We have tried several Chinese restaurants in Rome. This is definitely the best. The food is consistently good.

Good food at a reasonable price. Not a place to dine in, but great for take out. Friendly service.

We get take out from Great China frequently and I have never experienced the language barrier that another reviewer describes.

I recently visited Bluefin and placed a hibachi order totaling $51. I asked for extra yum yum sauce…read moreand was told there would be an additional charge of $0.61 per sauce. I questioned the cashier, explaining that after spending over $50 on my order, I was surprised I would be charged extra for a small amount of sauce. She explained that it was due to the owner's policy, so I asked if I could speak with him. When the owner came over, the way the situation was handled was very disappointing. His response was that they have to charge because they "spend more on the sauce because of the container and lid." While I understand businesses have costs, the explanation and the way it was communicated felt unnecessary and dismissive. What's frustrating is that this was never about the $0.61. It was about customer appreciation and the bigger picture. A returning customer who regularly spends $50, $60, $70, or even $100 per visit should feel valued. Instead, it felt like the focus was on nickel-and-diming a loyal customer over something so small. Unfortunately, because of this experience, Bluefin has lost a customer who has supported their business and planned to continue coming back. Customer service and how you treat people matters, and this interaction left a very negative impression.
