Souvlaki On A Stick with potatoes and Rice
    Rikesha F.

Upon entering, the guy sitting near the front wrapping silverware continued to look down as my friend and I stood waiting to be helped or at the very least, greeted. The door announces when it's opened, so he had to see us. As we stood waiting, an older, friendlier gentleman came from outside and showed us to a table. He took our order from there. I ordered the souvlaki (chicken kebob) and my friend ordered The lamb chop special. The food is cooked to order and was fresh so there's a little wait. Our food had a great flavor and they did not skimp on the portions. The older gentleman kept us laughing with the dad jokes, which more than made up for the lack of acknowledgement from the other guy. Interestingly, you can also order Indian dishes from a separate menu as well. The two guys in the front that are in this review look to be of Indian decent, so keep that in mind. The only con was the price: while the food was good, the price of almost $60 was a little disappointing because the ambiance didn't match. This is more of a casual place, with paper napkins and rickety chairs. However, if you're in the area and looking for Mediterranean food, try this restaurant out.

This place never disappoints. Food is always fresh and delicious The portions are very generous so you could share (a little).

I have family that lives in Georgia close to Hiram, so this was along the way to my destination. They are located right off the Hwy so you cant miss them. All the reviews stated how good the food was, so we decided to try them. Customer service was good and the restaurant was clean. They where not busy, so our food came out in a timely manner. They do serve cakes and treats as well. We didn't have any room for sweets to go. Our food consisted of the gyros platter and plate with sides. All the food flavorful, plentiful and freshly made. The flavor was out of the world, we thoroughly enjoyed. This is a great place to have dinner or have friends meet for a dinner outing. They have plenty of seating inside and out. This really shocked me how good everything was. I will definitely be stopping here in the near future.

The absolute BEST FOOD AND SERVICE!! We pigged out and everything was sooooooo good! I wish there was a location in Villa Rica but we will definitely make the drive back to eat here and to see the owner again. Family friendly restaurant so it was laid back and comfortable.

Souvlaki Platter with rice and Greek Lemon Potatoes

This place is always as close to perfect as you can get. I love the food and the customer service. They have also recently renovated and upgraded the menu by adding a few new items. I got the Chicken Tikka and my daughter got the Souvlaki platter (both came with rice included). I come here all the time and they never disappoint.

I dined in at Gyro City Grill - Hiram tonight around 7:30 with my family. It was a cute place that seemed to be family run and operated. We saw reviews that mentioned that they had great gyros, so we decided to order the large gyro platter, a children's gyro, one side of roasted vegetables and Greek french fries with feta cheese and tzatziki sauce. We had waters to drink and the water was refreshing & not tappy. The gyros were remarkable! The meat was flavorful and juicy. My son LOVED it and ate it with the tomatoes, onion and lettuce. He actually requested a second one. The platter was larger enough for my husband and me to share. I truly loved the roasted veggies which included lemon potatoes, zucchini, squash, onions and carrots. The food was packed with flavor. We did not order desserts, but noticed they had an array of cakes available including a baklava cheese cake, red velvet, carrot cake and chocolate cake. There were a few people coming in to place orders to go as well while we dined in. The customer service was outstanding. The owner Ashok took great pride in his food and ensured we had what we needed. He was very friendly towards our family and thrilled to see us enjoy our meal. I am so glad we stumbled upon Gyro City Grill - Hiram and I will be back whenever I am in the area again and want a good gyro!

We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch here today. The service was excellent, friendly and efficient. The place was clean and spacious. We had the Greek lemon chicken soup, falafel app, and gyros. It was all super fresh and left us feeling full but not heavy. I loved the soup and the falafel were the best I've had in ages - so crispy! Looking forward to another visit. Odd that they also have Indian food but will definitely be trying it soon.

I've been here many times before so it saddens me to write this review. I purchased two Philly Gyros and a slice of the driest flavorless Strawberry Cake I've ever tasted. I don't normally buy pastries that aren't made in house due to questionable freshness. I let the new girl upfront talk me into buying an OVERPRICED SLICE OF NASTY DRY CAKE. Needless to say the entire order was a waste of money. I don't recommend buying the cake or Philly Gyros.

For those wondering for a good Indian or Greek place to eat this place is it . Tandoori, butter chicken and the lamb korma The food we had as a family delicious beyond compare. Family oriented definitely best customer service they are honestly just nice people, and good no great food.

The gyro was great! Packed with fresh meat, and toppings! Soft pita bread. The fries are very crispy, airy, and delicious! We live nearby and we enjoy the meal every time. Even if we lived far away, I would drive however long it takes to eat here. The owner is so sweet and friendly, and the waitress was very attentive. The restaurant is always clean. They have a patio that's nice to eat outside. They just started to serve Indian as well, and breakfast Saturday and Sunday mornings. We will have to come try those on our next visits!

Lamb vindaloo, garlic nan, and butter chicken.

The owner always welcomes you when you come in. They serve Greek food like gyros and falafel. The Greek food is amazing! My favorite is the lemon chicken soup. They also serve amazing Indian food like lamb curry, garlic nan, and sag paneer. They also have the best cake in Atlanta!!! The cheesecake baklava is heaven! This is my families favorite restaurant !!!

I had the Gyro Sliders and hummus.

Between my wife and I, we had the catfish, pork chops, green beans, mac & cheese, fried squash, purple hull peas, and cornbread. Everything was hot, fresh, and tasted great! And the entree portions were huge! I was considering getting the all you can eat catfish, but after I ate the 2 fillets they brought me, I was done. Done, I tell you! The cornbread was cooked on griddle and was fantastic. Likewise, the other sides were tasty as well. The pork chops were HUGE! Easily something that could be shared. Honestly, if I was forced to come up with any complaint at all, it's that maybe, MAYBE, the pork chops were a touch on the salty side. Do yourself a favor...stop in!!

While the slaw was not very good, the fish was crunchy and filling. A decent portion, too. On all our visits, they've burned the cornbread. That must be their norm. The table okra and the greens went down well. No one at the table enjoyed the corn/cob claiming a boring, bland, stale taste that even butter and salt couldn't save. The server was full of piss and vinegar. It wasn't just us, the next table over commented the same. This is probably a good place to avoid when busy. I guess I expected a better experience and feel a bit jaded with this place. At least we gave it a few attempts. 10/24

There was a brief wait, but we were seated in about ten minutes. The service was a bit slow, but they were also very busy. Our waitress was friendly but took a while to get back to our table throughout the experience to provide refills and order updates. There was another person assisting with bringing out things like our beverages and appetizer and this helped slightly. We ordered one triple dipper with bone in Nashville hot wings, boneless honey chipotle wings & nashville hot cheese sticks (Nashville Hot Mozz), a kids meal with chicken strips and fries (Pepper Pals Crispy Crispers) with honey mustard & a salad (Santa Fe) as entrees and one bottomless chips & salsa app. While the chips & salsa came out quickly, it took over thirty minutes for our full order to come out. My son loved the triple dipper! The tender and fries & salad were also good. The meal was not too pricey. Unfortunately we had a bit of waiting and fending for ourselves between me having to grab napkins from a busboy to prevent a mess with the saucy wing order and waiting for over 30 minutes for the food to come out after seeing a handful of tables receive similar orders (mainly for the triple dipper) come out for other tables faster. Not a bad experience overall, but I wouldn't rush back either.
