Food and service top notch. Great price too! We had country fried steak and eggs and a veggie omelette and home fries. Biscuits delicious. Definitely try this place if you're in the area. I highly recommend.

Great food and great service I couldn't have made it better myself. The Diner Plate (eggs, bacon, sausage, ham, potatoes, and toast) was perfect. Better than WH. Wife had shrimp and grits which were cooked perfectly. The cheese brought it all together with a smokey smoothness. Got the biscuits and gravy and just couldn't eat them all. Still worth it. The service was beyond expectations on a busy weekend morning.

Don't go here if you want good service

Well, used to really like this place. Good local breakfast and lunch spot but today they lost my business forever. Went in as a single for breakfast. Sit at a larger table since only open seat. Guy took my order and disappeared. Another waiter asked me to move to a smaller table to make room for a larger party and I responded no problem....and moved . 15 people came in after I ordered...ate....left. Asked my waiter if my food might be coming anytime soon and he said yes. He served food yo 6 more people that came in after me....I left. Guy in the pony tail there should be fired. Service at all time low Went to Kitty Kafe instead...quick service, great food. No issues. Done with The Ugly Diner. The giy cleaning the tables was more professional than the waiters

    Biscuits & Gravy

This was our second visit to The Ugly Diner. While small, it is a nice and clean environment. We were seated as soon as we arrived and our food didn't take too long at all. My husband is pretty picky when it comes to gravy and he thought his biscuits and gravy were fantastic!! I absolutely loved my omelette. The prices were low. We will 100% be back.

    Deliciousness on a plate!

This place is amazing! If you do not go here, you are cheating yourself out of great food. The peach cobbler toast is the best. Whoever they have cooking in the kitchen, knows what they are doing. 5++++++++++

So crowded we didn't even get seated so we left. While waiting we saw multiple tables trying to get a waiters attention to no avail.

Hidden gem. Great sandwiches. Friendly service. The owner and cook is a legit chef from Chicago. Treat yourself.

Great food, simple and to the point. Quick service, loved the wall of different condiments; we tried a few different hot sauces.

The all-you-can-eat family-style breakfast was fantastic, with plenty of delicious food for everyone. What really made the experience special was how interactive the performers were. Before the show, they walked around the restaurant chatting with guests and engaging with the kids. Our 10-year-old had an absolute blast and was entertained from start to finish. Our server, Alina, was wonderful--friendly, attentive, and always making sure we had everything we needed. We enjoyed our first visit so much that we returned the next day for lunch. TJ was our server and provided equally outstanding service. My husband ordered the po'boy, I had the fried shrimp basket, and our son chose the grilled shrimp. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and served quickly. I also tried the Shark Attack drink, which was not only delicious but came with a fun presentation that added to the experience. The combination of great food, excellent service, and a fun, family-friendly atmosphere kept drawing us back. Whether you're visiting with kids or just looking for a unique dining experience, this place is definitely worth a visit. We can't wait to come back the next time we're in town!

The vibes of this restaurant are great. Very lively and upbeat. It was Easter Sunday, so the kids received treat bags with Easter eggs filled with candy. That was so nice. I had the smothered snapper. It was phenomenal! It was flavorful, light, and flaky. My husband had the ultimate boil with snow crab. He enjoyed it and the trough of garlic butter for dipping. The kids also enjoyed their food. Now to the shenanigans...so much fun! The kids loved dancing on the tables. All of the staff were so fun and friendly! Loved the music and the DJ. The kids loved playing outside, the foam party, and we all loved the live music. This is the ultimate spring break stop. We didn't try the gelato, but maybe next time.

Type of Food: Scratch-made coastal Southern cuisine, fresh Gulf seafood (shrimp, oysters, fish, and crab claws), gumbo, po'boys, burgers, and tropical cocktails. Review: This was an excellent visit from start to finish. Going during an off-time on a weekday was a great move because we walked right in with absolutely no wait. The service was top-notch, with our glasses never staying empty thanks to plentiful refills--and their great iced tea was a major plus. We split a massive fried seafood platter that came with a ton of food and a surprisingly generous portion of crab claws. Sharing one of their alcohol bucket drinks was a fun highlight, and you simply cannot beat eating great food with that view and the gulf breeze. I also really loved checking out the gift shop located right next to the restaurant. Cons: Nothing bad to say about this visit!
