We don't have a Cheddar's in our neighborhood but we were staying over in the area and stopped here for dinner. You walk in & instantly know it's a chain; and that's not a bad thing, right? It's a chain. It's chain food but good chain food. Like an O'Charleys is trying desperately to have a love child with Texas Roadhouse. And that's not a bad thing, right? Good bread; good cheesy broccoli casserole, good service. If ever we're searching for a dinner spot and there's a Cheddar's near by, I'll stop. Because I'll know what to expect. read more

I usually don't review chain resturants but I had never been to a Cheddar's before and was impressed with the service at this location, so thought I would share the love. Atmosphere: 4 stars- Casual, Family friendly, American dining, with a modern design that includes an open ceiling with large ceiling fan. Service: 5 stars- I was really impressed with all of the waitstaff that I could see running around the dining area. There was a good level of teamwork and the staff looked professional in their uniforms. Was it fine dining level service? No. But for what it was, the staff did a fantastic job. Our food was hot and even the hostesses who took our names were polite and efficient. Whoever is managing this location knows what they are doing because this doesn't happen on accident. Kudos to the staff! Food: 3.5 stars- I got the chicken tender meal, which is pretty basic compared to what I would normally go for at a resturant, but it just sounded good tonight. The chicken was as good as most hand battered QSR chicken places such as Raising Cane's. The seasoning salt on the fries was very good. I got the broccoli cheddar side, which tasted just like you'd expect. Overall, nothing stood out as amazing (except the ranch dressing which was amazeballs) but nothing was bad either. I would say it was a step up from Applebee's but not much more than that. Value: 4 stars- The portion sizes were generous and the menu prices are in line with most large chain American full service restaurants. If you like Cheddar's, I think you would be pleased with this location. I think there are other options that are better than Cheddar's, but sometimes good enough is good enough. Our waitress was amazing, stayed on top of everything and had great customer service...I'm sad I don't remember her name. Food was good, croissants amazing as always, my chicken tenders were great, coleslaw was good, and my baked potato was also. My daughter said her Alfredo with shrimp was good but the sauce was missing some flavor and after tasting a bite I can agree. Took my 90 year old mother for lunch. It was her first outing since the Pandemic. We sat outside and enjoyed the weather and the awesome service. Our waitress was the sweetest person I have ever met. I ordered the lunch size bourbon glazed salmon and it was cooked to perfection. My mother got the chicken tenders and there were so many it looked like a whole chicken. Cheddars is a great spot to hit up for a casual dinner. Any place that starts off with honey butter croissants is good in my book. All our food came out hot and the orders were correct. I'm on a business trip and never had Cheddars so wanted to give it a try and put on an order for pickup. I ordered the spinach dip, a cup of potato soup and the monte cristo sandwich with raspberry sauce and a side of the broccoli cheddar casserole. The potato soup is pretty good. Nice chunks of potatoes and toppings were cheddar cheese and bacon. Nice and thick! Next was the spinach dip with chips. It also came with salsa on the side. The spinach dip was your typical dip. The chips were good though. Last was the monte cristo sandwich with cheddar broccoli casserole. First, the sandwich was pretty good! I ordered extra raspberry sauce and the sauce was really good! The batter on the sandwich was nice and crispy. The disappointment for me was the broccoli cheddar casserole and that's because I didn't get to eat it. I took one bite of it and noticed quickly it has rice in it. I spit out the bite I took and didn't get to taste it at all. I cannot have rice as it makes me physically ill. Very very ill. I always look for rice in dishes and went back to their menu and couldn't find the ingredient list on the picture of this side dish. I did a Google search and found the ingredients in Cheddars dish. It does contain rice. It would be nice to have those ingredients listed with the dish on their website as the picture doesn't look like rice at all. I've had this dish other places and there wasn't any rice in those. I'm glad I caught it right when I took the bite or I would be sick all night. Everything was really great! Christina took great care of us! The food was hot and tasty. I wouldn't think this would be a great steak stop. It was a great choice! The steak came out perfect and juicy. The drinks are huge and well made. I think it's weird that burgers don't come with fries or chips. They're under $10 though. They have a sandwich called a Monte Cristo. Since this is a pretty unique choice, we had to try it. It's more of a dessert than lunch. It's like a funnel cake with a little bit of meat and cheese folded into it. The steak was super. I liked the broccoli cheese casserole too. We came to Cheddar's with a party of 12. We waited a short time for our table to be set up, maybe a 5 minute wait. Our server Tiffany greeted us immediately and got drink orders. From that point on, she was AMAZING! She paid attention to details and we never needed anything. When the food came out, Tiffany had several others help bring out the food. Everything was delicious and the food was hot. That is hard to do with a party of 12. There was a lot of teamwork at this location. As far as chains that serve typical "American" fare, Cheddars is a great option and a superior choice to many other restaurant chains in the same category. The location is big and comfortable, great for larger parties. The menu is big with a lot of variety and the portions are often large enough to eat and also have enough left over to take home. My favorite is the honey mustard chicken with rice, fries and steamed broccoli. The salads are great too. Highly recommend the cocktails as well. The bar area is separated by a huge fish tank and a good option for solo or duo diners, to enjoy watching sports, happy hour or just a quicker dining experience than say waiting for a table in the main dining area. read more

