I'm giving Griddlecakes a full five Yelpin' stars. Do they have set vegan options? Nope. Did that stop them? Also nope. They were willing to actually make a dish vegan for us, and that effort alone earns respect. And plot twist... it was actually good. Like, "we'd order this again" good. Throw in a great location and that's a wrap. Ambience is on point...very cozy and quaint. Effort matters, flexibility matters, and when a place is willing to try instead of shrug, they've already won. Five stars, no hesitation. read more

Seating is tight, but staff & food is amazing! Gluten free portions are large & worth every penny. I got the GF Veggie scramble & added meat & avocado. Sprinkle of salt & hot sauce and every bite was gone. Our kids loved the flower shaped Belgian waffle & mickey shaped griddle cake. Huge portions, but clearly delicious because (under 6 y/o) and they ate over half it. Benedict my husband ordered looked amazing & he said the Belgian waffle was much better than normal waffles. The variety on the menu, friendly & allergy conscious staff make this an excellent brunch stop. read more

Hey Foodie friends, I just love something new , limited, tasty, & beautifully plated. Today I had my first hot cocoa of the season. Peppermint with whipped cream and sprinkled peppermint. Tasty and loaded with whipped cream. I had to try the pancake flight. I'm so glad I did. You can choose three different flavors for your tasting. I ordered the Monkey business, raspberry and blueberry lemon stacks. All good. Raspberry had the best flavor factor if I have to choose a favorite. You can just order pancakes or you can add on eggs and a meat. I ordered applewood sausage and made it a combo. Yum! I will be back soon and I want to try the waffles. This is a great spot for locals. Not crowded with tourists and the prices are fair, not crazy. The decor is cute and they have inside and outside seating with umbrellas. So there are options. I like that you can see into the kitchen and that they have a board with the current special breakfast items. Our waitress was super sweet & friendly. She took really good care of us. One of the coolest things about living in the Las Vegas area is the sheer astronomical number of restaurants you can go visit. I'm not talking about chains, even though there are plenty of those. I'm talking about the amazing little mom and pop shops all over the valley. Griddle cakes is located off Eastern in Henderson. It's tucked away in a little shopping center but don't let the small exterior fool you. Once you walk through the doors, this place has plenty of booth and table seating. We were told by our server that this was the original location, apparently there are four, and they have been there for 17 years! That should tell you something right there. Staff was super friendly, helpful, and upbeat. They were quick to give recommendations. And nothing we had was disappointing. They let you do mixing and matching on the pancakes, I highly recommend the regular buttermilk, and the lemon blueberry. Both are amazing choices. Now I don't normally wax poetic about home fries, but these were simply amazing. Of special seasoning. They put on them, but they were some of the best potatoes I've ever had. I couldn't stop eating them. And on top of that, the restaurant passed the patented Dan Leadbetter's milk with breakfast test with flying colors. Honestly I don't have anything bad to say about this place... The only interesting thing was the bottles of syrup on the table are incredibly slow. But that may be a good thing. Otherwise my pancakes would be swimming in syrup! The bottom line? This place is on my short list of places to go, and bring people who come into town. You can't go wrong with griddle cakes! read more

Love when we get the opportunity to try new breakfast places ! Near the area we saw this place pop up on our maps and gave it a try the service was good staff was welcoming and we didn't have to wait for a table . The food didn't take too long and was good but not as fluffy as i hoped the pancakes are big so definitely great for sharing . The potatoes were our favorites very savory and were perfect temperature .Lots of choices so next time were near ill try different ones thanks again ! read more

I love trying new places. I have always seen Griddlecakes but have never had the guts to try it as the one by my house has horrible reviews. Well, lets just say those reviews were wrong. The services here is great and the food was good. It did lack a little flavor on the hamburger meat but thats okay. The fries were crispy, the ranch was good. The hashbrowns were cooked perfectly and the biscut and gravy had great flavor. Come here and check this place out. Also good pricing on the food. read more

Every time we are in Vegas do breakfast, we always hit up Griddlecakes. The food is always good, and fresh. Loved the fruit and yogurt, but the PB Banana pancake takes the cake! The restaurant was warm and welcoming. You choose your seat when you walk in the waiters are all very nice. The environment is very comfortable. We got the crab benedict, country combo, and churro waffle. We didn't wait long for our food and it all tasted great - definitely try the churro waffle! The texture and flavor were amazing - I didn't particularly like the amount of butter in the middle, but that's just my preference. read more

