I'll probably give it another try because the bread was so good. French onion soup. I was told they were out of the croutons for the soup, and I was fine with that. But what I got appeared to be Au Jus (extra salty and dark) with melted cheese and a couple pieces of raw red onions. Incorrect preparation. 2 of the 5 items were made wrong (and that doesn't include the French Onion). The receipt was correct so the mistake was in the kitchen. On the receipt it's hard to quickly tell what is supposed to be excluded or added. Maybe they can improve readability on the food ticket to help the chef. Long wait for replacement item. It seemed they put our re-make order at the end of the line instead of up next. read more

My friends and I just picked up our subs and we normally have a good experience. But the guy in the pick up station with the piercings all over his face was extremely rude and ruined the experience for me. I have Crohn's disease so I have to have modifications on my order. But we walked in on Tuesday May 28 at 7, and the rude gentleman said nothing and we stood there for a minute and we finally said we have a pick up for... and he rudely handed us the order and then he gave us a dirty look asked who is ..... and was rude because I have a disability and have to substitute my order. And he forgot my avocado which is supposed to already have it on there it was not added and the cheese. read more

While visiting Dallas a few months ago, my daughter bought me a sandwich from Cheba Hut. Although I don't remember which sandwich, I remember how delicious it was. I didn't know Cheba Hut was in the Las Vegas area. Recently, I was leaving TJ Maxx and I noticed the Henderson location and was so excited to get another sandwich. All I can say is OMG! Delicious, and the restaurant is very big and open great for a quick lunch meeting. The 8" is the perfect size.

The food here is so amazing, my girlfriend and i have been coming here three times a week since we first tried it. The actual store is so cool, with a ton of pop culture references littered around. Finally, the employees here are all so cool. They have fast service, and are all super welcoming and chill. Kav in particular is doing an incredible job, but I've never had a bad experience with any of the employees. I HIGHLY recommend this place. read more

Sammiches are bomb. Staff was friendly and helpful. Vibe is not like the Cheba on Durango. Music was way too loud and no reggae at all. Just hip hop and rap. Prefer the the mellow vibes and atmosphere at Durango so I'll keep going to that one. read more

I've only eaten at a Cheba hut once before, my coworker convinced me to try it so I reluctantly joined in on my lunch break. Unfortunately I would've been better off eating nothing because my experience was horrible. The theme is cool and the music was great but it was all a facade. I ordered an Ak-47 with extra meat which is labeled as a French dip, I've never had a worse sandwich in my life. The meat was ice cold and for a toasted sub shop you'd think they could get temps right. Not to mention raw mushrooms the size of my thumb and enough onions to feed a small village, also uncooked. If a "toasted" sub is toasted by putting it in the broiler for five seconds to let the cheese melt then we have some serious problems. Never will I ever indulge in a Cheba hut sandwich again, my sub wasn't toasted, and I could've easily made something ten times better at home within the same time frame. I will state the best part of the sandwich was in fact not even the sandwich at all, but the au jus. The service was pretty typical, but I tipped after the iPad "asked me a few questions" just to have my sub ice cold. Cheba, we could've had something great, we could've been close but you missed your chance. Farewell, it is time I move on. read more

I've been coming to Cheba Hut for years and years now and never had any kind of problems or issues until today. Ordered our subs online, customized them to our liking, and apparently, that was too much for them to follow. The add-on items were not added on but charged for anyway naturally. When I went into the shop to pick up the order, the girl spent 5 minutes looking for the food under a different name. Then I started getting questioned if I ordered it from the right shop. Yes, I know how to order food online and from the correct place.Secondly, they almost got the ingredients into the bread, sloppyist sandwich I ever had from there. They couldn't even roll it up in the foil correctly. Juices leaking out of it, more than half the ingredients of both the sandwiches were hanging out of the bread and not from being over stuffed either. Overall, it's not the best experience I've had with eating here, but hopefully, they can get it together and not make themselves look like they don't know what they're doing it's only guys sandwiches guys it's not that hard to get it right. read more

I gave a positive 5 star review last week and I have to lower it, because we spent over 120 dollars and were rushed out 30 minutes before closing. It was very upsetting. We were meeting up with my son who lives in Henderson, because my dad just passed away the night before. Please don't rush your regular customers away. We still love the marketing and some of the people are cool, but when the main guy in charge of the kitchen rushes you out, it's very disappointing. We will try another location. We won't give up on Cheba Hut yet. read more

I've come to this location quite often since they opened! Yay! They are always amazing; and today i came for my 30 min lunch (i work across the street) and they are BUSY - yes I'm sitting here right now- and when i walked in a young lady was making her way through the line if people waiting for pick up orders and asking us each how long we've been waiting. Explaining along her way that she was sorry and they were short staffed. She got to me and i told her i hadn't been waiting long but i was on lunch. She left and came back up to me and apologized again and told me she could have my sandwich for me within 20 minutes and asked if I was OK with that or if I would like a refund. I told her I was fine with that and told her thank you and they managed to get my sandwich out to me in 16 minutes and I just wanted to say that they handled the rush very well even as I witnessed other customers getting angry and upset with them they continued to be professional and polite! 10 out of 10 would recommend for both food and service!! read more

Further impressions include female staff with T-shirts and no bras...breasts flapping around, all staff dressed like gangsters, and nobody had a hairnet on.
