Our vehicle has been there since May 14th original date of drop-off was March 20th we have been told several dates that it would be done even in the notes it said this time it would be done on Monday june15th . When I call the customer service is poor no apologies for not having the car done on time and now the new pickup date is supposed to be the 25th or a couple days after but they can't be sure the receptionist Serria said ,several times just silence on the phone . Customer service is lacking greatly. A few years back I used this location and they were much Kinder and got things done on time . Should've read the reviews first. My 2024 Ram with low mileage, 20,000, in excellent condition before the crash, came back with: Dents on the floor where parts were placed, and ruined it. I would not use! My aunts vehicle was vandalized along with other vehicles on the lot- stolen cats cut tranny lines. Their response? Brand new vehicle has sat at CHAZ since Nov. 2023. Variety of reasons it was never ready. 3-4 weeks ago we're told it was sent to another facility as all parts in. When that facility contacted they said their work was completed 10-12 days prior. returned to CHAZ and were told there was body damage to vehicle since it was returned to them. "Tow truck hit it". now vehicle sits there waiting for CHAZ to fix CHAZ problem. They made the decision to bill USAA (our ins company) for this damage which was in no way included or part of the original vehicle issue. And they were paid. Am th8nking that is insurance frau. How do we know exactly what damage was done while the vehicle sat at CHAZ. The new vehicle payment continues due every month as well as rental car payment. It took 2 months from the time I booked repairs before I could even drop off my car. Then my parts got lost, and it took them 7 weeks to finish the repairs on my car. Horrible customer service and do not recommend find a different body shop to go to read more

Terrible service, I understand the world is short staffed but they can't come through with what they say they will do. I wouldn't leave a bad review just cause it is taking them so long, but they have told us 2 false dates for finishing. The last one was"yes it will absolutly be ready for pickup tomorrow" we called and the staff said it won't be ready till the next day. We are going out of our way with work schedules and getting rides sorted out to pick up our vehicle, and they dont give a shit that they lie to us and it's incredibly frustrating. read more

I did a stupid thing and backed out of the garage with the passenger back door open. I stopped by Chaz in Wasilla. I didn't want to as a woman I was afraid they would be rude and rip me off. They were so kind and friendly. They took my car right in while I drank a great cup of coffee and fixed my door good as new for Free!. Love this place! We have taken cars to Chaz before and had good luck but not this time and we will NEVER go there again. 9 days ago we took our car to Chaz for minor repairs. We were told the car would be done in 4 days and we are still waiting. They have promised to return our calls numerous times and do not do so. When we call they don't provide an answer and say they'll call again in 5 minutes but don't. Today the manager told us we should have been told it would take 10 days. We're just not sure if we should have been told that by the first person at Chaz or the 10th. These folks have lost a customer. We will never return and we hope you have an option to choose someone else too. read more

I was in Anchorage recently and unfortunately had a small fender bender with a friends car. I wanted to get the car fixed as soon as possible. Cece at Chaz was wonderful! She was able to work with my insurance company and get the car in right away. I had to leave town but my friend told me the car was done when promised. Repair was better than new !!!! So I was in a hit and run. Used insurance to repair my vehicle through Chaz. This location has the express option. All I had to do was drop my car off, my rental from enterprise was waiting and after almost 2 months my vehicle is brand new again! I will say the crew at this location are amazing, given I don't live in anchorage and only was able to come down on a certain day and pick up my vehicle, they did an amazing job getting my vehicle back to me when I needed it after a decent amount of time that they had my vehicle, which indeed matched the damage on my vehicle between the two claims. They were even willing to come in on a Saturday to ensure I got my vehicle before Sunday. I was told I would have to visit the Chaz where I live to get my vehicle detailed and buffed which was awesome with the flexibility and ensuring everything was completed. But I got there today and it was all done and a day early! I will also say that the amount to fix the the damage was surprisingly lower than what I'd imagined especially for needing 2 doors on one side repaired plus one on the other side plus, the entire quarter panel, suspension components as well as light assemblies and my entire backing/ blind spot and parking sensor system replaced Along with the bumper. I also called a lot to get updates (twice a week) which they usually do on tuesdays and thursdays except where I called Monday's and Thursday before they could call me and they never seemed standoffish or bothered. I really appreciate the service, work, and hospitality that the crew at Chaz on old Seward showed me. I will always go back! read more

