I took my vehicle over there because it had a couple little dings in the fender and asked for a quote what I got back was a for parts labor, and it look like they up to charge me for the same thing more than once and my quote ended up over $2000 just for a couple little dings in the fender well I thought that to be unbelievable and took it to another shop to get a quote which they quoted me $700 and did a great job so I got the job done for a third of the price that Chaz quoted me I'm still upset about the quote I received, especially after the great job that the other body shop did for me for a third of the price Chaz was gouge me for I would highly recommend not going to Chaz read more

They had my truck in their lot while they were fixing my bumper and left it unlocked in the lot. Someone broke into the lot and stole my dash cam and a few other things! They did replace the dash cam but this should have never happened! Unacceptable! read more

I was totally ripped off by these guys. They repaired a door, but then tried to reuse the trim, which any rookie would have told them doesn't work. The first time they told me it was ready it had additional damage and overspray from another project. I wish I had found reviews on these guys prior to accepting my insurance company's recommendation. Stay away from these crooks. I'm sorry I can't post less than one star. read more

Whatever you do, DO NOT consider Chaz Limited if you need work done on your vehicle. My experience was truly horrendous and I will do anything I can to warn others so they don't have similar things happen. My work truck was damaged and after an estimate and approval from my insurance company, I dropped it off for repairs. The said they needed it for ten days and because of being out of state, I left it for three weeks. When I returned and dropped by to pick it up, some guy drove it around front only to see that they had done NOTHING to fix the damage. When I went inside to find out why, I was told they didn't have it long enough. When I showed them my paperwork that said they needed it for only ten days, they said that the person who wrote that no longer works for the company and they are not responsible to keep their promises. I decided to take my truck to another shop - Lithia Autobody on Old Seward instead. Those guys are true professional! They resolved my truck issues with no problems... But Chaz Limited???? They attempted to bill me over $1,200.00 for parts "restocking" fees while they had my truck in their yard buried under the snow. Of course I declined to pay them and have since discovered they sent my account to collections. No attempt to contact me in advance, just a referral. The collections agency mentioned having several complaints on file against Chaz Limited. I will add mine to this list. My next move is to report Chaz Limited to State Farm for this predatory behavior and also to refer a complaint to the BBB. Lesson learned; some businesses will make mistakes and do right in correcting them. Chaz Limited is not one of these. They will deceive, blame and refuse to take responsibility. The worst experience I've had with ANY business. They do NOT keep their word. They lie directly to your face as well as gas lighting to make matters worse. The vice president rudely mentioned her hatred toward Jesus, the Son of God, as she was screaming at me over the front counter. One lady from the back came to see what the crazy woman was screaming about. Then three males from the back came out. One said "there is three of us, only one of you!!" Very immature and extremely unprofessional! Chaz Limited does not like being called out on their BS! I pointed out the areas they missed, they could care less. Even lied and said they didn't have photos showing the damage, even though I took it to them twice for the estimate. The detail job was horrible. Chaz explained that they had another business take care of the interior cleaning. So that was not their fault either. They explained 10 day turn around... 37 days later still not finished. They forgot to notify the Chevy dealership that the truck was coming and give them the VIN# so the parts could be ordered. (The parts needed were to re-key my 2019 truck) very straight forward. They didn't have to put eyes on it to get the parts coming, as Chaz claimed they did. I talked with Chevy about the confusion. Chevy explained they just needed the VIN and all parts would be ordered and waiting after the body shop and detail shop. Instead my truck sat for a month having nothing done. Hands down the WORST experience I have EVER had with a car shop. Complete lack of communication, Go back and forth on their word, they do not keep you updated. I received my car back 9 days later with repairs not fully complete and had to wait 3 more months for them to complete the repairs- for NO reason. Took 4 moths and two tries for them to fix a passenger door. They also did not inform me when my bumper became damaged in their possession. DO NOT GO HERE. Go literally ANYWHERE ELSE. Fabulous crew- my car was is a minor fender bender. I was worried they wouldn't be able to match the paint. The door looks as good as it did when I first bought it. To top it off they cleaned the inside as well. I would highly recommend Chaz Limited unique collision repair! read more

