About the same time I received notice the insurance wanted the money back (turns out it was an overpayment), the insurance company won't stop bugging me, I NEVER CASHED IT! This branch told me bring in a copy of the check and they can help, they also told me they cannot just bring up deposits from one surce, this is not true. Today I happened to need to do some banking and brought the check in, Wells Fargo confirmed the insurance company put a stop payment, but they then said they cannot provide me proof???? I said I think I am going to close my accounts here, the manager smiled and said OK, tehre is a long wait (didn't even care). I waited almost 40 minutes with NO HELP, during this time I called Wells Fargo, the young lady said, we can provide you proof that those checks were never cashed here. I said great can we do that now. She said no, you have go to the branch?????? At this point I said please esculate, which she did. The supervisor put my on hold for 7 minutes and said the last girl was wrong, we can not write anything for you. I said I'm just going to leave Wells Fargo, she said OK, have a nice rest of your day. They are as bad as DMV with little help and bad information, but what they don't realize unlike DMV I have choses on who I can bank with and I am 100% certain any local credit union will not only be happy to have me as a customer but will also treat me well. I have been with Wells Fargo since 1988, 38 years and I have a good amount of money with them. THEY DON'T CARE! Don't just take my word for it, look at all these bad reviews!
