First, I'll say that two stars may be a bit generous for this place. I didn't have high expectations for this place to start, but my husband was dying to check it out after discovering that they had Twinkie shakes from a road warrior spot on Good Day Atlanta. So, we checked out the locations on their website and headed out to Hiram. Since I'm limiting my calories, I ordered a plain burger with just mushrooms and onions. The sides options are only fries, so I just had the burger. My husband had his Twinkie shake and bacon cheeseburger. The set-up is similar to Fuddrucker's in that you dress your own burger. They serve fresh cut fries like Five Guys, and the burgers are flat like Steak 'N Shake. The taste...well, at first, I thought I would say, "this is like a burger I make at home." THEN, I refused to insult myself in that way. So, I think the best way I can describe it is like the burger I made when I first learned to cook! Didn't know I was actually supposed to season it, but I was so happy to be cooking so it didn't matter much. Unless, you are interested in reminiscing to your childhood cooking experience, I suggest keeping your $8 for burger and fries and go to a fast food restaurant or make it at home! Either will be better. Sorry Cheeseburger Bobby's but you didn't make the cut. :-( read more

We eat here about once a month. Consistently good burgers and I LOVE their fries. I also like that they have lots of topping options, and several dips and seasonings for the fries. The burgers are cooked to order and are well-seasoned. They are pretty reasonably priced. Never had an issue with the service, and they are always pretty busy, but I've never had to wait for a table or anything. Solid burger place if you live in the area! read more

We tried Cheeseburger Bobby's on a Monday night when we didn't feel like cooking. We tried placing the order online first but the website didn't seem to cooperate so I just went in. I placed an order at the counter and while I was waiting, I got an email confirming my online order went through. Oops. So I approached the counter and explained the situation. Morgan at the counter happily refunded me one of the orders and did so with a smile. The other ladies working did a wonderful job also. The food here was good but the service was above and beyond. I wish that I could give it more than 1 star because the food is pretty good but I just can't get past the nastiness of the dinning room and especially the restrooms! My thinking is this if the parts of the restaurant I can see are this dirty, then what does the parts I can't see look like? It's obvious that the management doesn't take pride in the restaurant and they don't hold employees to a standard of cleaning. A little elbow grease and some recovering of the nasty seating would go a long way. I love this place, different from other places in the area! I come here a lot! Let's start with FOOD: For the price you cant get much better. Fresh food that is so fresh it's delivered on a truck 3 times a week, including bread from a local bakery (also 3 times a week). It's made to order in front of you and served hot. Fresh produce that is replaced multiple times every hour, and you can get as much as you want, including condiments. If that isn't enough...you get extra fresh fries brought to your table through out your visit. And if you're not full they have frozen custard that you just about can't get anywhere else. If you are full, they will gladly send you on your way with a dinner mint. SERVICE: 10/10! I mean it. The crew always goes out of their way to make sure each individual visit is personalized and it's done with a smile and a "my pleasure." Let's be honest no one is perfect and you're always going to have areas of improvement but a lot of restaurants don't take action on fixing the problem, if there is one, this place does! And that says a lot. OWNERSHIP/MANAGEMENT: The owner donates hundreds (not kidding) of coupons at a time to churches/schools/fundraisers. Even catering 500 burgers and 200 hot dogs to feed staff and children on school campus. For fundraisers that are held at the store, the owner even rounds up on the percentage that he gives back of sales, literally giving away money to help whatever the fundraiser is for. The owner and business is so connected to the community and actually cares, and it shows or the place wouldn't be so packed. As a previous employee I can speak truthfully of how the restaurant/owner is behind closed doors. The owner of this franchise gave me the opportunity to have the funds to get married, buy a house, and go on paid vacations. And once it was time to go on to other opportunities I was lucky to have the support and building blocks this job gave me. As a current customer of this restaurant I can say nothing has changed and The food/experience is still amazing. But remember if you're reading a yelp review it's just someone's opinion, and that opinion isn't yours so put down your phone and go eat here! read more