Brought my car here based on the Yelp reviews and was a preferred shop for my insurance. Glad I did so. Staff was friendly and helpful, brought be to Enterprise when they were too busy to "we'll pick you up". Repairs done on time, only glitch was a puzzling choice to not paint a handle right in the middle of the accident damage that had got nicked (so that's the one star ding), but they arranged to have it fixed another day and it was and everything now looks great. UPDATE: Downgraded one star, my rear defroster hasn't worked since the repair and now I found out that for the past six months I've been driving around with a malfunctioning brake light due to their "repair" of the right tail-light wiring assembly. read more

Chaz ordered the parts that needed to be replaced, after an additional day's delay I took the SUV into their shop. Four-days later I stopped by as instructed to pickup my SUV, guess what still missing a fender. Now the story goes that they received a non-painted fender and they ordered a pre-painted fender...don't know...don't care...now I'm driving a SUV missing a fender...hope they take care of it ASAP...will post update again!! Update: OK, so a week + later we had the missing fender put on our SUV. Seems good to go, but sure took a long time to simply get the fender when supposedly they had ordered it on the front end with all the rest of the parts. I simply would have held off the repair work until they had the correct parts for a one time visit; it's not like I want to live here..... read more

If you use this company, make sure and be very specific on what you need. and when. In the past I have had no problems with them. But this past visit I only needed a lock changed out in my truck. I left it Wednesday morning, They indicated they were not too busy and could get to it soon. They called with a list of parts needed on Thursday late afternoon, and said they could get the parts "locally". I figured that meant "Anchorage, as I knew one other company I took it to first said they found the lock cylinder here in town. I authorized the work on Thursday afternoon. I called late Friday asking the status of the work. I was told they were waiting on parts, and after talking to the office I was told it would be almost a week before they could get parts. No word to me at all about the amount of time for getting the parts. I'll go somewhere else now to make sure the parts are available before I leave my truck for 3 days just to figure out what is needed to be done to complete the repairs. read more

Went in there today for an estimate and the person that reviewed my damages tried to tell me that each scratch was a separate claim. Surprisingly, he commented that he wasn't willing to commit insurance fraud. Insurance fraud? That was an uncalled for insinuation. After that, he called my insurance then I spoke with them and am, of course, getting my auto body repairs performed elsewhere-a place my insurance has inspectors. I hardly every write reviews good or bad but I have to share how wonderful it was dealing with the General Manager Shane and crew over at Chaz. I would highly recommend this company and they now have a forever customer in me. I have no connection with this business in any way and actually would have preferred not to use any body shop at all given the circumstances. Since I did need my car repaired, I am so happy I chose Chaz. I know it's going to be impossible to believe, but I would almost go as far to say my car is better after my repair than it was before it went in! It's important to understand that I own a year-old Audi Q5 and when it was hit recently causing 5k in front-end damage, I was very concerned about who was going to fix it and make sure it was done right. I had heard good things about Chaz on 5th from a coworker so I elected to have them fix my car. Since they are a preferred provider for USAA the process was very smooth to get the car into the shop. I met with the manager and told him up front I would be extremely picky about the gaps and lines on the car and if it was not perfect, I would be expecting it to be redone. He assured me that I need not worry and even took me outside to show me a 2 year old Porsche that had just been worked on by his shop. It looked great. They called me regularly and kept me up to date on the status of the repair. Also, they are very courteous, the shop is clean and lobby is nice to wait in. The job was done pretty close to the time alloted and I could not be any happier. I'm thrilled and relieved my Audi looks as good as new and except maybe an automotive paint professional, I would be surprised if anyone could tell a difference. I have never written a review before just to give you an idea of how easy going I try to be. I had somebody scrape along the side of my car in Feb '22, originally my car was supposed to be worked on in Mar, however due to the parts shortage, shipping delays, short manning, etc my car did not enter their shop until Aug. I was deployed by this point so I didn't really care, because 5 months (returned in Jan '23) should be plenty of time, right? No. I would periodically receive text updates while deployed saying that it would require more time. Eventually they gave me a firm date of 6 Jan, however, get this, they ordered the wrong camera for my side mirror! So now I'm arriving back in Anchorage where for almost a year I've been without a car because of this company. I'm exploring options with USAA on this matter. I cannot for the life of me understand how this has taken so long. All because some new kid in Anchorage slammed in to me, I have been in a never ending hell for a year. Oh my goodness. I own a 2017 Chevy suburban. Brought it in due to a few scratches from a faulty metal gate. Maybe 4 scratches with most being superficial (can easily get buffed out) left my suburban there for about three days. When they called to say that it was done I picked it up only to notice that not only did they not complete the work but they added 10x more scratches than when I brought it in... and did not replace the "suburban" letters?!?! I have not had this vehicle over a year and they made it look 10 years older. I am beyond upset. Taking it back on Monday. They will pay for hurting my baby. read more

