My wife's family was having a reunion in Missouri and since she hasn't been there for about 3 years we figured it was a good time to visit. Most flights to Missouri have stop-overs but LAX had a few direct flights but they were departing and arriving during rush hour. Not wanting to deal with the traffic headache I started looking into uber, shuttles, and private chauffeurs. After looking at several companies I found Savvy to be a great price and decided to go with them. I contacted the owner Chris who was easy to communicate with. I started with yelp messaging which he replied to quickly and then finalized with texting which he replies to very fast. He picked us up in a Lincoln Towncar and drove the rush hour chaos while my wife and I relaxed in comfort. It was an older vehicle and no water was provided but there was some candies. When I arrived back home in LAX I had a text from Craig asking me to call him. He said once I have my luggage to find a white curb and let him know the pillar marking which in this case was 4-H. After a few minutes he rolled up, loaded our luggage, and we drove home in the comfort of a newer GMC Yukon Denali. He texted me a picture of what his SUV looked like so it was a breeze to recognize him to flag him down as he drove up. He provided us bottled water for the trip home and had phone charging cables plugged in and ready. My only complaint was Craig was overly confident about his two GPS. I told him he needed to get over for Valley View but he was confident in his GPS. This caused him to miss our exit and have to backtrack to our house. But a few minutes of detour was better than driving myself so it's no big deal. Next time I have to go to LAX I'll definitely be using Chris and his team. I scheduled pick up at 5:30, he texted me at 5:20 that he is here, I came out at 5:25 with some suitcases and said that my wife needs a few more minutes to get kids ready, he said you need to hurry up because I have another pick up after you, I said there are still a few minutes before your scheduled pick up time, he answered: I didn't really check exact time as of now. This is probably the best ride sharing services I've ever had! Chris is such an amazing driver, and so professional. He makes sure everyone is comfortable when he picks you up, and drives so smooth. He also knows his way around the OC, and LA like the back of his hand so he can take back ways when there is traffic ETC. AUTOMATICALLY CHARGED 20% TIP on credit card. Used for trips from Anaheim to LAX. Cars are clean and drivers were on time. However, automatically charging an additional 20% to pricing on the credit card is not a tip - it's a mandatory surcharge and should be advised in the quote. I generally tip 15 to 18% for drivers, maybe 20% if they had luggage to carry or traffic was bad. Questioned the driver on this and he said Chris said it was 20%.
