There are armed security guards outside and security cameras all around this unit. Plus the Sheriff station is almost across the street. There are many Highway Patrol officers cruising around this place, plus there are a lot of sheriffs driving around, plus Public Works employees are working in the area and a lot of other utility workers and construction workers, this place is open to all residents and workers in the area. I feel very safe going to this bank and the people working here are very professional.

The branch manager refused to accept the check, because of the way Navy Federal filled out the printed check, it didn't have the car buyers name, just Navy Federal's signatures. After over an hour of trying to work this out, calling Navy Federal and having them talk to the BofA manager, etc. They still refused... On the way out, I decided to try Chase bank across the street instead, since I have an account with them as well. Chase accepted the check immediately and we completed the transaction within 5 min.

The line wasn't the issue but the issue was the inconsiderate and lack of professionalism from the employees here. We stood in line and watched as the employees brought clients from their desks to the front of the line. Why should other clients be prioritized over clients waiting in line? How is that fair or correct? Regardless of the time they waited to be seen by an employee at their desk, the line exists and should be followed! And Wells Fargo should create some order for their employees to follow. If the client has other needs that require a teller they should be able to be helped at the desk. It's common sense! And the people waiting in line for 20min to see a teller should not have someone go before them!! Trisha the "Assistant Branch Manager" was extremely ill equipped to not only explain to me why it was right but she didn't have any solutions. And wait times are minimal, depending on the day and time of course. My biggest complaint (thus the 3 stars) is that it can take what feels like forever to access your safe deposit box. First you have to wait around until an employee comes out and asks what you need. Then you have to wait again until someone can assist you. Then you wait yet again while they take your ID to confirm you have a box. And then you'll probably get a pitch to upgrade your credit card or refinance your home before they FINALLY escort you to your box. What should literally take 5 minutes can take as long as 30 minutes, so be prepared to wait.

Hilariously, their tellers weren't working behind the desk and instead assisted with deposits at the ATM. Their presence was gladly welcomed, since I had a few bills. The staff member walked me through the entire process and even made sure that I felt safe depositing each stack of bills (small bills / change add up fast over the years). When all was said and done, I was in and out in less than 5 minutes, despite me having budgeted about 15-30 minutes... :)

This location is probably one of the more beautiful branches compared to the other East West Banks. It has high ceilings, lots of natural lighting from all the surrounding glass windows, and it seems a bit more sleek. Maybe because I'm starting to get to know the employees who works here, I must say that everybody working in this branch is so nice and possesses a very professional attitude. My banking needs are met every time, and I'm happy to say my experience coming here is always stress free. The only thing I think that might need better planning is parking. Yes, you get a parking ticket as you drive into the huge parking structure, and the bank validates it for you in order to be free. If not validated, parking is expensive. I believe it's $1 75 for fifteen minutes. I wish they had an easy access parking lot outside the bank. But it probably won't happen because it's a high rise building, and there's just no room for it. There is street metered parking too. Better make sure you put coins in the meter, or else Pasadena Parking Enforcement will quickly catch you. The bottom line is this bank is beautiful and the staff is nice. It's just that parking is not convenient. It might be difficult for elders, or customers who needs to walk upstairs (which is far while carrying money) to make a deposit. A safety issue.
