Lovely spot with great bites and really solid prices. Sadie took care of us on their outdoor patio and we have the best time for a family lunch in the sun. Ordered a lot of things off their happy hour menu. Bang bang shrimp was a big highlight, and their deserts are phenomenal. Would love to come back and try some more next time. Again shoutout Sadie our server. She was so attentive and sweet especially with our newborn nephew who was at the table with us. Thanks for having us!

    Free range and red snapper!

Great food! I had the red snapper and mashed potatoes with green beans! My wife the chicken with jambalaya rice. Bree was an absolute pleasure. She is very knowledgeable about the food and gave us great suggestions! Keep her management! Caviar We will be back for the cowboy caviar!

Today, we celebrated our 37th Anniversary and we chose to go to Cobalt for our anniversary dinner. Let me tell you, this place did NOT disappoint! We started out with Firecracker Shrimp for an appetizer. That remoulade sauce is all the rage! Excellent dish! Next, the wife got a house salad with a Champagne Vinaigrette dressing. Very tasty. I kept eating the shrimp! For entrees, the Wife ordered her favorite dish: The Shrimp Fra Diavolo. It was as good as always. Great spice notes. I ordered the Bronzed Grouper and it was delicious! The fish was cooked to perfection and the risotto was spot on. The sautéed blue crab was a nice touch. The flavor profile was very nice. Our server, whose name was Rachel, was very attentive, friendly, knowledgeable and courteous. Her pacing of our food was excellent. She recommended the Blackened Redfish with jambalaya and grilled asparagus, but after being disappointed last time by the Shrimp and Grits, I was determined to get the house specialties this time and I was very pleased. The manager stopped by and complemented us on our choices, noting the house specialties. Even Rachel said that if I had not tried the Bronzed Grouper, that I had to get it at least once. However, I will try the Redfish the next time that we visit. We enjoyed a nice Pinot Grigio with our meal and got some gourmet cookies to go (Lemon Coconut and Key Lime). Kudos to Cobalt for making our evening very special!

Gulf Shrimp and Grits but I subbed out the grits for jambalaya rice which was fantastic and nothing was a problem!

Outstanding! We had the absolute best waiter he was helpful in explaining the menu gave us his opinions which I love and the food was exceptional from appetizers all the way to a delicious desert. My only regret is that I didn't find this place when we first came to Orange Beach as we all wasted a bunch of time and money on other places that were awful. Def. Go here even tho reservations are not accepted the place is big beautiful and very very clean - the gift shop upon arrival is darling and the bakery in the front we also highly recommend as they also make the desserts we had after our meal and it was truly one of the best ever! If I could give this place 10 stars I would and it was more than reasonable for all that we got!

We came for lunch. Was seated right away. Beautiful place. Staff very friendly and attentive. Wes is an awesome waiter! My shrimp and grits were amazing! So much flavor, probably the best I have ever had. He got the special which was the amberjack Oscar style. It was cooked perfectly. Very fresh. We had the fried apple pie for desert. He loved it. I thought it was ok. But apple is never my favorite. We will definitely go back when we are in town.

Cobalt's is an amazing restaurant. We were seated quickly, and our server was prompt, friendly and attentive. We started with the crab finger appetizer, which was amazing to the palette. After, I ordered the Bronzed Grouper and my husband ordered the fried shrimp. The bronzed grouper was phenomenal and the fried shrimp tasted as if it had just come off the boat. We loved the light breading on the shrimp and again, both shrimp, grouper and crab fingers were amazing! The portioning was perfect for us and the prices extremely reasonable! Highly recommend eating at Cobalt's when in the area of Gulf Shores & Orange Beach!

Cobalt's is such a fun spot - and really indicative of the vibes in and around Orange Beach. The food is great, and the service is some of the best I've had in a long time! There's a huge free parking lot attached to the restaurant, which is always a perk worth calling out. A big heads-up that if you're looking for a quick dining experience, this isn't the place. Cobalt's doesn't take reservations, and you will wait at least an hour (but maybe closer to two hours like we did). However, there's a bar outdoors that you can grab drinks from while you wait, and the view of the bay is beautiful enough to keep you occupied for a long while. When we were finally seated inside, our server Tyler greeted us like we were long lost friends and shared all of the day's specials, along with several menu highlights. He made it clear to us that there was no wrong order, and after sampling a good bit of their menu, I have to agree with him. I also want to say that the great service we received from Tyler made up for the long wait just to get to our table ... and then some! I ordered the fresh catch of the day, which was swordfish. I opted to have it prepared grilled, and it was cooked perfectly and served with buttery green beans and a Cajun-inspired rice. Our group of seven tried a little bit of everything, and I'm not exaggerating when I say every bite was delicious. From the halibut special to the grouper to the steak to the tuna ... it was all extremely fresh and full of fun flavors. P.S. If you're a fan of oysters, these are some of the freshest I've had. Straight from the Gulf! Definitely worth tacking on a few to your meal.

