He was very knowledgeable and very detail oriented. He showed me everywhere that he would seal for rodent proofing. His pricing was exactly where I would put it. He was able to fit me in in a week and on the day of the job he had 4 guys; 2 of which were family members. They were all very professional and worked very quickly and well. I had a lot of wires and lines running in the attic and was worried some of them would get damaged (I know my fault and they should have been tacked up to begin with) but they worked around them and nothing was damaged. I was also worried about my roof since it was just done with lightweight concrete but no tiles were broken. They setup portable walls that were sealed with contractors plastic sheeting so any dust/contaminants were sealed away and directed at a HEPA filter. They finished the 1300 sqft attic and also the garage attic in about 6 hours and it looked perfect. I was very impressed. They even removed about 50ft of old HVAC piping from the garage attic (when they probably could have left it). I feel like it's very hard to find contractors along with their team that truly take pride in their work in this day in age but Leo and his team are the exception. It helps that it is a family owned and run business which mean they really care about their clients and also the work done. We were new homeowners and had only moved in for less than a month when our AC unit went out. It…read morewas an ancient unit that certainly needed replacement, but when we called The Right Choice, they arrived with the pushiest, sleaziest salesman you could imagine. He immediately insisted (more like demanded) that we needed new ducts as well as a new system. When I told him that we wanted a unit with a higher SEER rating for energy efficiency and lower electric bills, he dismissed my suggestion as if I was stupid for even asking about it. My guess is that they have some sort of deal with Goodman, because that is the brand that they forced on us. What was the grand total you ask? Over $20,000. And that was 8 years ago! Not only did they NOT replace all of the ducts (like they said they would) their installation was the most Mickey Mouse-looking trash I have ever seen. They must have put at least 5 pounds of mastic tape around the unit to try and seal it up and it still leaked cold air after a week of use. These are scam artists masquerading as professionals. Even after that ordeal was over, they would call us constantly, year after year, telling us we needed to pay for a tech to come out and service our system. Besides hosing off our compressor unit with our own garden hose, the only thing their tech ever did was aggressively try to sell us on more services. They never once opened up the unit to clean the coils. They never once topped off the coolant. They never even cleaned out the condensate pipe. 8 years later and I am paying the price with outrageous cooling bills, a leaky unit that is more mastic than air conditioner, and a clogged condensate line that I had to clean out myself (it took about 5 minutes once I had the right tool). Do not let these people into your home. There is a reason that you see so many one-star reviews among the four and five-star ones. Do not disregard those reviews (they are real people). This company will take advantage of anybody who is not particularly knowledgeable about HVAC. They are pushy and rude; they will try to sell you products and services that you do not need. They will continue to harass you with phone calls for years afterwards. Stay away. Stay far, far away.

Unfortunately, this was, without question, the worst contractor experience I've ever had. I found Green Rodent Restoration through Nextdoor after seeing their positive reviews and the mention of potential SCE rebates. Although I later learned I didn't qualify for the rebate, I decided to move forward because the estimate and scope of work made sense. Rony was very thorough in explaining the process. During the attic work, including the insulation installation, my home sustained three separate areas of ceiling damage, including one where a worker stepped completely through the ceiling. When I raised my concerns, the foreman suggested it was because there weren't enough boards in the attic for the crew to walk on. As the homeowner, I hired professionals because I expected they knew how to safely perform this type of work. Before the crew left, I was told the attic fan would need to be rescheduled because of an issue. This only came up after they had already asked me for payment. Had I not pushed back, I believe they would have left without completing a major part of the project. When I questioned it, the foreman was dismissive rather than taking ownership of the situation. What disappointed me most was the lack of respect for my property. The crew shook a blanket full of insulation and debris into my front yard. When Green Rodent Restoration sent a contractor to repair the damage, the experience didn't improve. The contractor used my bathroom without cleaning up afterward, dumped dirty mop water containing soap and debris into my front yard, left drywall dust throughout my home, and I later discovered fresh scrapes on my staircase railing that were not there before. While the ceiling repairs are better than the original damage, they still don't look like a professional finished product. The cleanup and overall attention to detail also fell well below what I expected. In my opinion, Green Rodent Restoration should have had a supervisor or foreman present while the restoration work was being completed to ensure it was done properly. Communication afterward has been equally disappointing, and I have had to follow up repeatedly throughout this process. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Green Rodent Restoration. My advice is to take your time, compare several companies, and don't make your decision based solely on reviews or the possibility of rebates. I only wish I had shopped around more before making my decision.
