I was not very impressed. We went during a time there were only 3-4 other tables in the dining room, there was hardly any traffic, however we, along with other patrons were waiting well over 45 mins for orders. I ordered the fish basket. Upon arrival, the Mac and cheese was cold and was not very flavorful, and for the meal itself I didn't really consider it worth $16. The staff was nice and courteous which made up for the poor dining. I likely will not return in the future, however there may have been other circumstances that caused this experience, and I recommend you try atleast once. read more

I got the buffalo shrimp tacos and I could not believe how spoiled the cabbage and shrimp were. I gagged. Cabbage was brown and shrimp had a bad taste that they were spoiled. We have witnessed this place go down rapidly recently the food quality isn't what it used to be. read more

We came in for dinner and the place looks really nice. Got our seats and our server was very good and very positive. We ordered our dinners and one of us got a sandwich while the other got oysters on the half shell. The sandwich tasted very good although a bit warm due to jalapenos and some peppers but the oysters, while tasting good, made the person eating them become very sick - vomiting with diarrhea and stomach cramps. read more

Raw oyster poor quality. Oyster Rockefeller to much toppings, masking the poor quality. We ordered drinks. Our waitress said, " the bartender was not available but I put the drinks order in." So, we've heard very mixed reviews about this place. Since it's been about 50/50 people saying it was good and terrible...we had stayed away. Tonight I finally convinced my wife to try as she begrudgingly agreed. We arrived to a sign that said "seat yourself" at the hostess stand but, a slew of dirty menus stacked on the counter. We took a couple and then went to find a seat. I'd say the restaurant was at 25% capacity. Each open table we looked at still had dirty dishes on it. We finally found a table and took and seat. We looked at the menu which does have many options for about 15 minutes. We were never greeted at all. No one really even looked our way. I decided that we this very poor start was enough to convince me that this is not a place I wanted to give my business to or certainly eat at. So, we left again with absolutely no one noticing. I am disappointed as I had high hopes but, it was just not meant to be. read more

My wife and I have been going to this location since it opened before COVID started and the food was excellent. But here lately in the last few visits I have noticed a slow decline in the quality of the food, the service and attention to detail. Good example was this last visit we had on 10 Sep 2021 when I ordered a 15 piece traditional meal and my wife had her usual 10 piece. When our food came out, I was missing 5 of the wings and the ones that were there, were cold. The waitress did bring out the remaining wings but it was the lack of attention to detail that bothered me a lot and it's very disappointing. Maybe in time these issues can be remedied with a little bit more training, experience and leadership. read more

I usually eat at Jefferson's once a week. I discovered it by accident when I missed a turn and went down Enterprise to turn around. Best mistake I could have made. The service is excellent and the food is good. I think the prices are good too. I always get the shrimp basket and it is good but a little salty. My husband and daughter have ordered a variety of dishes and they have liked them all. I recommend the sweet potato fries. They are served with a honey dipping sauce that is quite good. I have only been there in the early afternoon and it has a family friendly atmosphere that time of day. read more

The food is good in person, but the takeout food is god awful. Last 3 times we had takeout food was just a mess. Fried pickles that were soggy and looked like they went into the oil for 10-30 seconds at most. Soggy fries, food not coming as advertised, or missing items. I actually had to go back up there yesterday and get my takeout voided. I ordered the Buffalo tenders and the woman at the counter said oh well the sauce is tossed on the tenders after she had already looked and seen that there was indeed no sauce on the tenders at all. They tried to ask if I'd like it to be remade, but they'd already had us wait 35-40 minutes for the original order. I didn't have time to wait that long again for them to make it right. We won't be doing to-go there anymore, but may still eat there in person. read more

I watched at least 20 ppl come in without masks and were settled. It showed me that the owner and manager of this establishment does not care about the welfare of others. So this place is awesome if you sit down at the restaurant but if you order for pick up or deliver it's always wrong. They do not make it the same way as they would in the restaurant. I've ordered to go 3x and 3 different times it was awful. My mozzarella sticks were hollow and over cooked. My jalapeño burger was undercooked and didn't have the same sauce or topping as it did when I ate in the restaurant. My best friend has been raving about Jefferson's for a while now, so I finally took the plunge ... and simply put, wow. The fried pickles were quite literally the best I've ever had, and the garlic parmesan wings were a perfect combination of dry and wet with more parmesan poured on top than I've ever experienced anywhere else. Even with the Covid this was a very good dining experience. Very big open seating area with a semi separate bar area. This is not for the health nut. Most of the menu is fried. Service was excellent with a small wait time to be seated. There was 4 of us and we ordered burgers, Chicken Philly, and boneless wings. Worst margarita I've ever been served and the oysters were just fried batter with a tiny dried up oyster inside. Terrible food, terrible service. Freezing cold inside feb.14 2023. 15 minutes to get a pitcher of beer. 5 more for a mixed drink ordered at the same time. While the waiter/waitress and bartender chewed the fat. Add 20 more minutes and food shows up. Good food but overpriced. Waiter was flamboyant and belongs back in N.O. one more " baby girl" and I was gonna lose it. Would like to see one specific waitress, maybe bartender, wear shorts that cover her cheeks- that last few times we have visited, she walks around with cheeks hanging out of her shorts. I'm a bit disappointed. Ordered a Caesar salad hoping it was going to be good and it wasn't. The only I could taste was all the Parmesan cheese they decided to dump in my salad. I couldn't get the taste of the Caesar at all because they only poured drops of it on certain corners. read more
