Called this bank a little over a month ago and spoke with someone about ordering an Arts and Culture card that I had lost. The gentleman I spoke to said he would place that order for me and the card would arrive in about three weeks to my home address. I waited about 5 weeks before calling back to this Chase bank to ask them the status or re-order me a new card. I spoke with the private client branch manager, who wouldn't let me get a word in edge wise, kept talking through me and said that the cards aren't normally re-ordered and the person I spoke with should not have promised me something like this. Okay, why are all your workers then not on the same page when promising something? And he was very adamant that these cards just can't be ordered whenever, and that since these cards are only one per household, I shouldn't have gotten one to begin with. Well, I did when I became a private client, and I received one at the beginning of the year, that obviously was misplaced. He then accused me of making this a game of "me against him" and I replied that I was only acting that way because he was talking through me and over me, and he immediately got defensive asking how he was doing that. I don't know what crawled up under his skin, but he was not a pleasant person to talk to. I do not plan on going this branch or using them for anything further. I will gladly go to a different branch that doesn't respond to customers this way. read more