    Pecan Fried Catfish

Dinner at Cobalt's was a mixed bag, but there were definitely some standouts! The crab and scallop cakes were delicious, especially paired with the coleslaw bedding underneath. The tuna nachos were a great appetizer and disappeared quickly. The pecan-crusted catfish was a huge hit at our table. One of the kids thoroughly enjoyed the pepperoni and Italian sausage pizza. The crab and corn bisque wasn't quite as good as we remembered from previous visits, and the cheese dip would be a pass for us next time. We'd skip it and order the Firecracker Shrimp instead. Overall, plenty of tasty options and several dishes we'd definitely order again! The waitress was fantastic as well. Great atmosphere.

The place itself is gorgeous. The setting is fantastic. You walk in thinking, "Okay, this is going to be a great experience." Then somewhere between the host stand and the check, things begin to unravel. Today finally pushed me into Yelp-review territory. We stopped in around 1 p.m. on a slow Sunday. The hostesses were gathered around the stand chatting like somebody had just dropped screenshots from the group text. The person who eventually greeted us was wearing dark sunglasses inside, which was certainly a choice. Not exactly the polished first impression you expect from a restaurant charging these prices. Once seated, things didn't improve much. Our server struggled to explain the specials, answer basic menu questions, or really seem familiar with what the restaurant was serving. Again, if I'm paying Zeke's prices, I'm expecting something slightly more polished than, "I thinnnnk that comes with..." Then the food arrived. One sandwich was specifically ordered without onions because of a food allergy. It arrived covered in onions. Another meal was supposed to come with Brussels sprouts. It arrived with fries instead. Our server disappeared for about 15 minutes after the food was dropped, so by the time she came back, we were nearly finished eating and in need of refills. I mentioned the missing Brussels sprouts and was told they'd be "right out." The Brussels sprouts were not right out. In fact, the Brussels sprouts apparently entered the witness protection program because we never saw them again. Neither did our server. Eventually she returned with the checks, seemed surprised that the Brussels sprouts had never arrived, removed them from the bill, and otherwise appeared remarkably unconcerned that the meal had been wrong from beginning to end. And that's really my issue with Zeke's. Restaurants have off days. Kitchens make mistakes. Servers forget things. I get it. But when you're charging premium prices, service should be the easy part to get right... and after multiple visits, Zeke's consistently misses the mark. At this point, I'll spend my local dollars elsewhere. And if you're visiting from out of town, just know what you're getting into: the view may be beautiful, but there's a decent chance your wallet will leave considerably lighter while you're still wondering whatever happened to your Brussels sprouts.

We were able to snag a couch area on a platform. It was so comfy and we loved the views. A heads up- if you snag a couch like this, kids will get up on the platform and jump off of it. People will step up on the platform and walk extremely close to you. I had to ask a kid to stop throwing sand by us because we were eating our dinner. It was a little chaotic. We were extremely patient and understand, but I could see some people being very upset and annoyed. After ordering, our food came out pretty quick. I started with the coconut grouper bites and they were phenomenal. Light breading, lightly sweat, and flaky. I had the Gulf Grilled Cobia and it was phenomenal. The fish was tender, flaky, and light. No fishiness at all. The sauce on the fish was also delightful. My husband and son had the fajita skewers and both enjoyed them. My husband also had the peel and eat shrimp and said they were amazing at The Gulf. Our drinks were okay. We had better drinks at other places during the week, but they weren't bad. We would return, but try to come on an off-time that wasn't so busy.

Gyoza - 7.0 Has a lot of filling which is good however, it isn't very seasoned or flavorful. They appeared to be fried however, not very crispy. The spice was expected obviously but still a tad too spicy. It also lacked the correct amount of sauce in my opinion. It also needed another ingredient or two to take it to the next level. I have eaten at restaurants in half the States that make up this country and have never had toasted sesame crackers with honey butter. One thing that stood out was the gift shop at the entrance--it could definitely use a refresh. The dark corner filled with outdated beach clothing isn't the best first impression. We visited on a Tuesday around 7:00 p.m., and there was no wait. During our meal, only about four tables were occupied, so it was very quiet. Our waitress was friendly, attentive, and checked on us frequently. The only odd part of the atmosphere was that cartoons were playing on the bar TVs even though there weren't any kids in the restaurant. For dinner, my husband ordered the surf and turf, and his steak was cooked perfectly. The baked potato, however, came with an overwhelming amount of melted cheese--enough for several potatoes. I ordered the blackened grouper. It was cooked well and had good flavor, but the fillet was very thin and wasn't as memorable as other grouper dishes I've had. The whipped sweet potatoes were sweeter than expected from the brown sugar, and the Brussels sprouts were heavily coated in a sweet balsamic glaze, leaving them soft instead of crispy. I think both sides would be better with less added sweetness to let the natural flavors shine. We finished with the Bananas Foster, which was delicious and a fun presentation. It came with three small scoops of vanilla ice cream and half a banana. Since the flaming presentation takes a little time, larger scoops of ice cream would hold up better and not be half melted by the time the fire goes out. We would come back to avoid wait at other restaurants but would try different side dishes next time.
