Every time I come to this restaurant the food was always great the service is very quick and friendly I love the spicy Korean chicken and the cheese and crabmeat is out of this world. I only had one problem out of this location was the pork on a stick was dried out and too tough to eat but everything else was fine. I'm a big fan of Chinese buffets in general, and I've been to a few great ones and a few mediocre once. However, I think Chen Chen was the worst. The spring rolls were good, the fried rice and lo mein were passable but the rest of the food was questionable (at best). The sesame chicken was too hard to chew, the broccoli chicken was spongy and nothing tasted good. Halfway through the meal I noticed the cashier and a waitress making crab rangoon at another table. The cashier rang up at least four customers and never washed her hands before going back to fold more wontons. She wasn't wearing gloves or using hand sanitizer so that was the end for me. If they're willing to do that in front of customers I wonder how bad it is in the kitchen... read more

Very mediocre food at an extremely high price. While the food is not terrible, it definitely doesn't have the quality to justify the price. If it were $5 for the buffet, including drink, I could see it being a fair deal but as it stands, almost $10 is just too much. read more

This was the worst Chinese buffet I've ever been to. We came an hour before they closed and everything was stale or chewy. I got one plate of food and took one bite of everything but it all tasted bad. So I got another plate with different foods to see if they were any better. All stale and/or chewy. My boyfriend didn't eat his plate either. We told the waitress we weren't happy so the manager came over and tried to tell me I'd had two plates of food. I said I hadn't, I was just trying to find SOMETHING that tasted halfway decent. He said that maybe I shouldn't come so close to closing time. What? I didn't sail in at 15 minutes til close, I came a whole hour. I've worked in restaurants and buffets before so I know you can keep things fresh without wasting food. Then the manager tried to get me to show him exactly what food was bad. I told him all of it. I'd only taken one bite out of everything. He offered to make me something fresh but I told him I didn't want it because my appetite was ruined. He insulted me by saying that everyone else liked the food so maybe it was a personal problem. Maybe I didn't feel well. I told him not to make this a personal issue when the food was nasty. He made me pay for the price of one buffet even though we'd each only had a few bites. I've went to this restaurant several times and 9 out of 10 times the food was cold and had been sitting out a few times but the last time I went there was a fly in my food. My food was just taken from the bar, and when I went to get a bite I lucky saw the fly in the food. read more

Not very often do I have such exceptional service that I have to review it just for that reason. From the host to the servers and even to the cooks that are filling the buffet, I have never felt more welcome at a restaurant. And the food choice and quality is very exceptional for the price. This place is not a "great" Chinese place. The food and prices used to be much better, but in recent years the food has gotten a little bland and the price has gone up a bit. That being said, I love this place. If you like cheap Chinese buffets, this place is great. The egg drop soup is good and the rice and lo me in are really good. There's a spicy chicken dish that's really nice too. The waitstaff is always super attentive and really nice. I worry that they're under tipped because of the clientele so I always grossly overtip because they're really great and super nice. Stay away from the sushi, but everything else is good cheap Chinese food. read more

CRAB LEGS ARE BACK!!! $9.99 (Herman Cain should eat here) for all you can eat including sushi and crab legs - can't beat it. Ate there this evening. Chinese food is typical, but for a buffet the egg rolls are fresh and steamy inside. Very good. Crab legs were amazing. read more