Went to their web site to schedule an appointment for last Monday. I was able to make a appointment for 10 am. Went to my appointment and their door was locked and they were closed for business. I thought someone was going to call me back to reschedule but no. I called to make another appointment and customer service person had a terrible attitude and said they never make appointments from the web site. I inquired about bringing this issue to management. She said they were booked anyway on the day I was available. She didn't seem interested in helping and was argumentative. read more

When a company prepares a quote for a repair, it should include everything, not just a portion. They are the worst, overpriced, horrible auto body business I've had to work with and their work is shoddy. DO NOT GO HERE! I had let Chaz limited on Old Seward to work on my vehicle. It's been at their shop over a month and my truck is still not complete. Their time frame for my truck supposed to be done is 12 business days and they told me some dates my truck will be done and I called for those days and they said had some loose ends. The estimator is hard to get a hold of. Hadn't recieved emails from estimator on updates of vehicle. Very poor customer service and prolonged repair service. read more

Wow!!! Idiots!!! These guys just let about $4000.00 walk out the door! I've taken newer vehicles here, just because that's where the insurance company sent me. I just bought a 1990 Jeep Grand Wagoneer (Woody-my dream truck) with some surface rust in the usual spots. Nothing was rusted through-just wanted to make an appointment for an estimate to get a few MINOR dents knocked out, and repaint the whole thing (original color). Apparently these guys trust the twenty-something receptionist to walk out take a 3 minute glance at the car and tell me nothing can be done...mmmkay. On top of that she was pretty free with her opinions about my baby. "You drove up in the really old car, right?" With a wrinkled nose; I chalked this up to youthful ignorance. And while I get that some people don't appreciate "Woody" the way I do-who the hell does she think she is?!?!? For all she knows that car could've had sentimental value. What if it'd belonged to a family member that had passed??? Don't waste your time unless all your looking for is someone to bolt on a fiberglass fender....one star because I can't give less. read more

A couple of weeks ago I was hit in a parking lot so took it in for an estimate...just the rear fender was dented and the estimate was almost $3k so I got a 2nd estimate. I would strongly suggest to avoid this company at all costs. I recently took my car here for some minor body repairs; however, when I picked my vehicle up somebody had attempted to steal my stereo out of the dash, they successfully stole other items such as dvd's, my insurance and registration as well. After talking to management at this location it was clearly evident that an employee had done this. At first management said they had a brash of break-ins, and then followed that comment up with "well we just recently fired an employee for something similar to this." I had to get the police involved and get a report for documentary purposes. After they said they would fix the damage done caused by them, the store manager Cece called me. She went on to say they would cover the costs, and then tried saying someone cut through the chain link fence and happened to stumble upon my vehicle which might have been accidentally unlocked by an employee who was checking the lot at night. I have now waited three and half weeks for the parts to come in to fix the damage caused by them and still no progress. This has got to be the most unprofessional, disorganized, and shady company I have ever encountered. I would highly suggest avoiding this company, and if you don't believe me read through the several horrendous reviews left by many others. I've been taking my cars and trucks to Chaz for over 20 years. Last month I had repair work completed on my car that was satisfactory. I find that my expensive Oakley sunglasses had been stolen from my sunglass holders in my car. Unfortunately I forgot to remove these as a precaution before having the repair work. I've never had theft from my vehicles from service work or body repair ever in my 40 plus years of driving. I called the acting manager. He told he would talk with the permanent manager when she returned. I called a week a later he still hadn't addressed the issue. He said he would talk to the permanent manager the following week. Been close to two weeks since I talked to them and no word. Even the phone number on the "Thank You" card left in the car to call if not satisfied didn't work. Sorry no referrals from me. I will tell all my employees not to use these guys. I'm done with this company. read more
