at the Los Gatos Blvd location. I love Chase for all their mobile and online recourses but what makes me keep mine and my husbands account there is their amazing customer service! I started going to Chase as a high school student and have since continued my loyalty because of the amazing staff I always meet. I write my review today because while in California visiting family I had an issue with my account after recently changing my last name. Being away from my "home Chase bank" I was extremely flustered but sure enough the manager there was able to set me up with everything I needed and more. She answered all my questions and even made me feel connected to the community by talking to me about her daughter who had recently made the move up to Washington. I went there today to open an account. There was one other client in the bank and I was told it would be a 15 minute wait. I sat in the lobby for 45 MINUTES. The worst part was that there were 6.... I am not exaggerating, 6 employees standing around doing absolutely nothing. The manager, middle-aged blonde lady, is one of the most uncomfortable people I've ever been around. Cold and condescending are the two words that best describe her. I never imagined I would be writing a yelp review about a bank, then again I never imagined I could have such an awful experience at one. There are plenty of Chase branches nearby, I recommend avoiding this one at all costs. read more

This week, the Chase team (captained by Valerie) rallied to literally save the day for me. Chase is a big bank, but this branch team gave it a local-town feel by helping to resolve my issue quickly, and the type of personal attention one rarely sees by "Big Banks". Even my husband was amazed as he works with banks regularly in his business and he had never experienced the type of service that I received to fix (yes, fix!) an issue that had been kicked off by another financial institution. Robin at this location really knows how to make a long term Chase customer feel like they are bothering her by coming into the bank. She made us wait over 5 minute while she talked with a co-worker about personal things. Such a disappointment. It got worse, but this should be enough. I went in a week ago because there was some fraudulent activity on my debit card. I spoke with Adam Wainwright and he informed me that he would issue a new debit card that I would recieve within two days time and that my account would be closed on the old debit card once I recieved the new one. Well here it is a week later and I still have not recieved my new debit card! Further more everytime that I call the bank i keep getting a run around from them and nothing seems to be resolved. This branch's customer service SUCKS! Do not I repeat Do not do business here if you can avoid it and tell everyone that you know not to as well so they can avoid the headaches! These banks tend to want to hold you hostage and with the economy being what it is I would think that they would bend over backwards to help. read more

Great staff here! I have a business so I tend to go to the bank about 2-3 times a week and this branch is always so helpful. Many times I've rushed in 20-30 mins before closing and they're never rushing me and always able to get me in and out.
