She asked what we needed done, and if we had an appointment. I mentioned that we did not have an appointment, because no one there bothers to pick up the phone. This is when she tells me that we need to make an appointment online, and that they were 2 weeks out. I understand how COVID has impacted the establishment, and that they are actively seeking to prevent large groups from congregating in the lobby (hence the 2 stars) However, that doesn't explain why they are incapable of picking up the phone when people call in. Either way, it was apparent that they'd rather not deal with the public, nor anyone wanting to open new accounts. So instead we went to my primary bank down the way (WF), and they were nice enough to take the 20 minutes to open a new saving account for my son. Bottom line, the people here have no desire to assist anyone. They are punching the clock, and don't care to engage in any retail bank transactions. The process has always been quick and transparent. Their interest rates and additional perks are a major plus in why I continue to do business with them.
