    Brisket Sandwich

First time at Cheesy J's, brisket Sandwich was good but that tomato soup.... Garbage. ....... It was watery, tasteless and it started to separate while we sat there. Prices are high but for the sandwich, I would pay that. Also the soda seemed watered down. I felt like The wait staff was rushing us to order... I would give the experience 4 out of 10

I wanted to try this restaurant since it had just opened and I love grilled cheese. Walked in, no one greeted me. Stood at the register for 8 minutes. 3 employees were working less than 2 feet away from me, never acknowledged me or even apologized for the wait. Never even made eye contact. Not that friendly, not customer service oriented, and a grilled cheese with no sides or a drink cost me $14.50!!!! No thank you. I came in twice--my first and last time.

My experience was great! I asked the cashier amethyst for a recommendation and she recommend the Mac and cheese. The Mac and cheese were super good! And was warm when handed to me. Everyone had smiles and the room was full of great energy. Not too loud, they had a game on the tv with a good picture on it. Really nice sized menus, good lighting, interior decorating, and service. Will definitely come back!

My daughter and I went to try out the new place and were very disappointed. The bacon was not cooked well. The potato wedges were cold and almost tasted like they weren't cooked long enough. I had one with bbq and it was a bunch of fat. The best thing was the Mtn Dew and Pickles

Nothing like the photos or descriptions. Will not return. All the meat looked the same (processed).

Big portions and yummy tomato soup! Food doesn't really come salted though. Cute place.

Food was great, price was appropriate for the portions. Have to try the crazier cheesy's next time.

Our most recent visit was a take-out. We had the Bacon Wrapped Dates, one of our favorite dishes for many years, since we first had them at a tapas restaurant. This version is different from most we've had, in that the dates are stuffed with Manchego cheese, which we think is a very nice improvement. My wife ordered the French Onion Soup, which we both thought was really tasty. Even as a to-go item, it had a great tasting broth, good bread layer, and generous amount of cheese melted on top. I ordered the Caprese Salad. The Mozzarella was beautiful. I am hopeful that as we get into tomato season, they'll look at using some local / heirloom tomatoes, though these were acceptable. I don't recall any other place that had the addition of pesto, and I really liked this addition to the balsamic glaze that is typical of a Caprese Salad. For a "main", my wife had the patty melt, which was quite good. I had the Bleu & Red Burger (for the 2nd time), which I really enjoyed. (For me, it could have been a bit spicier with a little more sriracha.) Each of our sandwiches came with a side, which defaults to French Fries. My wife swapped for a Side Salad for a $2 upcharge, which she liked quite well. Since I already had the Caprese Salad, I swapped for a Baked Potato (with butter and sour cream) that was cooked perfectly. I should comment on why we swapped out the fries. Cap's joins nearly everyone else in Clarksville at not knowing how to make crispy fries, even after crispy fries are requested. Anyway, we'll continue eating here. And if they ever mention to me that they've learned how to make crispy fries, I'll try them again.

So before we even opened the doors, I already liked the place. I forgot to snap a pic of it, but a hot pepper plant was growing in a planter. It had plenty of beautiful peppers all ready to be harvested too. The restaurant was small. There are 4 tables that can seat 4 people. Their drinks are in plastic bottles in the fridge. They do offer hot tea and coffee. My husband and I ordered the Thai Tea and it was delicious. I ordered the bang bang chicken lunch special and my husband had the Thai beef salad. We cleaned our plates! That chicken was fried perfectly and the bang bang sauce can be put on anything and it will make it good. The chicken was juicy too. Our meals also came with a fried spring roll. I can eat those things all day long! Yum The little Thai lady that works there, she makes all of their sauces. I want to try all of them! Lol. I highly recommend this place. I'm sorry Duke for doubting your food based on your restaurant's name because I'm telling everyone where to go for some delicious Thai food. I'm glad we came in today and we will be back!