Several years ago we had a accident with my wife's Dodge Dakota Sport. Front left side. When we got it back the check engine light was on and the after marked remote start no longer worked. The employees were very rude to her and me when we brought this to their attention. The only reason we used them was the insurance company told us to use them. I had a black strip around six feet long on the bed of my truck. The estimator came out and looked at the truck. She went back in and got a painter to come out and look at the damage. He had a polisher and two different compounds with him. He polished out the stripe right on the spot. It took about 10 minutes to complete the truck. My truck looks great. To show my appreciation, I went to Golden Donuts and brought them a dozen donuts. Great customer service. I highly recommend them. read more

They did not repair my car correctly which caused a gas leak. Threw away" my $2100 worth of rims which were the old parts that I requested. I was treated like an idiot and would not respond to me even though they had been paid by the insurance for tires they did not deliver. 5 months later I hope to get my tires. The kicker is they place a card in your car saying you can contact the owner but the number does not work. They only care about the money not the quality of work, I'm pretty sure the paint does not match as well... My poor car :( The owners daughter argued whether I had called to complain as "there were no notes" I wasted too much time with this company and they claim that the repairs should not be traumatic... I would like to give ZERO stars, but alas it's not allowed... Chaz hasn't been an honest company for several years and they are getting worse as time goes by. My daughter took her vehicle which was damaged while parked, to Chaz based on their statement that they could do the work sooner. Her car had a cracked bumper when she picked it up (no prior damage to bumper). They initially agree to fix it as insurance said they are responsible. After repeated scheduling issues, Chaz claims, on the day repair is scheduled which is btw SIX months after original claim, not to be responsible. They said it was from a prior repair done incorrectly. There was NO prior repair. We have pictures showing NO bumper damage at drop off. The other insurance had already given her a rental vehicle. On top of all that, they KEPT her vehicle for TWO full days only saying they would "let her know" when she could pick up her car! We will be going through OUR insurance this time and subrogating the cost of repairs. Chaz is terrible for trying to rip off young females in our community. NEVER trust Chaz with your business. My took my car here for repair work from a wreck. The body work was good but the mechanical work that was subcontracted is awful . When I got my car back it was making a noise from the wheel that had been repaired. For the last 3 months I have taken the car back repeatedly to find the noise and get it repaired. Finally had them take it to the car dealership to find the problem causing the noise. The original repair on the wheel was done had the wrong size shock bolts and missing parts for the parking brake. I am currently with out a car while waiting on my car to be repaired. Chaz REFUSES to rent me a car while my car is not drivable. I think this is poor customer service. It is not my fault the car wasn't repaired correctly the first or second time I took it to the shop. I feel like they only cared about the money from the repair and not me, the customer. I was told they felt they had been accommodating in facilitating the repairs and didn't feel responsible to provide a rental car while mine is not drivable. I have spent countless hours on the phone with them and the shop to try and get my car repaired. I keep asking to talk to management or corporate but am not allowed to or given the numbers to the offices. read more

WHAT A NIGHTMARE!!! My old roommate was their body technician. He said they'd give me a deal to fix some old vandalism damage. All was rosy at first. Then it took much longer than planned and when finally I got the car back it was a MESS. Visibly two different colors!! My car is black not gray. And the orange peel looked like the reflection from a swimming pool. After complaining long enough they finally fessed up to the fact that at some point in the process they noticed the paint they used didn't match the car. They never bothered to tell me and passed the car off as good as new. They gave me the excuse that I didn't pay top dollar and they thought I was in a hurry. I wasn't. And why would I agree to making my car look worse than when I took it in, for any price? Took another week of hassle and a screaming match with the owner's daughter to settle for them not fixing the improper color, just the myriad of other issues. To this day, my whole door rattles when I turn up the radio because they didn't put it back together properly. A couple months later my car decided to go for a walk, after sitting still for 45 mins, into my neighbor's truck. Dumb luck! Tried Chaz again. Don't ask me why. Guess I felt kinda guilty about the fight. Silly stupid me. The job took much longer than quoted cuz my roommie said it didn't pass inspection after the first go round. I shudder to imagine what that means in reality. The quality was tolerable but I'd learned how useless a fight was. Between Chaz, Lady's, and the dealership, I'd spent months and months fighting to no avail. This is AK. My car will probably get smashed up again in its lifetime and the gray door probably won't matter. Shrug and sigh. USAA customers: Chaz doesn't give a hoot about quality. They are a numbers game. (Most of their employees are barely sober, if you're lucky, and they've been fired and rehired a few times before - I got to hear about all the drama.) Shop elsewhere! read more