Ordered the ribeye steak with a loaded baked potato and Caesar salad. The salad came right away, not bad but nothing special. About halfway through, I noticed something dried on about 1/3 of the rim of the bowl. I didn't make a fuss, but pointed out the dirty bowl to the waitress. She said she informed the manager, but he must have been too busy in an empty restaurant on a Monday afternoon to stop by. The potato was OK, cooked fine, but no salt on the skin so it was tasteless. The steak was cooked to order, but it was a super bland, low quality cut of meat. Honestly, I've had more flavorful steaks at Denny's. I can't say the meal was bad, but it's something I'd expect at a truck stop. I won't be back. read more

Their bbq chicken I had was excellent. I liked their coleslaw. it was a bit creamier than normal and more flavor from the pepper. the bbq sauce was a mix of pineapple, molasses and something else. I really enjoyed it. Not typical sauce Im used to. The food was a bit too high priced but at least they brought the quality for the price. We seemed to be forgotten by the server as others around us got more attention. we still had a 2 hr drive ahead of us so slow service was not appreciated. We did get the donuts and those were incredible. I had to use the ladies room and it was disgusting and not clean. One stall was working, no tp in the other and the third not unclogged. The main complaint I had was that the restaurant have free Wi-Fi. However, if you chose not to use the Wi-Fi, you could not access meetings. It seemed that they were blocking you from using cellular service. I had trying to join a work meeting using cellular service only on my work phone however, I could not join the meeting, unless I walked outside far enough away from the building. then when I re-entered the building, it disconnected me. However, I had four bars on my phone cellular service, so I should have been able to use my phone. Of course I could use their Wi-Fi, but it was an unsecure connection. My sister got a steak with mashed potatoes and corn. Her sides were cold. Her steak was very overcooked. She didn't send it back but it was awful for her. Kim was so friendly, upbeat, knowledgeable, super nice and willing to answer all questions and gave the best selecting. This continues to be one our families favourite dinner spots when we have a few extra bucks. The store is always clean and the staff was on point this time for sure. My wife tried one of their drinks from the bar which she described as "tasting phenomenal but watch out because it has a kick." For me I got the Top Sirloin And Shrimp plate. The steak was a 6 oz sirloin which was perfectly cooked (medium rare in my case) and had great flavour. No steak sauce necessary here for sure and I like steak sauce too. You have an option of either grilled or fried shrimp which I picked the fried kind. Great breading and good sized shrimp too. I got Mac and cheese as my side which was a slightly above average take on it. All in all a delicious meal and another great visit to Cheddar's. read more

Tried someplace new this time and Chedders has a lot of items on there menu that are kinda different. I had the monte Cristo its a ham, turkey swiss cheese and American cheese wrapped in fried dough with a sweet side to it. It was very good but the sweetness over took the savory for me. We usually have a long wait, which I don't mind, except that we've been told more than once that our wait would be half an hour, only to be seated nearly two hours later. The price is a little high, but the food is pretty good. I love to show my kids the fish tank while we wait. The giant fan is neat. A waitress let me get a plant clipping for my birthday two years ago. I love the live plants all around. I don't think I've ever had bad food or bad service here. read more

