Summer perfection cold porter and lobster and tri tip sandwiches
    Lee P.

These guys really know how to make a toasty panini! SImple operation where sandwiches are freshly made, daily and then carried in their cart reefer, for toasting fresh to order. The quality of the bread is fantastic and the fillings are wonderful. I have visited them on two different occasions when they've been at ChuckAlek brewery in Ramona. The Grilled cheese sandwich has a wonderful combination of cheeses with just a little bit of pepper for zest. The Lobstah sandwich is divine, though the second time I had it and they reformulated with new cheeses and frankly, I prefer the original recipe (just like we all did with Coke). Hopefully, they too will see the folly of their ways and revert to the original recipe! The bacon and egg is unbelievably good, flavor unbelievably complex. It is now my favorite. Definitely get a couple of sandwiches. Tasty, good but not overly filling (a good thing), so you can get two with a friend and because they're served sliced in half, you can then mix 'n match and try two different sandwiches. Friendly folks!

Cheesy Amigos just catered our block party. I can't say enough positive about Lance and Kyle. From the first phone call they were professional and reliable. They were also very flexible with us as we were on a budget and even with RSVPs, you never know how many people will show up. We only had them do the sandwiches, which were delicious, and easy to eat as most people stood up. We did our own salads on the side (from Costco) and they had no problem with that. I got lots of comments about how much everyone liked the food. I can't say enough positive comments about this company and will definitely book them again.

I found this foodie truck at the Sand Sculpture Exhibit over the Labor Day Weekend. What a good find! The Cheesy Amigos offer up cheesy sandwiches. I tried the Spicy Triple Cheese sandwich. They grill the sandwich panini style. Filled with yummy mac n cheese. They were making each sandwich as they were order so they were piping hot and fresh. Pricing is decent. Customer service was top notch. I would try them again. I want to try the Lobster Mac sandwich next time. I just need to stumble across this foodie truck again.

They catered for my little brothers elementary school. I ordered the mac and cheese one and it had mac and cheese and bacon on bread. Its really pretty and had nice grill marks on them, the price wasn't really worth it at $6 though... I thought it'd be delicious as it said gourmet. My cheese wasn't as I expected to be oozing. Not worth the money just make one for yourself.

C-Level never disappoints. We were seated right away after about a five minute wait. I did have a reservation on OpenTable but when we got there, there were several challenges I believe in the seating area. Once we were seated, I noticed Chef Deborah walking around. She was greeting customers and being her very friendly and professional self. I was so impressed. We ordered.: Tempura Artichoke Appetizer, Fish and Chips, and a Chicken Caesar Salad. Everything was DELICIOUS! It was also awesome because Chef Deborah came by to greet us and talk to us and I had a chance to express how much I really like her Casa Gabriella restaurant in La Mesa. I told her how I have been a fan of her restaurants for a long time and I absolutely miss Bo Beau that used to be in Hillcrest, and then Ocean Beach. She updated me that it is now located in Long Beach, which is still good to know. Being able to dine and speak with the actual executive chef of this brand was awesome. Thank you, CRG for providing a wonderful lunch experience and for your consistency and delivering an excellent dining experience. I advise that people join their CRG Dining Loyalty Rewards.

I tend to keep it simple and order the same items every time. My go to is the crispy Brussels for $14 and the chicken sandwich for $16, and I usually rotate in the parmesan fries for $10. While they do offer other dishes that are worth trying, these favorites always keep me coming back. The service and ambiance are consistently great. It is located in Hillcrest, so the area is always lively, which adds to the overall experience. The energy, combined with the quality of the food, makes it a reliable choice whether I am dining with friends or hosting out of town guests. Parking can be a bit challenging, but that is typical for Hillcrest. I usually plan ahead and look for street parking nearby.

The music was at the perfect level, not too loud, which is a must for me. The bathroom has a shared washroom, which was a little confusing at first. There is a beautiful bar area as well. Our server was Isaiah, and he was an absolute darling. He recommended some of his favorites, and we tried a couple of them. They were very good. He gave us complimentary bubbly because we were celebrating our 10-year anniversary. Non-alcoholic for me, as I'm pregnant and about to pop lol. Then we were served deviled eggs, which my husband loved. I was very surprised to see Filipino dishes on their menu, so you know I had to try some! We ordered the following: Inihaw Pork Belly, Hokkaido Scallop, Roasted Marrow and Tartare, Shrimp Thai Salad, and the Oyster Sisig. I also ordered the 1 Hour to Fuji mocktail. The Inihaw Pork Belly had a banana ketchup glaze, but I couldn't taste it much, and it had a sugarcane gel sauce that was really tangy. I would rate this dish a 3/5. The Hokkaido Scallop was sooo good! 5/5 stars! The miso butter sauce was to die for! I wasn't a huge fan of the Roasted Marrow and Tartare because the marrow was a bit bland for me. The tartare was pretty good, according to my hubby. 3/5 for this plate for me. The Shrimp Thai Salad was so good! It wasn't too spicy, and the combination of bell peppers, lemongrass, peanuts, shallots, pomelo, and tamarind sauce was like a party in my mouth. 5/5 stars for this dish. I would highly recommend it! And last but not least, the Oyster Sisig. As a Filipina, I have very high expectations when it comes to Filipino food and was not expecting much from this dish. Boy, was I wrong! This absolutely knocked it out of the park for me. The oysters were fried and crispy but not overcooked, and their calamansi aioli was orgasmic, to say the least. It was so good that we ordered another. The only thing I could think of, as far as making it a bit more authentic to its name, is how the cast iron came out. Traditionally, sisig is served in a super-hot cast iron skillet so that when you mix it with the egg, the heat from the cast iron cooks the egg. Honestly, though, I wouldn't have it any other way. I don't normally eat eggs, but for this dish, I would make an exception every time. It's so good that I plan on coming here right after I give birth and ordering 10 plates of Oyster Sisig as my celebratory meal. If I could have this delivered to the hospital after I give birth, I would! 100/5 stars for the Oyster Sisig. My 1 Hour to Fuji mocktail was like a tangy apple soda, which I loved. This place is perfect for any date night. I love that they have small plates so you can try a variety of menu items without getting too full.
