Beer bar!
Hebers C.

My buddy took me here for happy hour and it was the best. No wait, quick service and amazing prices for what they offer. We started with a beer and soju and ordered a bunch of things off their happy hour menu (which had a variety of options). I'm definitely a fan of their seasonings and sauces as it added a nice flavor to everything. I recommend the skewers and chashu Rice. The takoyaki is definitely a must. They have TV's for sports, and plenty of dessert options (which I need to go back to check out). Music is lively and upbeat, but not too loud. This place is great for groups. I was told it gets busy on the weekends, but during the week, it's a breeze to get things going.

Cheers Cafe where you can indulge yourself in a culinary experience of a variety dishes from all different Asian cuisine. They also have craft beverages and drinks. It kind of gives you that gastropub vibes. Service was friendly and attentive. The restaurant is cute, warm and inviting with colorful decor. I love that this restaurant has a variety of Korean food, mini hot pots, skewers, rice bowls, fruity desserts and drinks, and more. Everything we ordered: Bulgogi Bibimbap 5/5 Variety Skewers 4/5 Garlic Parmesan Fried Chicken 3/5 Lychee Cocktail 5/5 Food tastes pretty solid. We want to come back and explore more of their menu offerings especially their mini hot pot. Great addition to the West Covina area!

Checked out Cheers Cafe, a Korean fusion spot that serves mini hot pots, skewers, and rice bowls. We ordered the chili oil chicken dumplings, ribeye skewers, beef bibimbap and the spicy pork plate; all items were packed with flavor. The skewers had a bit too much cumin for my taste and the spicy pork was on the fattier side. On the other hand, the beef bibimbap that my boyfriend ordered was really good. Definitely something we'll get again. The chili oil chicken dumplings were spicy but good. Oh and the brussel sprouts was definitely a must. The honey balsamic glaze, or whatever is seasoning the brussel spouts, was the highlight of the night. The restaurant is located in a large plaza with plenty of parking, which made things super convenient. Overall, it's a solid spot with some hits and misses, but we'll definitely come back for the hot pots.

I didnt expect much from Cafes, but the food here is very good and fulfilling. Hotpots: I have mainly came for the late night hotpot as they don't close til 11pm. Their satay beef and their seafood hotpot are a fave, the soup bases are very good and flavorful, not lacking. It's also very packed with food. 2 people can share one mini hot pot with an extra rice. The hot pot i DONT Recommend is their sukiyaki one. Too sweet and the items soak up the sweetness. I think this one needs to be diluted. Some other faves- Fried tofu , comes with a good sweet sour sauce. Beefbelly and chiken Yakitori is also good. Pretty cheap per stick but the slices of meat are thick and seasoned well. Servers are nice and attentive. Usually not too busy. The store is big and spacious too with high ceilings. Right next to tokyo central.

Added more pics from their happy hour menu: Tues-Fri, 3pm-5pm and Sat/Sun 3pm/5pm. Love coming here for their happy hour. Good selection of items and quality & quantity are really good. Our favorites are the pork belly yakitori and chicken hearts. Chicken hearts aren't on HH but still a good deal if you're a fan. Milk teas are only $3 during HH and they come in large cups! Service continues to be great and the restaurant is clean and nicely decorated. Highly recommend coming here, especially during their happy hour.

Came for brunch! Google and Yelp says they're open at noon but when we got there at 12:01 there were a few tables already finishing up. A good option if you want some combos of dim sum, hot pot, yakitori, and rice dishes to share! We got two hot pots, some har gow and soup dumplings, bimbimbap with eel, and a selection of skewers. All came out tasty, but didn't all come out at once so we ate as the entrees came out. Bathroom was clean but they might need to work on the lighting.

Perfect place for splitting hotpot and getting food, trying a number of different things. The Lychee had decent alcohol taste, not the best, color is very strong, not sure if I'd recommend but it does the job alcohol wise. Relaxed casual vibe, nice lighting, booth seating along the wall feels cozy. Service is OK, had to wave them down but not bad. Forgot what night but it wasn't a Friday/Weekend and they closed at 10pm which is different than what hours state!! The pork was surprisingly very good, the meat and the garnishes made eating the rice very good. Satay hotpot - would recommend, would try other ones though, not super super amazing to the point where I don't want to try other flavors. The five spice looked interesting.

