Back in town after 20 years in California. Show up at 7:15. Place supposedly closes at 9. Order a brick oven pizza that supposedly is not available until after 5, only to be told the pizza oven was closed. Ordered a Cobb salad yesterday, expecting the best, got the worst. For example, no blue cheese, no avocado. I had to cut the provided lettuce with a knife to make it edible and, big surprise, the salad included whole kernel corn which I have never seen in the hundreds of Cobb salads I've eaten in the past. Today I got the French Dip for lunch and what a disappointment! For $12 I got a sandwich (small in size) with a fair amount of beef and a little cheese on what appeared and tasted like a hot dog bun (not the French bread that was listed on the menu) with au jus in a cup. It did not come with any sides or even a pickle spear. Our first time at this restaurant in Maumelle. My wife and I met our friends for a get-together and dinner. We were seated quickly and our server was friendly and attentive. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant has a Cajun sports bar vibe and nicely decorated.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The menu is small but has a variety of options: burgers, sandwiches, pizza, salads and entrees, all with a Cajun theme. I will just focus on my meal. I had the Fried Alligator as an appetizer. These were cooked well and served with a jalapeno tartar sauce. Very tasty. My entree was the Fried Oyster Dinner, which sounds like you're getting a full meal. No. You get 6 fried oysters and it comes with fries or you can substitute the fries for another side. I substituted fries for the yellow squash and zucchini. The "dinner" comes with a side salad as well. Now, the food was tasty and served hot and well prepared, but what was hard to swallow was the $28 for what amounted to another appetizer. There are other Cajun style restaurants in Maumelle that give you enough food to take some home for the same price. My wife and friends meals were equally small offerings. I enjoyed the company and had a tasty meal, but the price points of the various menu items are such that we probably won't be back. read more

We were looking for a restaurant when driving to Kansas City. Reviews looked great. However...first table they sat us at was so lopsided that our drinks would not stay upright. We moved ourselves to the next table. We ordered chicken strips and a Ruben sandwich. Shoyl have been a safe meal. The Ruben came with only 1 slice of corn beef and Swiss cheese. When we told the waitress that it was missing some vital ingredients (sauerkraut and 1000 island dressing) she brought a small side of dressing. The sauerkraut arrived 10 minutes later and had been grilled. I informed the waitress that I don't think the cook knew how to make a Ruben. No response. Chicken fingers were burned. Wow NOT worth the drive from the highway. Skip this one. read more

No stars on this one, if yelp would allow it. I lived in Maumelle for 10 years and return to town utterly disappointed. My salad fortunate for me was okay but not what it used to be. The non-fat strawberry vinaigrette had no real strawberries like it used to and tasted bland. My mother had the "Big Easy" salad and found rotten lettuce. Then I noticed my friends (seen in picture) who came to join the meal. Later during our meal I witnessed a line cook leaning over food while chewing his dinner. Menu pretty much stays the same and food is pretty average. Service is always fast and staff very friendly and helpful. Location great as maumelle doesn't have many dine-in options that aren't Mexican,pizza or fast food. Good option if you want to stay in town. read more

Cheers in Maumelle is TOP NOTCH. I have used them twice lately and had a superb experience each time. On my first visit, I was visiting the Maumelle, AR area for the first time since the Covid pandemic. The wedge salad was amazing and the queso was comfort on a plate. For my 2nd visit, I needed to have food delivered to a friend who is not well. They went above and beyond on the food, service, quality & quantity. I cannot recommend them more highly. This is a hit place in Maumelle. The staff is wonderful and very generous to everyone. All of the food is excellent and we enjoy each time we go. Some of the items can be pricey but it's nice for an occasional meal. We've had so many things I don't really have a favorite. Recently I tried the grilled chicken sandwich and loved it too! The bun is sooooo yummy! The Alfredo pasta is my go-to just because I love pasta especially Alfredo. My family and I go here often, and always have a great time. Can be crowded, but I can't say that is a negative thing. We have probably tried most of the things on the menus, and they have all been good. My very picky six year old loves the chicken, and will take anyone on who tries to steal a molten lava cake from her. Maumelle needs more places like this to eat for sure. I love our local Cheers. Drinks are always perfect, the Chocolate Martini being my favorite. My husband usually gets their Kobe burger and I order crab cakes and a creme brûlée for dessert. Service is always great, both fast and friendly.
