I went there every week one time! I am a really loyal customer so what I about to say next is just wish when the store owner see it,and they can make some improvements. I ordered a QQ Milk Tea with Tapioca, No Ice, Half Sugar, and it was the loveliest milk tea I've had in a while. Ambiance 2.5/5 (15% of final grade) Comfortable enough, but nothing very special. Perhaps suitable for an after-dinner tea where people just want to chat about general matters. Not an ideal date spot, nor a good spot for groups more than 6, as the space is relatively small. I recommend just grab a bubble-tea and chat outside the store front if it's a nice summer night. The place wasn't OMG clean either, but acceptably so. Service 2.5/5 (15% of final grade) It is a fast-paced environment, so I wasn't expecting anything special anyway. But if they ever give you the wrong order you can count on them to, at the very least, correct your order. They definitely aren't all smiles, but they don't emit an I-hate-my-job-and-my-life-and-bubble-tea vibe either. Cost 3/5 (10% of final grade) For the deliciousness that is the bubble tea, I think the prices are very reasonable. I won't be too agitated if they even increased the prices by 10%. Once I ordered four bubble teas for my siblings, and it was very busy there. I didn't have a problem waiting, because I understand the difficult life of a bubble tea barista, so all was swell. I noticed that they made an order wrong, and remarked to myself that I hope they don't waste it and at least have one of the employees enjoy its ill-fated deliciousness. I was the only one that ordered 4 at the time, because all the other customers ordered only one per customer, so I guess they appreciated this, and ended up giving me a free drink! I love free stuff, especially delicious free stuff. That was the first time I tried the QQ jelly with the milk tea, and I fell in love. Final mark = 65/100 (3 Stars) I would definitely crave this once in a while, and use this place as a casual hangout with friends. Chatime has been popping up almost every where in the city lately. And lots of people I know have been raving about it. I finally tried it and it's SOOOOO OVERRATED! I played it safe and got a taro slush, their taro is very different compared to every other place. Firstly, it's not purple... It's more of an off white colour but you can see bits and pieces of stuff in the drink. It didn't taste like any taro I've ever tried before. If anything I guess it tasted more natural? Don't get me wrong, it was made well there was nothing wrong with it, there's just nothing special about it. Within 5 minutes of drinking it, I concluded that people hyped up Chatime way too much. I love Chatime. All the bubble teas that they often are great. Selection is good. However this location is pretty small... I don't like the design... the lineup to order and the lineup to pick up collides when there's too many people. Sometimes you can be confused in which line you're standing in... I really love their bubble tea. I am a big fan of their original pearl milk tea as I love the taste of it. I go here all the time but last week when I went I order the triple super cup of pearl milk tea. This was a 1 litre cup size of bubble tea that was only $7.50! I have been coming to various Chatime locations since it's first GTA spot opened, lining up in previously snaked-out-the-door queues only a few years ago. Nowadays, with multiple Chatime having opened since then, the lineups are less long but each location still constantly bustling with customers eager for their cups of bubble tea. The usual fruit and milk mix varieties are available, along with more tea-based offerings and unique options like the Strawberry Pudding Au Lait (strawberry milk tea with a scoopful of jelly-like yellow custard at the bottom). Choose the amount of ice and sugar you'd like in your personalized cup. The one thing that I dislike about Chatime is the fact that they use dairy product powder in their drinks rather than actual milk (with the exception of the beverages actually marked "fresh milk"). With the amount of money that Chatime makes, I think it would be more fair of them to just use real milk. There are usually about 5 tables at each location, seating roughly 4 people per table group. Every Chatime accepts credit card (a rarity in the land of bubble tea joints) and has their own points program system which will be tied to your cellphone number. These points allow you one free small sized cup with your choice of single topping for every 10 cups purchased. After purchasing 100 cups total over your entire life, you'll earn Chatime Elite status granting you a free Large sized cup with unlimited toppings plus a free doughnut, per every 10 cups. The doughnuts look adorable but also super dry. Not the greatest perks, but the day you finally hit coveted Chatime Elite status you may find yourself slowly raising up your cellphone in both hands, joyously crying "Nants ingonyama bagithi Baba!!!", presenting your card Simba-style whilst staring deeply and meaningfully into the cashier's eyes. If your experience is anything like mine, they will most likely have no idea what you're talking about. Just take your drink from the counter, walk away slowly, and enjoy your bubble tea. read more

This is one of the only ChaTimes that doesn't have a line forming every time the doors open. It's rather small in comparison and parking can be a pain as it shares the parking lot with a multitude of other tiny restaurants. The wifi connection is amazing here if you're looking for a place to study. The drinks are on par with the ChaTime expectation. ie. The tapioca is always chewy and the grass jelly always fresh. The washrooms and overall store is very clean with the staff cleaning the table and often sweeping the floor. read more

Even during the early evening on a Sunday this location has a decent lineup. They take the time to put a plastic tray in the bag and then put the drinks in for you if you order multiple drinks. Either Chatime Markham doesn't have these trays or they don't bother using them. Either way it's a nice touch rather than just having your drinks rolling around in the bag. read more