I tried the quail eggs, sausage, potato, and rice cake skewers as well as the honey brussels sprouts. Everything was really good and well seasoned but if I had to choose a favorite it probably would be the rice cake! Was a little slow to get the check but that's fine. Food came out decently fast.

Love love Cheers cafe. Everything we have ordered thus far has been delicious. The recent beef bulgogi bibimbap was a favorite. Highly recommend. Great service. Good ambiance.

Passed by West Co and found this cool spot on Yelp. The skewers looked good and got me to go check it out. It did not disappoint! They have Chinese-style skewers, Japanese yakitori, and even hotpot. And I ordered all of them! Good vibes and the service was good. I liked how they include cumin spice and peppered salt on the table for all the meat. They were all flavorful and cooked perfectly without tasting dry. The Mongolian lamb hot pot was good too. The soup base was ok the lighter side, that I wasn't used to, but I actually enjoyed a lot especially while eating more savior skewers on the side. Overall recommend this place. All the skewers were good!

The bartenders are friendly, attentive, and make you feel right at home every time. We recently booked a private party and reserved two rooms for my birthday celebration, and the entire experience was fantastic from start to finish. Suzie was wonderful to work with, organized, responsive, and made the whole process easy and stress-free. Our server took great care of our guests, the food was delicious, and we were given plenty of time to set up, which we truly appreciated. The ambiance is great, music, games and TV's for sports. They also had karaoke and honestly it was a little loud but, whatever I got used to it. We sat at the bar and our server was great! Our server took our drink order and food order within minutes and we watched a game while waiting for our food. My son ordered the Edna Vee burger with tots and mac n cheese. He loved the burger and tots and said the mac n cheese was alright. I ordered the Cesar salad wrap with tots and I thought it was great! My only complaint was the chicken portion to salad was a little slim but, the crispy tots made up for it. The star of the show was the bread pudding! I'm not a huge fan of soggy bread but, this one was perfect. It had candied walnuts, caramel, vanilla ice cream and apples. Probably some of the best bread pudding I've had. Since we were starving, I didn't get food pics but, I would absolutely recommend dining here for a good time and good food.

I am far from a connoisseur but let's give it a shot. Tried the Stereo instruction and it was light and refreshing. Next was Blue Raspberry spritzer also very light more like jolly rancher vibe, next was The couch Crusher very tasty light beer similar to a Michelob Ultra vibe, I sampled (yes free Samples) The Hopodouken and woah not for me it's a heavy hops earthy flavor beer. Acquired taste if you ask me. Finally my favorite was The Triple Jam. Slightly sweet and light goes down smooth. It was packed Sunday Playoff game. Seating was limited. Very staff was on it, service was excellent. Didnt get to try the pizza shop connected to the bar. Maybe next time. The vibes are excellent. Can't wait to be back.

As I pulled up to the parking lot, I noticed they had an outdoor seating area, which is really nice on hot days. It looked like a great spot to hang out with friends and enjoy a drink in the evening. When I went inside, I immediately liked the camping and outdoor vibes. The whole place has that rustic, lodge-style feel that makes it stand out. They had a bunch of pinball machines, which was a fun surprise, and there were murals all around the walls -- including ones of Lakers legend Kobe and the LA Dodgers. It definitely gives off strong local pride and a laid-back atmosphere. The inside is very spacious, with plenty of room to move around and a lot of TV screens, making it a solid spot to catch a game. I could easily see myself coming back to watch a Dodgers game there. That said, my experience at the bar wasn't the best. When I stepped into line to order, it seemed like the two beertenders were a bit distracted. There was a group of ladies sitting at the bar, and it felt like they were getting most of the attention. Usually, beertenders are welcoming and might ask something like, "Is this your first time here?" but the guy with the long mustache who served me gave off more of a "What do you want?" vibe. I asked for a taster, and he did provide one, but I didn't feel comfortable enough to ask to try anything else. At other breweries, I usually feel encouraged to explore the menu a bit more. Instead, I just winged it and ordered the Pink Lemonade Seltzer. It was okay, but compared to a lot of seltzers out there now, it wasn't very flavorful. It almost had a slight medicine-like taste. Because I didn't really feel the love from the beertenders, I ended up having just one drink and heading out. The space itself has a lot going for it -- great theme, fun games, plenty of TVs, and nice outdoor seating -- but I definitely think there's room for improvement in the customer service department. I might give it another try in the future, especially to catch a Dodgers game, but I'm hoping for a warmer, more welcoming experience next time.