I wanted to order the croissants, but was told they were still in the oven, so they'd take 10 min. Water came, then 10 min later drinks, then our orders were finally taken. Probably another 10 min later croissants, which were almost all dough on the inside and not cooked at all. They weren't good at all. She did keep apologizing, but service was ridiculously slow. I received my side salad first and I was happy and surprised that all of the ingredients were fresh and the salad was so large I was almost full after eating just that. Our dinners arrived together, hubby's chicken pecan salad was just as good as mine. However, my veggie dish was a bit lacking. The corn was really good, the green beans were average and I didn't like the mashed potatoes much at all, thought the gravy was not great, it was a white gravy and a little peppery. They have really good prices for the portions they serve, and the best part is they taste amazing. Their service matches their food, it is always fantastic when we come in. I'd highly recommend you try the half rack ribs and chicken tenders combo. Get a side salad with it, their rolls that come with the salad are soooo good. And they offer free wifi. They have an outdoor seating area, when the weather is nice, it's the perfect spot to dine. I was trying out this restaurant with some of my co-workers tonight. The food was delicious & well made! They give big portions and lots of options to choose from. The reason we gave this restaurant three stars instead of five is due to the poor service we had with Lindsey our waitress. She failed to check up on us to see if we were doing well. We requested things like ranch, extra napkins & croissants multiple times & she completely FORGOT. We had to ask another waiter for the things she didn't bring us. She was also very unprofessional as she broke glasses in the bar area multiple times. She started laughing about it before having to clean it up... I will preface by saying that up until this experience, Cheddar's was one of our favorite places to eat, and somewhere we frequented often. We went to Cheddar's last night for a late dinner. We were seated just before 9 pm, so the restaurant was not extremely busy. As soon as we walked through the front door, we were hit with the strong odor of mildew, as if the floors were recently gone over with a dirty mop. We were seated in the back bar area close to the restrooms. I stopped in the ladies room before taking my seat, and the conditions of the restroom were to the point that I almost made the decision to go elsewhere, but it was late and we were starving, so we stayed. The stall doors were covered in a sticky film as if they had not been wiped down in months. There was toilet paper all over the floor, and overflowing from the garbage can, and the . The restaurant overall was FILTHY! Every step we took from the front door to the dining room was covered in food, crumbs, stray napkins, receipt paper, toilet paper, etc. We ordered our appetizer, after waiting for quite some time for our drinks (however, it wasn't the bartender's fault that she was the only one covering the bar and the entire back seating area). We always get the spinach dip with tortilla chips and LOVE it, but last night the chips were so under cooked, we could barely chew them. We requested a new order of chips, only to have them come out approximately 15 minutes after we ordered them (the restaurant was not busy at all), just as chewy as the first batch, and by this time our dip was cold. We told our server we would take home the dip and buy our own chips on the way home, so we could attempt to enjoy it. Our server offered to have management take the app off our bill, but no one from management stopped by the table or made any attempt to address our complaint. The rest of the meal was mediocre at best, but edible. This restaurant has never been this disgusting or produced such disappointing food. I hope it turns around. read more

Always one of my favorite restaurants! Stopped in for a late dinner after doing some shopping in the area. Of course all Cheddar's look exactly the same inside and I love the familiarity when I walk inside. My party of 2 was greeted promptly and escorted to our table. Our server soon followed to introduce herself and take drink orders. After I inquired about the chicken & waffles that was recently added a new entree, I was told that it had already been taken off the menu. I was a little bummed by that since it was relatively new menu item and I never got to try it. Oh well. I ended up choosing bourbon glazed salmon with veggies as my sides, and my daughter had the meatloaf with mashed potatoes and mac & cheese. Everything was delivered to our table hot and fresh in no time at all. Everything looked and tasted great. Our server was wonderful. She was hospitable, attentive, and kept our glasses full. Average and frustrating. Stopped by on a Saturday night with the wife around 8:00 and told it would be a 15-20 minute wait, which was accurate. The frustration was there were probably 25 dirty tables. When I question the wait time and comment on the number of tables I could be available I was told by two people standing around at the hostess stand that they only had one person to bus and they didn't clean tables.Apparently busing tables is a highly skilled job because there were multiple groups of employees standing around chit chatting. Proceeded to the bar while we waited and bartender was courteous but wasn't winning any speed contest. The food was decent but nothing special and a bit underwhelming. read more