We were craving some yummy breakfast so we headed over to Griddle cakes in the Eastern Promenade, off Eastern and 215. Service was friendly and inside was super busy. They have outside seating as well, but it was cold outside so we opted to sit indoors. We ordered the chicken and waffles and the peanut butter chocolate pancakes. It was our first time getting pancakes there and wow! They were huge. We made the mistake of getting a double stack and we didn't even make a dent in it. But it was super yummy with the fluffy pancakes. Chicken and waffles were good, but would love to have had hot sauce or something spicy to help with all the sweetness on the table. We sat in for brunch, I had some biscuits and gravy and my friend had a garden skillet. And had coffee while we caught up. I loved the high tables and chairs, I'm short so high tables and chairs make me feel tall The service was fast, efficient, and friendly. Our food was made and served quickly, our coffee never went empty, and the suggestions was awesome. I recommend this place if you're in the area, they're a great experience to share. read more

One thing I really wanna review here thats not your typical thing: their chicken noodle soup was SO GOOD. So hearty and homey. Id love to request this when Im sick haha. Passing through town and we visited this place this morning for a quick breakfast. We are trying to stay away from the big corporate breakfast restaurants. And try more small family owned breakfast restaurants. And boy did we find a Gem in Griddlecakes. The menu had a large selection of so many different items. The food was amazing. The portions were large. The service was top notch. And the prices were very reasonable. Try it out, you will not be disappointed. We will definitely be back when we come through again. read more

I came into Griddle cakes for breakfast and enjoyed it a lot. Very comfortable cozy setting. I had the French toast which was my favorite. Not too sweet, and 1 piece of toast was very filling. I also had a carne asada breakfast burrito. It was coated in cheese & had eggs, with onions, fries, and cheese in the inside of it. I loved everything about it. Great service and reasonable prices. My wife ordered the big Nevadan and I ordered the jackpot. the food was substandard. They forgot my griddle cakes they came with the jackpot and I had to ask for them. When the were brought to the table they were under fine. When I told the waitress she said 'oh that's too bad' and offered nothing else. The food overall is less than mediocre. The biscuit and gravy was bland and doughie and the skillets were over salted. You live you learn. I would recommend you look elsewhere for breakfast options . read more

Service was excellent here. Very friendly and attentive. Menu was pretty simple not a ton of choices but typical breakfast items and some fun types of pancakes to choose from. I was just happy they offered gluten free pancakes! Everything was good. It's over priced in my opinion but I think inflation is causing everyone to raise prices and so I rarely see that many good deals for breakfast like back in the day where you found lots of 5.99 or 7.99 places I think those are pretty much all gone. Especially if not on the strip or something downtown. But having said that we did spend way too much for a simple breakfast for me just eggs and toast and a kids pancake and juice something like $45.00. read more

The food was good, I had a gluten free waffle. The service was fine. The ambiance was bad. When I came in the music was nice and quiet. I had come in hoping to do some reading while I ate lunch but then the music was turned up real loud. I asked for it to be turned down. They turned it down a little bit. I said I would leave then. They said the manager wants it this way. Well, I ate my food but gave up on reading. So, I probably won't be back unless I'm looking for a noisy environment. read more

I decided to try this place out this wknd and I must say it was very good. They have a variety of different types of pancakes. I went with the peanut butter one which has bananas on it. The pancakes are very big and the prices on the menu were very good. Service was very fast and prompt. It's a small spot so you may want to call ahead or join the waitlist to avoid the crowd. They do have an outside patio as well. I highly recommend this place and will be going back. read more

