I wrote my brother a check and Manager Hugo Perez and Supervisor Wendy Iraheta refused to cash it! First off, I have PLENTY of sufficient funds and don't have ANY (NEVER HAVE) delinquent accounts because I ALWAYS pay EVERYTHING OFF IN FULL!!! They blamed the "system" so I called and spoke to 4 different Chase customer service reps and they ALL confirmed that 1) there's no lock/alert -- never was 2) I have plenty of funds in my acct and 3) there's check amount is less than $2,500. So now, I have wasted a hr of my day dealing with this crap and will have to waste more time tomorrow calling them tomorrow for LYING about the "system" being locked. Do NOT go to this branch because they won't even give you your own money!!!!!!! read more

Chase is the worst in customer service! This location has been unable to do a SIMPLE NAME CHANGE! To begin with, I spoke with Yelli Madrigal and I thought everything went fine without issue. I was told I'd receive my card in 3-5 days. Shortly after leaving, I look at my phone and I had 12 missed calls! 12calls! Including voicemails and emails.... Talk about a toxic relationship. I returned her call and of course no answer. I left voicemail and replied the personal banker email as well. Next day, no response! I had to return in person, and ask what the issue was. At this point I'm upset. I was helped by another banker who told me the prior banker did NOT photocopy my ID and so had to return my name back to its original. Well it's been a week and finally I received my new bank card BUT STILL includes my prior name!!! Even after going twice, returning all their calls and emails. It's like I didn't change a thing! Chase is, in a word, useless. We wanted to set up a savings account for my son, and I was considering moving my personal and business accounts here. After having tried calling this branch for the past 2 weeks, and getting no response, I had the opportunity to just go in today. I withdrew a decent amount from my personal account at my current bank and my wife and I went over with our son. Upon arriving, we were greeted by a young lady at the door, who managed to tear herself away from the in-depth conversation she was having with the security guard. She asked what we needed done, and if we had an appointment. I mentioned that we did not have an appointment, because no one there bothers to pick up the phone. This is when she tells me that we need to make an appointment online, and that they were 2 weeks out. I understand how COVID has impacted the establishment, and that they are actively seeking to prevent large groups from congregating in the lobby (hence the 2 stars) However, that doesn't explain why they are incapable of picking up the phone when people call in. Either way, it was apparent that they'd rather not deal with the public, nor anyone wanting to open new accounts. So instead we went to my primary bank down the way (WF), and they were nice enough to take the 20 minutes to open a new saving account for my son. Bottom line, the people here have no desire to assist anyone. They are punching the clock, and don't care to engage in any retail bank transactions. I opened a business account at chase bank several years ago. When I opened my account the representative said if I keep a certain balance in my account every month I would not be charged a service charge. I qualified for the no service charge every month for 8 months but was still charged a service charge every month. Went in today to get $60 cash. The cashier Marianna gave me 3 $20 bills, one of which was old, from like 1977. I mentioned it to her and she smiled. I left and went to another store and they refused to take the bill saying it was FAKE! How embarrassing! I immediately went back to the bank and told Marianne what happened and asked for a new bill. She didn't even apologize for my embarrassment being humiliated at the store! She almost seemed irritated that I asked for a new one! It's the banks job to check for fake bills!!!! Was racially profiled. Had a check from a person who banks at Chase. Thought I would cash it from them so there would/should be no problems. (I bank somewhere else) I go in and was immediately looked up and down. Then the rude girl said it would cost $8 to cash...what?! "Or you could open an account and it's free". Unbelievable. Then she had a team inspect the check and they concluded the signature doesn't match what's on file. More games. I have closed my account due to the horrible customer service. Even when asked to speak to a supervisor they tell you one isn't available and call there closed coworker to then make matters worse . Chase used to have 12 windows to help you now they have three. They used to have a business window so you wouldn't get stuck behind a business person with thousands of dollars to count out, now we are all in the same line. They have given you 2 automated things to work with but if I wanted that I would use the ATM right? I am a local realtor and looking to open a new account for my real estate business so I walked in at about 4:20 PM to open a new account. I signed in and for 15 minutes no one ever said anything to me or anyone else waiting and the line was growing. I walked to a representative's booth and politely asked for assistance and was told that she was going home and that someone would be right with me. NOT PROFESSIONAL AT ALL! If you're looking for good customer service, this is not the place to bank with. They (all branches) have a ridiculous wait time because they only have one human teller. I've been with chase for years and normally when I walk in I have a seat and about 5-10 min later someone asks me if I need help, this time I walked in to open an additional account and there was 2 parties before me so I had a seat then additional parties kept coming after me and also had a seat, after I saw people who got there after me asked to go before me I started to look around and I saw this small not well displayed paper and pen that apparently was the "sign in sheet" they did not care I had been there already for 45 min and before all these people and wanted me to sign in and start at the back of the line which meant wait another 45 minutes. I told them they should get a sign or do something so people could know about this extremely important sign in sheet and they said they're not allowed to lol why on earth would they not be aloud to inform people that they need to sign in when you're not seeing people unless they sign in. Asked to speak to a manager regarding issues with my daughters account. I was thinking that speaking to the manager would help resolve past issues I've had with personal and business accounts at this bank, as well as the current issue, only to be blamed for not bringing up those issues when they happened. First of all the issues were brought up the at bank and the time they happened. The bank was aware of them and not one phone call or letter or concern was brought to me as the client. All just ignored. The manager was rude he cut me off did not listen to me as a customer at all and ignored my complaints. There is no accountability at this bank and many staff members are rude and unprofessional which explains the two stars they have. Everything is blamed on corporate or a higher level, again no accountability. Sad. You would think that with 2 stars someone would be held accountable and there would be a change. read more

My husband went in to the branch to close our accounts and the new manager, Larry, brought him in his office to talk to him. He explained that he just took over this branch and was working hard to fix the problems. He took the time to listen to our concerns and immediately worked on fixing them.
