    Chatterbox Loaded Mac & Cheese

I love Chatterbox. I normally come just for a drink and a hang. Love that they have games and love their karaoke nights. Always a nice beer selection and I love their espresso martinis. All the food I've tried here has been so good. Love their fries and the mac is so good. Servers are always super nice !

If I'm being so for real these were some of, if not the worst, chicken tenders I've ever had. The fries were equally unremarkable. The taste and texture of both was exactly like the frozen kind when cooked in the oven. I gave one star for ambiance and one star for the kindness of the staff, although the layout is very impractical and the service is quite slow.

Chatterbox Beef Stew with barbacoa beef and mashed potatoes

The food was mediocre at best and heated up in convection ovens of which mine either sat awhile outside waiting for it or it didn't heat up all the way. When it arrived to the table it was lukewarm at best and I had the waitress take it back to be rewarmed, but it came back a little more warm than what it was the first time. My wife's chili con carne was super super hot the opposition of mine. The chatterbox beer was overpriced at $9 a 20 ounce glass that looked more like 16 ounces. The atmosphere was interesting, chairs, couches, Nintendo 64 gaming areas and enough seating for small and large groups. Their pizza looked amazing and I think we should have ordered that instead as I saw them go by us to other tables. The bathroom was in really bad shape. Graffiti written everywhere, the door lock hinge ready to fall off the door and it could definitely use an update and a paint job. The bathroom is a shared one. The bright spot is the service which I give it 5 stars, as our waitress was very patient, attentive, friendly, and prompt in everything she did for the night to each and every table she served. The back entrance door window was cracked as well we noticed on the way out as we were parked down the street. We wished we would have tried their pizza instead as our bill for four of us was $117 and pizzas were under $32 and could have fed four of us. Our mistake but the food could have been made better in my opinion. Not enough mashed potatoes and small portions for $18 & $15 ceramic bowls. They could do a better job of making these or upgrading them with more vegetables.

Very casual pub with excellent food & drinks! Great service & lots of options for GF diners. Love the cozy booths & environs which makes it feel like a real UK pub

Cute place, great neighborhood pub, with board games available! The pretzel and beer cheese appetizer was delicious! We got the Mac and cheese pizza which I did not think was very good... the deep dish crust wasn't good, which I was surprised about, and I don't know it was really hyped on the menu and I wasn't into it.... And I am a big pizza lover especially Mac and cheese pizza. The service was excellent. Nice drink selection.

    Hellcat Inferno Salad

If you can handle a spicy kick, I highly recommend the hellcat inferno salad. It has the initial spice WOW factor but is easily cooled off by the red pepper sour cream and fajita ranch dressing. It's filling, colorful and satisfying - all the things a great salad should be.

This is a very fun, lil hipster bar. Half of it is the bar, the other side is a "fun uncle" family vibe with a small couch corner, big ole TV with some old school video games and regular wall- mounted TVs for viewing. It is a small dark space which can feel a little cramped at times. I really enjoyed their funky menu items. Definitely American comfort focused. I tried the wine and dine chicken. An average serving size I was able to finish without leftovers. I enjoyed the balsamic reduction with the potatoes and mushrooms.

Pub pass visit for new year. Once again we had our grand dog, Millie, with us so we endured a bit chilly but sunny dinner on the patio. Our food was good and service was excellent. I opted for a basic burger and garlic mashed potatoes this time and it was great. My dark beer complimented the dinner well. Parking right in front. Another tasty meal from Chatterbox Pub.

I celebrated my birthday here yesterday. My friends and I hogged several tables for three hours and still received warm, personable attention from the waitstaff (Denise was fabulous!) and owner. They shared birthday cake with us and told us stories of the pub's 100-year history (it was originally a speakeasy with a barber shop in front to disguise it!). We had fabulous food and enjoyed playing games all afternoon. This could become a go-to celebration spot. I also recommend their THC beverages. The blood orange and cardamom flavor was great. Thank you Chatterbox!

We wanted to try a place down the street that was closed on Tuesdays so we ended up here. I'm personally not a fan of the traditional grilled cheese, so I was wary heading in. But while they have what I think of as a grilled cheese, they also have many other things that while grilled and have cheese, are quite different. I had the jerk chicken and it was delicious. The teen had the jalapeno popper and I had some of that and it was fantastic as well. The comments praising the fries were spot on also. This was a fantastic find, and we will be back!

Staff are incredibly friendly I got the Apple Brie which had granny smith apple slices, brie, mozzarella, caramel, and pecans. I enjoyed it but the caramel made it quite sweet and sticky, I would probably ask for no caramel next time I order. The sandwiches come out cut into quarters which makes for great sharing. My friend got the Basil Pesto and it was soooo good, especially with the cup of tomato soup with basil topping. I ended up getting my own cup of soup because it looked and smelled so good! I love a thicker tomato soup. Really liked this place, will be back!

I went with a group of 5 for dinner so we got quite a few dishes, most of which were really dazzling. As a table we got the special appetizer whipped feta drizzled with honey and fluffy pita bread, crispy cauliflower, coconut curry hummus, charred eggplant, seared sea scallops, duck fat fries, lamb sausage pizza, and steak frites. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the dishes they got & shared except for the steak which was over cooked for medium; still edible, but not worth $55. Including 3 drinks and a soda our total came out to $230 which is pretty steep but the quality and quantity of the food I think justifies it (except for the steak). I personally loved the scallops and whipped feta dishes, they were scrumptious. Our server was friendly and accommodating and our food came out not even 20 minutes after we ordered even though it was busy. For a special occasion, I would certainly come here again.

I ordered the Nashville Hot chicken and it was incredible. It was crispy, oversized, extremely hot, I was crying after eating it. My girlfriend got the eggs Benedict, which she loved, and I stole some of. The real star of this restaurant is the donuts and spicy cheese curds though. I would literally travel back to Minneapolis just for those. I think I dream about them in my sleep. The vibe is great inside, it's retro, but not in a try-hard way. Solid service as well they're just so sweet and local. Must try spot if you're visiting Minneapolis.

Egg was severely undercooked - the egg white was gelatatinous and the bread way too thick, ham fatty and subpar, where were you Béchamel? I took a bite of my breakfast and he hands me a box at the end when I asked for the check--not asking if anything is wrong. Two bites out of the spring mix salad and sandwich. Bloody Mary full. $70 for a salad, madame croquette, slow service which is no problem. It's a tiny diner and around lunch time. No worries there. But uncomfortable dining service because we could feel the tension between the server and bartender. Again for me? NBD but my daughter did not appreciate this. The good: the Mediterranean salad was delicious according to my daughter. She had the same thoughts about the Bloody Marys. Super cute beer backs- pony miller high life. I brought the croque madame home and my son loved it. Went on and on about how amazing it was. In all fairness my adult kids loved their food. He did microwave it to cook the egg through. Yes I know I am picky because I worked in the restaurant industry for over 22 years. And I can make better food at home. I just expect a bit more if I am going to drop $70 for two lunch entrees and two drinks. Not including the tip. Bottom line: I would not go back for this very expensive diner that doesn't know how to properly cook simple things. Or chop veg. Or make a drink.
