It was a huge salad of mixed greens topped with steak cooked perfectly medium, blue cheese crumbles, sliced red onions, cherry tomatoes and a balsamic vinaigrette on the side. Stopped in for a 630 dinner with a friend and got a booth right away. We started with some white wine and the house espresso martini. I opted for no baileys so it was a rich dark color and it was fantastic. I usually get a salad or starter but went for the parmesan crusted chicken and it was excellent. I got the birria tacos with fries and the tacos were tasty, if a little oily (pretty par for the course with birria tacos to be fair). The fries were amazing though, very crispy and salty. One of the best cinnamon rolls in Omaha. The cream cheese frosting has a hint of lemon! The sunrise waffle was loaded with fresh fruit! Also comes with a side. The ice cream battered French toast was also a hit. I had the T180 classic. Although the eggs were fluffy and the potatoes chunky and cooked well the fresh vegetables had a propane taste that made them inedible and infused that odd taste with everything it touched. I've had them before with dinner and have not had this taste before. Note to self order the bacon next time instead of the veggies with breakfast. Came for the brunch menu...on a Saturday late morning. We had a large party and a reservation so we were sat in the "party room" area and it wasn't super busy so we had the space to ourselves. I can see this being a good spot for a small gathering of sorts. Server was okay, nothing stood out just the normal expectation of a waitstaff. So, bottomless mimosas AND coffee...I went with the caramel coffee (hot) and Starbies who? No, because why was it the best coffee (in a restaurant) that I've had. There were a variety of drinks and everyone liked them, but the bartender did seem to have a heavy pour, which might be sweet on a Friday night, but a little much for bunch. The food was decent, I had French toast with a side of bacon and french fries. YES, fries...that's my business. It was good, bacon was cooked nicely and the French toast was a nice thick brioche that was fluffy and filling. The serving size was good for the price point and I wouldn't mind going beck to try the dinner menu, BUT i'm not jumping at the opportunity if you get what I mean. We stumbled upon Tavern 180 on Easter morning after staying at a nearby hotel, and were so happy when they had space for us without a reservation! The only awkward part about this place is getting in, and getting seated. We walked in the left door (as that is where it appears you should -- we watched other people do the same) and were confused about why the host stand was on the opposite side of the restaurant. We braved the snow and still went out for our date night! The place we originally wanted to go was closed but I'm so glad we ended up here!! Our server was incredible. I think her name might have been Amelia? She was so friendly and helpful. Enjoyed chatting with her. And our water never ran out! I was very excited about the jalapeño bacon Brussels sprouts and they didn't disappoint me. I had that with the Thai chicken peanut flatbread. The flatbread had a super thin, cracker like crust. The flavors were phenomenal. That with the Brussels sprouts was the perfect amount of food (even though one was a side and one was an app technically). My hubby loved the parm chicken!! Their menu wasn't expansive but I think they still had white a few options for various taste pallets. They had a larger wine line and they had lots of fun contrails! My wife ordered the Thai peanut chicken flatbread and was very happy with the quantity and quality. I ordered the fish and chips and had to remove all of the batter as it was so oily/greasy that I couldn't eat it. After removing the batter I found that the amount of fish served was small. This place is a rare find in a sea of sports bars and chain restaurants! My sis and I found it a few weeks back and were super impressed with the food and quiet, quaint ambiance! This has to be the noisiest and darkest restaurant in Omaha. Because of the floor, ceiling and walls, the sound just bounces around. The patrons have to scream at each other so it is a noise doom loop. It was so dark that I could barely make out the prices on the menu. But I could see well enough that the steaks were very expensive. I know some of the wines from the store and this place really marked them up. We had beers. Another weird thing is that TV screens are mounted on the wall throughout the space. Why? I had zero interest in meaningless NHL hockey games between teams I didn't recognize. To owners/management. I am a frequent guest of Tavern 180. I visited your establishment again tonight (5/1/24) between 600-730. I give you this date and time so hopefully you have cameras in there to show you I am not exaggerating. Dinner was excellent (as always). However, tonight there was a group of men, I would say 8-10 of them standing around the bar absolutely so loud they where impacting the entire restaurant, not just the bar, but your entire restaurant! They were (in my opinion) clearly over served. They were absolutely screaming at the top of their lungs and cursing quit a bit. There were women and children there and you could see some of the ladies were clearly offended. Call me old fashion, but yours is an establishment that I would think does not condone this kind of behavior. Bit of advice: have your bartender not over serve to this degree, and have whatever person working there in a management capacity have a talk with them about the unacceptable noise and cursing. BTW--I am no prude, I can hang with the boys and get very wild. But this occurs at a beer joint or at an outside bar at a golf course after a bad round! Not at a place like Tavern 180. read more

The best iced coffee I've ever had in my ENTIRE life. I'm still thinking about it two days later. For my entree, I chose the breakfast flatbread with gravy and added the fried onions to it. So good and plenty of food. Bella, our waitress, was fantastic. She was so friendly and sweet. Our table of 4+ a baby were seated in a relatively small space before they knew we had a stroller with us.
