    I booked Orange Coast overnight for a celebrity client who had several stops. Initial booking…read moreprocess was smooth, but the night of the service was a disaster. This is what our celebrity client's team reported: - Upon pickup, the car was messy with trash inside and 3 unlatched children's car seats thrown across the 2nd row - The driver notified our talent that it was their first time driving and they "got the job from a friend." When one of my team members entered the car after meeting up with the client these were her firsthand observations: - Malfunctioning sliding door and driver failed to exit the vehicle immediately to open it. - Empty water bottles on the floor causing a fall hazard; my co-worker slipped on one when entering the vehicle. - Empty cans in the back seat pockets. - Children's car seats discarded in 2nd row (no one in our party had children and car seats were NOT requested for this ride). - A bad odor in the car. - They were dropped off at the wrong location even though the driver was notified 3x of the drop-off location. Since it was the airport and we were on a tight timeline, our celebrity client had to walk for approx 10 minutes to the actual drop-off location. - When we tried to exit the vehicle the door got jammed and left us stuck inside until our celebrity client and the driver were able to force it open. - We asked the driver to please be ready at the pickup location by a certain time and we still had to wait 5 minutes outside for him in an unsafe location to arrive. I want to give credit to Greg -- who I called as soon as I was informed of the horrible first leg of the trip (around midnight, since it was an overnight service). He was mortified and apologetic and did everything he could to rectify the situation, but since it was an overnight service he couldn't get us a new driver or car. He did contact our driver to clean up the car and get rid of the car seats, and to my knowledge this did happen. I totally understand the constraints he was under and appreciate his efforts. A few days later, I reached out to the representative who had been handling our booking. I outlined everything I mentioned in this review and quite frankly asked for a refund of some kind, since our client was left feeling unsafe and uncomfortable, the timeline of our work day was affected, and the entire situation reflected extremely poorly on myself and our organization. The service was absolutely unacceptable and caused multiple safety issues throughout the evening. However, I received no response from our representative. I really never leave bad reviews unless it's a matter of safety but I do feel like I have to make this review. I would never recommend this car service to anyone based on the experience our celebrity client and his team had.

They communicated with me throughout the day before and the day of travel, were on time, and our drivers (Jesse to the airport and Mike coming home) were both so kind and professional. Our driver, John, was revealing identities and residence locations of other clients within the company as though it were casual conversation on the drive. We were uncomfortable hearing private information including locations of other clients and tried to redirect the conversation. John repeatedly cut us off while talking, multiple times, to continue discussing details about other clients of the company. He also told us we caught him on a good day and that was why he was carrying our luggage out of the vehicle and off the curb. John was casually disrespectful by interrupting our private conversation as well only to discuss what was interesting to him, and even when we responded, he ignored us and continued talking in a manner than seemed only to amuse himself. A quiet and professional drive is what we had hoped for. John's insistence about revealing other clients' identities among other details, along with being very casual to interrupt our private discussions with random thoughts that would come into his head made us feel differently about In Style. We asked for a supervisor to call us to discuss our ride, but we were never contacted. Steven our driver back from the airport, on the other hand, was very professional and courteous.

BUT...since my previous 5 star review was based on a no shenanigans decently priced tips-and-fees-included model I must revise my rating. Plush now has above average prices with the fees added on top. I will not give it one star because I apparently missed the statement at the bottom about adding fees later and that's my bad. But still had to cancel because the pricing is just not competitive enough anymore.

In March 2021 I reached out to Giovanni to request a quote for a Sprinter van to pick up at 4 different locations and drop off at LAX, and then pick up from LAX a week later and drop off at the 4 locations. After Gio answered all of my questions I called and booked the service for June 9th and 15th. The next day there was fraudulent charge on the credit card I used to book, but it never occurred to me at the time that it could be related. Towards the end of May I received notification that our flight times had changed and the members in my party preferred to be picked up together, so we only needed 2 stops before LAX, not 4. I called and had the confirmation updated to reflect these changes. Previously Gio had said reducing the stops would slightly reduce the price, and instead my price went up. I didn't notice the increase from the original quote until June 2nd, and I reached out to Gio at that time. He apologized and sent corrected confirmations with the original priciing. I would have been fine paying the increase if Gio hadn't been willing to change it, and had offered an explanation as to why it increased. I received an automated confirmation on June 8th reminding me of our pickups beginning at 5 a.m. the next morning. At 9:30 p.m. on June 8th I received a call from a woman at Gio's dispatch telling me they have an issue with one of their sprinter vans and they can't pick us up at 5 a.m. I insisted there had to be an alternative since it was less than 8 hours before we were supposed to be picked up, and she said they had no other vehicles available. The woman provided me with the phone number of a company that supposedly could help me arrange for a ride, but the person on the other end barely spoke English and sounded like I'd awakened him. We tried calling Gio and his phone would ring once and then go to voicemail every time we called. I'm not sure whether Gio was able to book something easier and at a better rate since I'm sure my discount was quite steep considering I booked at a time when nobody was traveling and businesses were taking what business they could get, or whether there was a legitimate issue. Regardless, this company should have been the one panicking and trying to arrange for transportation for our party a mere 8 hours before we needed to be picked up, not me. If Gio had communicated with me or his staff had worked to make the situation right, I'd probably be writing a 5-star review, but I'm not. Just be careful and maybe have a backup plan if you book with Gio and the pricing seems to good or the service you're requesting is a little complicated. Also, don't let all the positive reviews fool you. There are a couple of listings for this company on Yelp, and not all have only 5-stars like this listing does.

Departing from the initial venue, driver was at the exact location we asked him to be, so getting out of So-Fi was very smooth. Upon arriving at 2nd location, we asked if we could extend, and he referred me to the owner. Upon speaking to Ryan (owner), we agreed on a set time and price to extend our night. Needless to say, owner and driver were more than willing to let us continue our night with the ease of knowing we all had a ride home. Bus condition was in A1 shape, very clean, great speakers inside the cabin (no raspy sounds), and new clean ice in the coolers. I lost my phone in the mini-bus, was found by their cleaning staff, was notified and returned the next morning. 1000% professional business.