By far the 2nd best burger joint I've ever been in, behind only Baci Burger in Las Vegas. This place is amazing. The burger was fantastic, and having the toppings bar is a great addition. The fries were extremely tasty and well cooked, and they have a bunch of different shakers of seasonings like Ranch, salt & vinegar, etc. Plus, they come around at times giving out refills of fries. You might compare this place to Five Guys, and of you've never had Five Guys you might compare it to Fuddruckers, and if you've never had both, I DONT KNOW WHAT TO TELL YA When you first come in you can feel a happy atmosphere. They guy at the counter (who I later found out was a new shift leader waiting for his shirt) was very friendly and assisted in answering any questions without any distain. His name was Chad! I asked him which were better between the onion rings and chili cheese fries and he told me the chili cheese fries and BBOOOYYY HE WAS NOT WRONG! While most chili cheese fries have all the toppings on top they add the chili and cheese in the fires and at first I didn't think I was going to be able to eat it all but they were just soooo good! I will probably anger a lot of Five Guys fans...but I much prefer Cheeseburger Bobbies. Again, I am rating this compared to other fast food franchises..not fancy restaurants. The burgers are hand formed and taste like salt pepper, beef, and a grill...the way I think burgers should taste. Did not have to season at all...as another reviewer said they had to. I dont want fancy seasonings on a burger or a steak...just salt and pepper. Burgers are a LOT less greasy and larger than Five Brothers. You get hand cut, skin on fries...and they will refill them constantly for free. It is a dress your own burger joint, which I prefer...I am super picky about how much ketchup, mayo, etc...so I want to do it myself. They have shredded and leaf lettuce, bread and butter pickles, dill pickles, hot peppers, chopped and sliced onions, and more. They also have ranch dressing and hot sauce...which makes me super happy since that is what I prefer to dip my fries and rings in. They have really great onion rings...but they are NOT unlimited and you get so few that it really is a rip-off...you get between 7 and 10 rings...ridiculous! A shame, because they really are good. Their tea is really, really good and...YAY...they have lemon WEDGES! The staff, at least at this location, is always friendly and efficient and the joint is really clean. They walk around and ask you if you need refills on your drinks or fries, offer peppermints, and offer to take away your trash. We paid $17 for a single cheeseburger, a double hamburger, an order of fries, an order of rings, and two drinks...seemed reasonable to me. You can also get a punch card and earn free meals. Ordered takeout on Friday night and was totally disappointed! For the most part, we love Bobby's, but this past weekend, the meal was less than satisfying. Both my husband and I received burgers that were flat, burnt and recooked! The last burger I had this thin was from Krystal's! I've been eating fast food long enough to know when a burger has been sitting for a while then warmed up and served as supposedly fresh. There were less than 5 families inside so I'm guessing others have experienced the change in quality. This place is usually packed and serves up the best double cheese burgers in town, but this weekend I found myself wondering if they changed staff?! Definitely some of the best burgers around - I've never been asked how I want my burger (temperature) so maybe they are like most burger joints where they just throw the meat on the grill and t comes out however it comes out - but it comes out good! You get to add your own toppings to your own likings. Their fries are fresh made (sometimes a little stumpy and for that reason you sometimes feel like your picking up potato nubs instead of fries - maybe they could call them spud nubs?) but the flavor is good. My first visit to Cheeseburger Bobbys left me underwhelmed. My sister-in-law had raved about the place so I wanted to check it out. I went on a Sunday. The atmosphere was loud and busy with lots of children running around. The staff was friendly and rapidly cleaned up tables as folks left. In fact, as soon as they saw a tray finished by an individual, they would swoop in to see if they could get it out of the way. The burger itself was good and the available toppings were fresh. Neither my wife or I enjoyed the fries. Too soft. My guess is that the oil wasn't staying hot enough due to the volume of fries being processed. I definitely wouldn't order them again. I walked out of there spending $18.25 for 2 burgers, 1 fries, and a drink. For me the value just wasn't there for the money. Again, the experience and the food was not bad, it just wasn't fantastic. Just moved in town and went to Cheeseburger Bobby's for dinner. I loved it!! Atmosphere is great located next to shopping stores. Family friendly. Burgers were awesome I love the fact that it had a Fixing table with all the ingredients to make your perfect burger/ cheeseburger. You don't have to worry about getting way to many onions or to little sauce you get to do it yourself. Great concept all around. I had a single bacon cheeseburger with half&half (fries&onion rings). The onion rings are a must. Way better then the fries in my opinion haven't had good onion rings in a long time. Dessert was in point they serve frozen cluster we had an Oreo sundae. It was Amazing!!! They had hot fudge and Oreos all mixed in. Definitely will be going back. Staff were all very friendly. It is a small establishment but worth the wait if you have to wait. This is more representative of the ownership than the actual food itself. I mean, the food is what you get. Burgers cooked to order by a grill person that most likely has put up with enough crap from other customers and you're just hoping that you're not the one customer they're going to take it out on. The fries are pretty much the same as the last sentence. Now with that out of the way I'd like to get to the real reason behind the low score: poor management..now I dont mean to imply anything of the managers but more that the owner isn't doing his part. Over the past year I've seen more people come and go in that restaurant than the last five years combined and quite frankly noticing that..well clearly my first though was this John guy is letting a lot of things go. But I'd recently spoken to someone who used to work there who described him as "the most approachable snake you'd ever meet" the fellow had a few more choice words and examples about him but I think you get the point, and if that doesn't say a lot about a man's character I dont know what will. Cooked just like we wanted them and served Fresh and Hot. The beef chili dog was sooo good. The fries were also delicious, even tho we weren't offered more as others were we still had plenty.