One star is almost to much I brought my truck to Chaz and was ripped off, their alignment guy knew my front end needed parts replaced but gave it an alignment anyways and commented it would do no good unless I had him replace other parts as well but charged me for the alignment. My bumper was replaced and they never replaced the broken fog light lens. And the "new" rims they put on don't have working sensors. Stay away from this business. read more

Excellent customer service and knowledgeable staff. Considerate owner who will go the extra mile. Everyone knows that vehicular repair can take awhile, especially if parts need to be ordered. Everything takes a bit longer to get up here to Alaska. So knocking stars on that account isn't really fair. Then no car business would get anything other than a 3-star! I began having difficulties since the beginning of my process. I was originally scheduled to drop off my car on the date they assigned. Once I arrived, and had my ride on the way, they decided to tell me they did not have all the parts in but they should arrive in two days. We decided to leave it there. The car should have taken 9 days to be completed. I have been waiting for an additional 17 business days and my vehicle is still not ready. After my irate call they decided to offer me an alternative part they have been waiting for. Why wait for me to get angry to offer this option, they could have offered me this 33 days ago and would have had my vehicle back in time. It is ridiculous that they have had my vehicle for 35 days. I should have read the other Yelp reviews before choosing Chaz. My partner got into an accident and the collision shop he used had his car back in a week and a half. So far everything looks great on my suv from a repair after I rear ended. The shop was about 6 days ahead of schedule and everything looks great and they even take the time to wash and vacuum your vehicle after all is said and done. Customer service was great and they were excellent about keeping me informed of the progress. They were patient when I wanted to make sure that my insurance claim was complete prior to starting any repairs. I would go there again for sure. read more

I took my new car here after USAA convinced me that it was a good choice. Additionally, if I took my car here for the repairs, USAA would cover future issues related to the accident. I cannot believe USAA is linked to this company. In 17 years of service, this is my first insurance claim with USAA, although the accident was not my fault, I found the entire process to be overwhelming and frustrating. It took 60 days for them to perform the $17k in repairs. When they finally called me to pick up my car, there was a dent in the door that was not a result of the accident. They promised to fix it but again, another delay. I was told they would blend the old paint with the new and instead they simply clear coated over all the rock chips on my hood! I also found several places where the new parts did not line up the same as before, the gas tank cover plate stuck out unlike before. I have traded this car since I was not satisfied with the repairs and completely frustrated with the quality and timeliness of the work. I can't help but think if I would have taken this car to a different body shop it would have been a total loss. I feel like somehow they try to keep the costs down for USAA and their quality of work shows it. I will never, ever, ever take another car here. The only positive was the update calls on Tuesday and Thursday, other than that go somewhere else. USAA should seriously consider who they make business relations with. I am disappointed in USAA for the first time in 17 years. read more

What a horrible place to have my truck fixed. It was taken there after my insurance adjuster recommended them. They did get it done a few days ahead of Schedule but.... After picking it up and driving it a few blocks to home this went bad. They forgot to hook up some hose so as I got home, the oil light went off and it seems that all the oil had came out. I called Dana up and they sent a toe truck over to get it and fix. After picking it up I realized the window didn't roll down so I called again. I had to make an appointment to take it back in. They repaired it but also did not install the door panel right. The gasket is hanging out the bottom and they appear entry just glued it back together as the glue they jested is coming out from around it. There is something seriously wrong with the whole front end and after setting for several months I have tried to get it back in. Well they either don't have the time and space or they just won't call me back. How shitty. Dana was my contact person there and now they won't do anything. They slapped it back together, got the almost $11,000 for the repairs and now just kick me to the curb. I called and tried to talk with somebody higher up in the anchorage office but they never return my messages. A real crappy company and I highly recommend going somewhere else. I must spend several thousand more and take it somewhere else for repaires. read more