I first discovered this place on a hot, sunny summer's day two years ago when all I wanted was a cool drink to cool me down (did I mention I was walking outside for over an hour on a HOT day?) Seeing the sign for Chatime was the greatest thing that happened to me on that walk. The drinks are great! The service can be slow at times, and I have definitely had better bubble tea, but Chatime definitely holds a close place to my heart ever since that hot sunny day. Going in the evening (between 6-8) and later on in the night (after midnight) usually guarantees short, if any lines. First time coming to the newest chatime branch in the GTA area. Even tho the P mall location is pretty close, I guess Scarborough needed one for all the people who need their chatime fix nearby. As usual chatime has the normal line up of drinks they have at all locations. Nothing really special about this one compared to the others. The roasted milk tea which I normally get still tastes the same as any other place but I did feel like it was a bit more watered down than the other times I drank the same drink. And for once! I never had to line up!!!! Since there was barely anyone there which was a surprise. I find that this location parking isn't as tough since the plaza has a shit ton of parking spots. Also got a nice discount since I knew the supervisor there. :) Layout looks the same as all the others. But this one is more spacious in sitting down. As for the other locations there more small and crammy. This location is decent. Not a lot to say much is different for this place than the others. Just that if your around the Midland/Finch area and your craving for a chatime, it's right within that area. read more

Not that many people flock here, so no big line. This location is not up par yet with the Warden and Steeles one, in terms of the drinks always being consistent and customer service wise. But they are still kind of new, so I won't go lower than 4 stars considering Chatime is my favorite bubble tea place. The shop itself is rather small but parking is a lot easier to find compared to some of their other locations in Markham and Scarborough. The Chatime menu is fairly standard offering your staple flavours and toppings. The top 10 list is a good place to start for those who have never been here. I often order the roasted milk tea or the QQ Grape ( not grapefruit!) juice. They often have limited time flavours during the year which are great for those who are looking to switch it up. I've been to this Chatime a few times since it opened. The drinks are good like the other locations, but it needs work with quality consistency. The grass jelly roasted milk tea's roasted taste is not nearly as strong as the ones I've had in the past. Just tastes like regular milk tea with a weird aftertaste. The jasmine green tea is good! Really strong, refreshing, authentic taste. I think they gave me too much coconut jelly as a good third of the cup was filled with jelly. COVID-19 REVIEW- THIS REVIEW IS BASICALLY SPECIFICALLY FOR THOSE ORDERING DURING QUARANTINE I'd like to start with there are well over 10 bubble tea places within the plazas here. Chatime probably has the most variety in a single location but in all honesty their bubble tea is pretty standard and mediocre. Chatime is seriously overrated normally outside of quarantine, in my opinion. I've been to the majority of bubble tea places in that area many times and Ive definitely been served the wrong order more than once, and been given either old tapioca or underdone tapioca more than once (the pearls are hard instead of soft and chewy). However, I do come back to Chatime often because I like that they use at least some real taro for their taro milk tea instead of just powder, which isn't true of most boba places. Currently during COVID19 , Ive ordered from this place 3 separate times and I can tell you for sure... DO *NOT* ORDER WHILE THE SUN IS OUT. Despite seeing about 6 or more employees in the back, the last time I went it took a full hour to see my drink and when I got it and asked when it was prepared apparently it was done 10minutes before despite coming in every 5minutes for the last 20minutes. (I assumed it would take around 30-40minutes due to quarantine, which I think is a fair wait time considering I make bubble tea at home and their tapioca is already prepared... the rest of it takes like 5minutes. But I get it there are online orders, People waiting in lines, whatever, 40minutes after ordering feels like Im being fair) The other time also during this was a far less severe issue to me, the barista got my order wrong and I was a little disappointed as I had waited in line for 30minutes and waited another 15 for the crew to prepare my drink. But both of these times I went around 5-8pm, IF YOU LIKE CHATIME AND WOULD WANT SOME DURING QUARANTINE I WOULD RECOMMEND GOING AT NIGHT. I went once at some point around 10-11pm and the night crew is honestly WAY better. 20-30min wait times despite the line up outside extending PAST the entrance of the shop NEXT DOOR. I've been here twice, for some reason, they're not as fast at the other locations. Some of the employees spend a good amount of time socializing with each other and some customers while a long line forms. I wasn't really impressed. The drinks are so-so. I asked for less sugar (on two different occasions), pretty sure I got normal to more then normal sugar. It was super sweet - not what i ordered (TWICE). Not like the other Chatimes at all. I've always ordered the same drink almost every 8 out of 10 times I go to any of their franchise. I got the honey milk tea with regular honey and asked for it warm. Obviously i knew if I ordered it warm it'd be sweeter since there was no ice to dilute it. However the workers there sloppily put the drink together with no care. Not only that, the people who've ordered before me, the baristas made a mistake on their drink; instead of roasted milk tea, they had mistaken it for regular milk tea. Instead of making a new one, the barista told the lady to pay an EXTRA 50 cents for mistaking it. I'm not mad of their mistake, but usually when someone messes up an order, they should make a new drink instead of CHARGING the customer for their mistake. Anyways, not going here again:p read more

One of the extremely well know bubble tea shops. Costs is relatively the same for every drink, however, there are some exceptions where drinks are even more expensive. This usually applies to their seasonal menus. One of the seasonal drinks I love is their Thai milk tea. It has this distinctive blend of flavours that varies among different people. I find it very milky and creamy, while my boyfriend says it tastes like strawberries. Another one of our go to drinks is the chatime roasted grass jelly, QQ mango juice, their limited edition cookies and hazelnut collections are all good options. Don't forget to get either the chatime points card or vicinity card for special offers, such as free drinks. read more

One of the best boba shops in Scarborough out of all the options out there. Me and my friends usually come here after dinner to get ourself some sweet boba tea. Personally I enjoy the green tea with mousse the most out of 70+ different choices. Service here is decent but be aware that this place does get pretty busy. read more
