I took my most favorite Aunt to Cheddars tonight as we were both in need of a relaxing locale for a tasty meal after a long & trying week! And man-o-man was that the absolute right choice for us this evening! The pleasant atmosphere began before we even entered, as multiple guests helpfully held the double doors for us as we gingerly made our way, walking cane in hand! The respect and care was heartwarming. We were greeted by a very sweet & courteous hostess, who was patient and kind as she escorted us to our table, not rushing us along in the process. In no time at all, our wonderful Server Shelly introduced herself & commenced to provide us with warm, & friendly service for the entire visit. Of course she saw us settled with the tasty croissant and delivered our refreshing fruity iced teas as we ordered our entree... She provided attentive, caring service throughout our meal. We chose the traditional, home-cooked comfort food choice of meatloaf; homemade mashed potatoes , complete with brown gravy, & accompanied by a side of homemade coleslaw! Just perfect all the way around! We could not leave without rounding off this visit with some sweet treat, albeit, we didn't have much room to spare...Soooo, Shelly to the rescue!...We requested simple scoop of smooth & creamy ice cream drizzled with chocolate fudge...it was perfect!!..& out To Go iced teas topped it all off for our return trip home! I LOVE!! Second time I am writing a review for Cheddar's. I love it. For $15 total, I ate with my mom. (we were full) I love how the place is, the lights are low and the seats are comfortable. Once again Cheddars, you hit a home run. We came during lunch time and our server Montana killed it. She was very nice and attentive and sought all of our needs. I don't think I've been to a Cheddars in a really long time. I was excited to try it when my friends suggested a place for dinner. The menu was giving me serious Bennigans vibes. Am I admitting to being old that I'm remembering the long-ago-defunct Bennigans chain? Anyway, there's a potato soup and a Monte Cristo sandwich. Since I was envisioning Bennigans, I ordered both the Monte Cristo and Potato Soup. So the soup was pretty good, but not amazing, and definitely not like what I remember Bennigans to be like. The sandwich was also really good, very rich - almost too rich. I thought the preserve dipping sauce was too tart. Overall, the sandwich gave me the Bennigans experience I thought I wanted. My BF has been telling me I needed to try a Cheddars burger so I finally agreed to it! We went for dinner and it was busy but we were seated quickly without a wait. The croissant is a cute idea and was yummy. We had the appetizer sampler which came with a few dips for the chips and some chicken tenders. Wowww it was absolutely delicious and you get your moneys worth which is very important in these times. The actual burger was massive and soooo tasty ! I got mushrooms on with it which came on the side and they were also very good. The fries are decent, nothing special but the burger makes up for it. I wish they had more options for cheeses because if they had pepper jack it would have been even better. Our server McKayla was on the ball and we appreciated that she gave us our space but still made sure we were taken care of. I've been to other locations, but this was my first time at this one and i brought my parents along to experience it for their first time. It was my Mom's birthday. Our waitress was ok, but she kept forgetting things we'd asked for & we found ourselves waiting long amounts of time for simple things like forks, napkins, sauces etc. They also don't offer anything special or even a song for birthdays. First it was the waitress Shannon, she was one of the best waitresses, I have had in a very long time. she was friendly and very polite throughout the whole time. the food was excellent. I ordered a T- Bone steak and it was cooked perfect, just the way I wanted. the best T-Bone steak I have eaten around here, better than Texas Roadhouse. the croissants they give you at the beginning it was so good. my Wife and Mother ordered the Salmon with the bourbon sauce, and they loved it. Fabulous! My girlfriend and I, both in our 80s, were thrilled with our visit to Cheddar's in Brooksville, FL, last Friday. Everything about our meal in the early afternoon was thoroughly satisfying. We were greeted at the door by a very friendly, smiling young lady who led us to a cozy booth in the bar area. The surroundings were very nice and despite the fact that there were a lot of customers all around, we had no trouble having a quiet conversation at our table throughout the meal. Service was prompt and friendly. The food we ordered arrived not long after we ordered. The presentation was beautiful and both meals came steaming hot from the kitchen. All of the food was delicious and more than we could eat. We carried away takeout boxes with the leftovers and enjoyed having the same meals again the next day. The meals we had, lemon whitefish over rice and a classic fish fry, were both outstanding and truly unique. I cannot recommend this wonderful restaurant strongly enough. My