So bad I want to give them a zero but a 1 will do. They cancel appointments with no explanation and then don't answer when you call them.

Had to stop in here to deposit a check... The teller did not make me feel in anyway that she wanted my business. I got a "hi" and then "you know you can deposit checks at the ATM" then continued to explain to me how to use an ATM... if she didn't want the business that's fine. I have banked with Chase in Moorpark for years and cannot say enough good things about the staff there. They are always helpful, friendly and go out of their way to offer solutions when problems arise. Sam is especially great, even though I don't have a lot of money there, he makes me feel like I have a personal banker. The branch manager is rude and has no consideration I was waiting for 45 min she had clearly seen that I had been waiting for a long time and went ahead and took care of someone else that had barely walked in the worse part is that she didn't even aknowledge me. I come in here every time and I end up having to wait for 20 minutes to speak with a banker. They only have two bankers available on most days. This place is incredibly understaffed. I came in to get a name change on my account and I waited for 20 minutes not one banker came up to me to confirm they would be right with me. They just stuck to there own busy selves. I ended up having to make an appointment the next day just so I can see a banker. This is unacceptable I should not have to wait 20 minutes and I should not have to make an appointment just so I can see a banker. I would honestly advise you not bank with chase because obviously they have a problem staffing there own banks with enough people. read more

My husband recently died and I had to close his account. I understand that there are people that do not know what to say in these circumstances. I have tried to change my address on my account three times already!! I sat down with a representative and he did his thing on the computer and said it was all done yet no change was made. I opened the account in Moorpark, CA and moved to Las Vegas, NV for a couple of months. While in Vegas I has no issue with changing my address in their records, however, now I cannot change it back to my original Moorpark address. It honestly is not that hard. I am frustrated but the only reason I am with them still is because of the Chase fraud protector plan. read more

I like chase but when it comes to this branch to rate it? 0 star they dont deserve 1 star either. Went to this bank to open savings account for my kids but ended up waiting for almost an hour. Worst they dont care if you waited long time they dont have the 1st come 1st serve service. They also have there guts to ask me to come back at a later time?Stupid! Ended up walking out! Sam is the best for customer service. ATM lobby is nice, clean. BUT they only accept 40 bills at a time. Takes forever.

I have used this banking location since it was Washington mutual. The people who work here have always been so sweet and helpful and kind. They remember me and my daughter as they have watched her grow up. Even the managers are incredibly kind. That being said, one team member has always been very rude and snobby and unhelpful. All I know is her name is Janet. I try to compliment her on her nails or jewelry just to be kind but she is extremely rude! I've tried giving her the benefit of doubt maybe she has had a bad day. But this is every single time I come into the bank. She never smiles. She is a horrible teller. I love chase. I've always had great customer service on the phone or the banks. I am partially disabled and they have held doors for me. Always helpful. I believe this Janet in the Moorpark branch needs to not be in contact with customers. I am ready to take my business some place else just because I hate dealing with her. read more

Worst customer service experience from the manager Laura Martinez. She does not follow policy rules, instead makes her own. Shes very rude, talks bad about customers. I will not be banking with them because of her. I went in today to cash my check when i had done so before with my credit card account she told me i couldnt do that when i did 2 weeks ago and the banker said it wouldnt be a problem aslong as i had my i.d. I called customer service to close the credit card account i explained the reason why and he told me that according to their policy i could cash my check. I went back to tell her. I over heard her talking to another banker about me and when she saw me she told the banker "ugh its her." What kind of manager treats customers like that. Apparently her who doesnt have basic customer service skills. read more

This place is terrible! I have been calling complaining for months, that the security doors for the ATM are broken. Every time I call, they act concerned, but no one has bothered to correct the issue. The last time that I called, the person literally told me that the previous representatives blatantly ignored my concerns and never filed an actual complaint! The bank is so worried about fraud, what about actual physical robbery. I don't care if someone steals my card info and cleans out my account. What I care about is a person placing a GUN in my face and cleaning out my account. Fix your doors! I am moving to Bank of America. It's in a nicer neighborhood and their doors lock. read more

Chase will not honor Government Checks/IRS checks without an expiration date. The State of California says the check is valid but Chase says no! Their bank policy apparently supersedes what the Federal and State Government allow. I was given the run around by two tellers at the bank and the Branch Manager Laura Martinez, supposedly she was checking with corporate but who knows. (One teller tried to convince me this morning that if i came in three days later after the issue date that I would not be able to cash/deposit that check and I need to have it re-issued) Very poor service and of little help to their customers. Please check out another bank this branch is terrible. read more

I had a horrible,time with the card services department. The bank manager in the Moorpark Chase spent HOURS with me on three different occasions until we got the problem resolved. She was the most professional, pleasant, caring and understanding individual I have worked with in many years. This is the old fashion kind of respect missing in the business world today. My grandmother (through marriage) recently passed, I went into the Moorpark branch & spoke with Sam who had been a trustworthy name grandma knew of. I explained we needed a Medallion Stamp for a name transfer for stock grandma had. The stock needs to be switched to the legal executor of her estate. We had original death certificate, living trust, current stock statements with their worth, two banks accounts with Chase since the WAMU days (25yrs+); these accounts have grandma' name & legal executors name jointly on the account AND grandmas home was financed thru this same branch showing executors name as well (the loan was just paid off in full). With all of this, Chase bank was not able to grant us a Medallion Stamp & we were told that the only way for them to grant this to us is if we went through the court system;probate. No other direction was given! Probate is not only time consuming but it costs money! We have been into the branch now 4 times always trying to make this work. Sam is nice but he should of known it was a waste of time sending us to Ventura county clerk who sent us to Ventura Superior Court who sent us to the Oxnard courthouse for a letter of Testamentary; only those in probate can receive such a letter. We worked with someone new today in the same branch but I don't remember his name, he sits next to Sam and since Sam' other appointment was running late, Sam couldn't make our scheduled appointment. We left unsatisfied without a clear reason why a bank that we have entrusted for so many years couldn't detail why they could not grant this stamp that basically guarantee' who we are & that forgery is not an issue. You look to a bank for guidance and we received none. A printed response for the denial was not available, no standard policies and procedures available to view, was told there is no one to contact further to discuss this, that it is a service not all banks provide & that grandma should of known to have a beneficiary noted because everyone who deals with stocks knows exactly what to do! It has been a waste of time dealing with Chase Bank in Moorpark, unsympathetic & unhelpful to someone dealing with such a big loss. There only option was to go thru the court systems... a senior, unaware & financially strapped...Terrible Customer Service!! I feel bad for those people that only have this bank to guide them. read more