This is a small and casual brunch spot. There is indoor as well as outdoor seating and is located in a plaza with other shops so there is plenty of parking. The food was pretty good. I have been here multiple times and have ordered breakfast and lunch. I would say The Mrs. Grilled Cheese and the waffles with strawberries added have been my favorite items so far of things I have tried. I was not a fan of the pancakes. I felt like they were a bit underwhelming in the flavor department and the flavor was mostly from the syrup. But everything else was good. Service was great. We got checked on multiple times. From AZ, came off the strip to find a local spot for Breakfast and this place did not disappoint! Husband had the breakfast high roller burrito, I had the Gordo skillet and both were amazing!! We also share the lemon blueberry griddle cake and it was so delicious even without the fancy topping. This place was outstanding! If you are looking for a good local spot.. this place is it! Used to love coming to this little breakfast place. Went monday morning before doing a little shopping. Walked in.Got my usual table , wasn't too busy. The server walks up to take my order. I asked her if mykayla was working today.She always takes great care of me.She informed me she was no longer working here , had a little smirk on her face. I said so sorry to hear she is no longer here.She took my drink order and walked away without seeing anything. Comes back with my drink to take my order.I always order the parfait with no banana.She kind of had to attitude like that's all i'm ordering. When my parfait arrived and had banana in it , I didn't say anything , she seemed to be annoyed. I ate my parfait paid my check.I don't think I will be back.The place is not as friendly as it used to be. read more

She made sure our drinks were always full, got our order perfect, and even had great recommendations especially dealing with such a large group that we came in with. We came on a Sunday around 1pm. It wasn't too busy. We must've missed the lunch crowd which was perfect for us. Excellent and attentive service. Everything about this place was just okay. Food was bland and had limited customization options. The service was poor. They kept walking by our table but hardly checked on us. It took a while to get the check and we were unaware you had to walk up to the register to pay. This would've been nice to know when they dropped off the check. It has potential to be better but the people just make you not want to return. read more

A small cafe style restaurant that specializes in griddle cakes. The offering of gluten free cakes is what brought us here. They did not disappoint. For obvious reasons they took longer than other food but tasted amazing, hot and fresh. The monkey business was so good. The French toast was also good. The service was impressive. Been coming here since 2008 when the place used the be called The Griddle. Never disappoints and is the best breakfast place in town. I need a punch card lol The services is always great, pretty straight forward, small mom and pops place. This is my go to spot every time after my bodybuilding competition, I always get the lover pancakes and the garden skillet. I also love bringing friends and family here. read more

I ordered the American burger and was not impressed, had to have it and the fries sent back because both were so salty. They did remove this from the bill so that was much appreciated. The waitress was super sweet, yet the service felt pretty slow for it not being very busy. Overall I would return!

All this while the manager is laughing it up with this couple at the bar...while facing us. Made eye contact with him several times and the way he was friendly with these other customers was not the same service he was giving to anyone else. He saw us without drinks, saw us with menus and no one approaching to take our order and still did not move from the behind the bar, but was also seen helping with drinks for everyone seated at the bar....when there were already 2 bartenders there. The food was okay, but I was already so frustrated with the lack of service and the service we did get was severely lacking....I just wanted to finish eating and leave. A friend brought up going back to watch one of the VGK playoff games since it's close to where we live, but I just could not be convinced to go and deal with such poor customer service again. It's a bummer because they have a lot of nice seating surrounding the bar...but the service seems to be focused on people sitting at the bar. Oh well! Plenty of other bars in the area!

He apologized and said he could help us. My wife and I both wanted a bud light draft, we continued to look at them menu and he returned with our drinks and introduced himself as Kyle and said he would help us and apologized again. Kyle recommended the filet as I like a good steak and my wife had the steak salad but with salmon which Kyle recommended her fish to be cooked medium. My wife appreciated him explaining what a medium cook would be like for her salmon. We had some wonderful conversation with Kyle and he made sure to check on us periodically as we enjoyed our time out on this special occasion. As we were winding down dinner and I wanted to smoke I noticed the patio party was wrapping up so I stepped out through the patio gate. We really enjoyed our date night / my birthday celebration at Black Mountain Grill and we really appreciated how Kyle apologized with no ego and checked on the other tables around us to make sure that they were all taken care of too. Congratulations to him for his daughter's graduation from UCLA this Wednesday. We look forward to coming back again and seeing Kyle he was fantastic and very playful with his staff and that's something you do not see a lot of from management these days.

The app estimated a 10-20 minute wait, and by the time we arrived about 15 minutes later, we were taken straight to our table. We ordered the Traditional Breakfast and the Tri-Fecta Breakfast, and we were shocked by the size of the pancake -- huge! Everything was absolutely delicious and cooked perfectly. One of the little touches we really appreciated was having a carafe of coffee and water right on the table so we could refill as needed without constantly needing to flag down staff.