wife, my son and I visited the Spring Hill restaurant for the first and last time last Sunday. It was not busy and we were seated quickly, but the table was dirty and I had to go back to the hostess and get a bus boy to wipe the table down. The manager Dan that was there was very inconsiderate and unprofessional. I had an emergency call and had to wrap up my time there and take me and my sons food to go. As I went outside to take the call after paying and tipping the very nice waitress, I left my son behind with my sister and instructor my 12 year old son to bring out the food. My son came out to check if I was ok and left the food which was in a to-go box and bagged on the table. When i realized he didn't come out with it ibhad him go back in and get it. We'll my son came back and they they throw it away and we were only outside for 5 mins. I went inside and asked to speak with a manager, I explained to Dan that we weren't gone for more than 5 mins and our food that was barely eaten got thrown out. Instead of having world class customer service and providing a great experience, his response was "we'll they bust the tables and threw it away and that's not our fault". I've never been treated this way, Dan made no effort to find a solution but instead be nasty and hostile towards me with not an once of empathy in his tone. Waited for about ten minutes until we called a waitress and then they gave us the wrong sides. Just had dinner this week at this Cheddars. We were greeted upon walking in and were immediately taken to a booth. After looking over the menu our server Shannon, took our drink orders and delivered some warm croissants...The server was outstanding. She made recommendations....I ordered the Chicken and Shrimp with two sides and my wife ordered the half rack of ribs with two sides. My dish was fine. Ribs were advertised on menu as "fall off the plate." Shouldn't they be "fall off the bone? "Ribs were dry..,hardly any sauce on them. Disappointing! The glass partition between our booth and the kitchen was very dirty....floors were unkempt. Overall a disappointment but gave extra star because of the server. First impression of this location was very nice. Decor is dark but very clean and very nice! Staff was extremely friendly. Our waitress was extremely kind, attentive and got everything perfect. I am said I didn't remember her name as I would have loved to given her a compliment! It is also a kid friendly location, my son quite enjoyed his meal! We had the Croissants and they were absolutely amazing! Even my extremely picky son loved them! We ended up getting two orders! I got the lunch special so I ordered the Potato soup and original burger. The soup was again absolutely amazing! I felt the burger could have been much more juicer. It was not the worst burger I had but I also didn't want to finish it. I did try my son's chicken tenders and French fries and they too were Amazing so it may have been just a over cooked burger. Lesson learned: I will no longer sit at a table with "Ziosk." For a little over $3,000 per year, Ziosk will provide your restaurant with boxes that (according to their website) allow you to not have to wait for your server to bring the check. You can close your account when you are done, and not wait for the server. Did I mention that your cost is increased to cover this overhead? Never mind that this is not how restaurants work; if it was, it could be easily handled by a simple admonition to servers: "In the (5) times that you check on the diners, on the fifth time, when offering dessert, offer to bring the check." If the patrons decide against a final order, CLOSE THINGS OUT. This is a simple enough instruction, for any server. In our case, we had an overly sufficient Gift Card, that Ziosk could not readily handle, causing extra employees to close the account. Regarding the meal: very poor selection of dry reds; no merlots, and a poor excuse for a cabernet. No offers for a second glass. read more

I have not tried 1 food item I did not like. The honey butter croissants are insanely good. $2.99 for 4 hot and flaky croissants with honey butter drizzled over them. OMG. And the Piña Coladas...they acrually dip the rim of the glass in honey and coat it with fresh toasted coconut. They are SO good. I think my favorite meal here is the blackend salmon with rice. The cesar salads are amazing. They are even delivered in a chilled bowl. The one thing I might have to make a suggestion on is, sometimes the servers table turn too fast. One time we weren't even seated and they were already asking for our drink order. Then within 30 seconds of the appetizer coming out, the food arrived. So that would be my only recommendation is to slow down just a little bit and let the guest eat comfortably. Sometimes it's a bit too 'eat and get out' on busy evenings. This was our first visit to Cheddars after they did their menu revamp a few months ago. I was pleasantly surprised with how nice the menu is now and the added food options! It was cold and rainy on our visit so I had the chicken pot pie, and boy was it a large serving. I had enough for my dinner and an entire meal the following day.
